He's got all the passion you could want from a play-by-play announcer, but he just doesn't understand soccer strategy and tactics. It's a shame. I can't listen to games he calls for that reason, I just have to mute the TV or listen to the Spanish broadcast (even though I don't speak Spanish) because it's so maddening listening to his commentary.
