I ended up watching the Netflix doc because of the video you made the other day. I was born in 1997 and never really knew about this case.. I wish I didn’t just watch that before bed.. so so heartbreaking 💔
It is but now can you understand like the media sensationalism that I grew up with? I was born in 1985 so we were only a couple years apart in age me and JonBenét. What did you think?
@ yes I definitely got to see the twisted media sensationalism and I now understand how crazy this case really is. I really liked the documentary and I was on the edge of my seat. I genuinely thought there would be a happy ending but it never came, and all of the stuff Karr said on those tapes was extremely graphic and upsetting to hear, especially the "love necklace" part and the detailed "retelling" of what he claimed took place. I am glad I watched it though and got to know more about this case, all because of your video.
@ good I’m glad!🙏🏻 it’s just one of those cases and I hope it gets solved. But it’s crazy and sad and interesting because if it’s an intruder like I think personally, how when what???? Because that could be anyone that happens to…in the middle of the night someone come into your house is true nightmares. Only a nightmare would do that to a 6 year old baby girl. IMO. Education never hurts either. ❤️
I've been obsessed with this case from the beginning. Ive changed my mind a couple times over the years on who i think did it. Have you read the books written by Steve Thomas and the other one by James Kolar, two of the detectives on the case?
I’ve read and seen everything on this case because I’m only a couple years older than her were the same generation so when this happened my mom used to take me to the grocery store every single Friday when my dad got his check and she would always get her magazines. I remember seeing everything that was said and I grew up, literally looking at this as it was somebody who came from outside the home based on what actually happened. That’s my opinion. However, I have always ping-pong back-and-forth whether or not it was somebody that was known or unknown, but I’ve always thought that it was an intruder. Clearly. I have always believed that when they were gone at the Christmas party, the person got in the house. The person was looking around the house and scoping it out for hours they were gone. They went upstairs and wrote the note and left the rope they brought upstairs and was either hiding under jonbenets bed and huge bed skirt or the basement until everyone was asleep. I think she woke a bit later and possibly came down and ate some of her brothers pineapple in the bowl. Then the intruder came out and made himself known and took her to the basement. It can all be explained. There’s a possibility she could’ve ate it before sleeping in her bed because you don’t digest food while you’re sleeping and they didn’t know. My kids do that all the time grab things to snack on or share each others food and I have no idea they do it. I believe the tea and the pineapple was the brothers and it’s common when you are putting dishes away or washing them that of course the mother’s fingerprints would be on the outside of them. That’s normal. Dishes don’t fly themselves into the cabinet so you have to touch them to wash them and to put them away but only the brother’s fingerprints were on the outside of both so I believe that it was his tea and pineapple. I think the intruder was in the house the entire time they were gone. I think he either knew the family or was acquainted with the family or he had been doing recon on the family. But that’s just me logically trying to piece it together in my own head. The only thing that matters is that they have his DNA and they will catch him if they do their job. They can find an ancestry DNA match and they can pinpoint exactly who it is. Boulder police have to be willing to do their job though.
I see what your saying, but have you read through the grand jury indictments? As far as the DNA, those are only DNA components, and they know that, they know those can't be tested because they would lead back to several people and not a single profile, ever. So that's a red herring they keep up to cover the truth from the public..imo
@@StraightOutOfContextWithBarbiemy messages keep disappearing but I'll try this 1 more time, maybe its my phone ?? Anyway there are so many red herrings in this case. The early morning snow covering and lack of prints, anywhere outside. The grand jury indictments on the Ramseys, please find and read those. The DNA components they know can never be tested and come back to a single person because they are a combination of several people. A lot of covering up occurred in this case, i believe. The crime scene completely destroyed, so many many issues here. I was an adult when this happened and it's just fascinated me ever since
I haven’t watched the Netflix show yet as I’m unsure it would be worth my time. So many shows have basically said nothing new. What do you all suggest?
I watched it and liked it but I’ve grown up with this case so I would suggest it myself. But it’s facts and the media circus surrounding and updates. You don’t really learn anything new but you really do because you learned that a lot of the last 28 years was nothing but lies and misinformation and I’ve witnessed it myself growing up with the story. I’ve always thought it was an intruder myself but that’s just me. So it’s kind of hard to say whether I would suggest it to you but I watched it and I liked it and I would suggest it to other people to watch. Maybe if you’re bored or interested? And the messed up thing is they have the ability to solve it. They can take the DNA and they can do a reverse family tree based on family tree matches. The last seven years her father and siblings have been calling to the Boulder police to do exactly that.
I just turned 39 so I grew up with the case. I thought it was great because it completely eliminates all the lies and misinformation. The sad part is they have the ability to find out who the perpetrator is they have his DNA. Ceecee Moore can reverse family tree his dna based on family matches and find him, if he’s alive or not. The Boulder police have to be willing to do it. And they haven’t for years!
@ That's crazy! I remember the case when it happened, but it was kinda blown before they started investigating. That little girl. Bless her heart! She needs and deserves justice!
@ and justice is possible today if the boulder police use ancestral dna to match him and reverse family tree or hire ceecee Moore to help them! That’s what she does! She caught the golden state killer that way! Before he got too old or passed away too.
I agree, the people who have throughly looked into this case know that's the only thing that makes sense. Unless there was some elaborate cover up for someone else ?? But John going on TV as a frail elderly old man played out exactly how they had planned, didn't it? 😉
@meggyeggy2cute he was investigated after admitting to the crime but it was found he wasn't even in the country at the time. He's just a nut job looking for fame and also had a weird obsession with JBR and this whole case
I truely hope John gets closure on his daughter’s unaliving before he passes away 💔

@ I remember when it happened too and they could have done so much better.
@ they allowed so much contamination 🥹
@ yeah they did
I haven't been following this case. It's too heartbreaking. I did have strong feelings about her brother maybe? But, other than that IDK.

It was her brother
It absolutely was not and it’s disgusting and damaging to perpetuate such a hurtful lie.
