  • Thirty years into democracy and the country's credit rating status has diminished to sub-investment, or what some call junk status, grade.
    It's not always been like this, as the country once enjoyed investment grade status.
    Meaning that there was a greater appetite for foreign and local investors to invest in the country.

    In the last Local Government Elections less than 50% of the ELECTORATE voted. Yet the IEC declared it Free & Fair.
    It certainly was FREE but definitely it was not FAIR.
    A democracy is when the 50%+1 ie. the majority decided.
