James kills me when he says, "I'm dumb...I'm not sure I can think of something I would ask myself. .." He is SO freaking brilliant. The guy has one of the most interesting outlooks on life and everything contained within. What a great treat to spend even an hour with James Altucher!

We've failed until we didn't. Aim as high as you can, keep failing until you won't. It's gonna hurt a lot.

I'm new to this series, and already obsessed. For someone trying to learn the skill of resilience-after-failure, this is especially inspiring. Thank you for this! :)

It's so funny how Chase answers his own questions like he's the one being interviewed.

Thanks Chase, James is brilliant the type of guy you love to see win. So open and vulnerable!
On the low low, I would not normally seek out a fella like James Altucher.
Thanks again for expanding my view.

I think it'd be really cool, if Chase tacked on Day 31 and someone interviewed him. But who?

Loved the part about how beginners usually focus on tactical stuff like what kind of camera should I buy, when really it's about learning the process of making that's WAYYY more important.

Once my grandpa said: Your generation relies too much on technology.
Then I said: No. Your generation relies too much on technology.
Then I unplugged his life support.

The part where James explains how the public school system came to be,from the systemization of the Prussian Army to the British adopting a system to apply to all their colonies and then the same system being applied to education was really enlightening.
We should really look more into that and if anyone can share any source for more information on that,it would be really awesome.

    A few things:
Chase I'm sorry but I did not know you before this, but you're awesome and I love you now lol
James Altucher is so raw, REAL, and helpful, love the dude!
These 30 day things are INSANE and I really would like to see them published as a movie or something. Could help a LOT of people if they only knew these existed!!!! I'm lucky I saw the video recommended to me because of my viewing of GaryVee videos!

Chase is a great interviewer. I mean if someone said, "Late Night with Chase".... it wouldn't surprise me. But I think for the next 30 DOG +Chase Jarvis should have each person ask him 1 question. They should know about it well in advance to give it thought. #LOVE30DOG

This conversation is amazing, thought-provoking, and damn liberating for those of us who are hell-bent of the expression of creative ideas!! The talk is laden with great advice. Mr. Altucher and Mr. Jarvis: hearing your personal experiences and honest disclosure of your journey has given me a boost of adrenaline. Thank you to all involved in this video.

Great interview subject and topics. I want to add that not all manual skills will be able to be automated for a while, ie: skilled trades, until mechanical engineering and AI get a humanoid feasible.
