I’m one of Guigui/ Emma’s fan before the show and rewatching WGM now because I missed them. I know Guigui doesn’t have a lot of global fans because she is only active in the Chinese market. So I thought I would mention what has been going on with her after this show. In 2016, Guigui actually joined CJ E&M and trained for 3 months to debut in Korea. She changed her name from Emma to GEmma. She debuted with her song Sugar Rush and her album GEmma. She met Taecyeon again when he was hosting a music show and she was performing. In 2017, she left the company because China banned Korean entertainment so the company didn’t want her anymore because most of her fans are from China and Taiwan. I won’t say her singing or dancing is the best, but I see the effort she puts in and I admire her a lot. She participated in most of the production of her own songs “Knock Knock Knock”, “Love me”, etc. (These songs are after she left the company) The song, “Knock knock knock” costed her probably around one year’s worth of her income but she still insisted with the production because she wants to have her own product that she can be proud of. She is still working hard to improve her singing and dancing. He is the best match maker of the season. TaecGui couple brings lots of joy to us die hard romantics. Watching their love story unfold little by little is simply beautiful. Gui Gui said it was truly a big surprise that Taec wrote the letter himself for her. She had no idea how he gonna propose to her. She was so moved and in tears.(according to one of her interviews) So I would believe Taec wrote it himself and I don't think PD's english is good enough to do it. I don't know if he is truly in love with her, we will figure it out in the upcoming episodes. I hope he means it and not just do it for paycheck. If TaecGui is not love, then none of WGM couple is.

I honestly can't stop watching this proposal part, I keep replaying it since yesterday, It's sweet and touching. I'm sure Gui gui was honestly touched and couldn't say a word, hence the tears. it's because taec ask gui gui if whenever they are seperated or he means that there's no shooting if gui gui thinks about him and she said yes and also said in the black room when she's in taiwan she thinks of him most esp when 2pm is mention, he is the one she remember. Actually, in this episode, the questions ask by taec is really kinda personal and genuinely their true feelings with each other. Taec also mention he always think of gui gui even when his working, she always pops out in his mind

There was this part in the previous few episode's behind the scenes where her translator told her that she needs to ask for the things because that's the instructions of the PD. I guess it's their way of making it more "interesting" and "fresh"?

In the midst of anticipating tomorrow's episode and re-watching the proposal clip yet again. I would like to thank the Producer of GWGM Yoo Ho-Chul for pairing Taecyeon and Gui Gui. He is the best match maker of the season. TaecGui couple brings lots of joy to us die hard romantics. Watching their love story unfold little by little is simply beautiful. Oh, I guess they didn't put the darkroom interview of Taec's "When do you miss Gui Gui?" on youtube. To me, that's as romantic as his propose. Actually, I see it as Taec's true love confession to Gui. I was moved when he said she pops and goes in his head all the time and sometimes he feel she was calling him oppa in his head even though he is very busy. i dont know but people keep saying that hes faking it, ofcorz its fake coz its virtual marriage, then hes still a korean so the korean values are still intact in him even though he lives in boston for a few years.. koreans are not really into skinships.

this is a virtual marriage program, with 2 different person from 2 different countries, its scripted, the directors decide what will be their actions so people have to stop taking it on the actors if they do something u dont want..

I love this relationship. They are soo honest with eachother & don't pretend to be somebody they're not. Ppl have to understand that she's learning Korean culture through dramas that dramatize everything so even "OPPA" seems fake but she's trying her best to please him the way she sees thru the movies & stuff.

Gui Gui said it was truly a big surprise that Taec wrote the letter himself for her. She had no idea how he gonna propose to her. She was so moved and in tears.(according to one of her interviews) So I would believe Taec wrote it himself and I don't think PD's english is good enough to do it. I don't know if he is truly in love with her, we will figure it out in the upcoming episodes. I hope he means it and not just do it for paycheck. If TaecGui is not love, then none of WGM couple is.

She's just afraid you will brake her heart when this show is over because she have to go back to Taiwan and you stay in Korea. I honestly can't stop watching this proposal part, I keep replaying it since yesterday, It's sweet and touching. I'm sure Gui gui was honestly touched and couldn't say a word, hence the tears. it's because taec ask gui gui if whenever they are seperated or he means that there's no shooting if gui gui thinks about him and she said yes and also said in the black room when she's in taiwan she thinks of him most esp when 2pm is mention, he is the one she remember. Actually, in this episode, the questions ask by taec is really kinda personal and genuinely their true feelings with each other. Taec also mention he always think of gui gui even when his working, she always pops out in his mind

He proposed in a typical American romantic way...on bended knee with flowers. He is SO American it's rather strange to see it on this program after watching all the other couples, lol. I look forward to seeing her act a lot more mature too.

There wasn't any balloons, ring hidden in cake/ice cream etc. It was a simple proposal with a piano serenade and bouquets of flowers. However, what knocks me off was the beautifully written letter, full of sincerity and straight from the heart. Taecyeon really surprises me! This is one of the most awesome proposal in WGM history. If I am not married (which I am), I will marry the first guy that proposes to me like that. AWESOME!!! Taecgui Couple is always full of surprises.
