Great video, where can I find info how to replace that small compartment with slider - next to the center console, where usb aux located? Thanks in advance!!!! Cheers
Would this method work disassembling the console on a Acura MDX 2019? I understand it doesn't have a shifter, but would I be able to dismantle it from the side as you did?
Anytime you work on anything connected with the airbag sysem, yes. You may have seats with side airbags inside or the passenger presence sensor on the front passenger seat. www.myairbags.com
@@MyAirbags Thanks for the advise, and for the video! Need to do a thorough clean and your video was a huge boost in confidence for the interior disassembly.
I watched your video on removal of the center console but my issue is with the sliding tray right in front of the console. I had tickets in the tray and when I slid the tray forward to get the tickets the tickets went behind the tray and the tray became jammed. I see no way to retrieve the tickets unless I remove the console. Is there any other way to remove the sliding tray compartment as it looks like the sliding tray is enclosed and I cannot get into the back of this compartment ??Any help you could provide would be helpful as I can ot find anything on the sliding tray compartment. Thank You Ray
Usually they are held by plastic/metal clips. You can apply small pressure on the sides and see if it will pop loose. But dont apply too much force, just be gentle
