One of the most interesting, intense, misterious pieces of music; an incredible encounter of musical phantasy / vision (Ligeti) and instrumental brilliance / artistry / craftmanship / ingenuity (Lasalle Qu)! Thank you György Ligeti, thank you Lasalle Quartet! & thank you, glemoine14, for posting :-)
Thanks for uploading the LaSalle; of course I love the Arditti, but the LaSalle brings romanticism to the work, and they are a link to that tradition as Ligeti himself is a link to classical music - the last direct link, I believe. (With Kurtag.) As for the piece, it's a masterpiece, comparable to the very great works, and is among a handful of things that tell the sad story of the 20th century.

Can you also post the Lasalle dg recordings of Lutoslawski and Penderecki?
