The Green Color of the Lantern rings comes from the emotion that powers, in this case the power of will.
In an old story Hal was possessed by an alien parasite and tried to kill Superman with synthetic Kryptonite, but the writers removed that because of how OP that was.

Green Lantern could, theoretically, still make Kryptonite with their lantern rings given how much the Ring is still able to do, like when Sinestro made Hal a temporary ring when the Guardians revoked him prior to the Third Army

Green Lantern Movie was a shame that is why i like 2011 ( Green Lantern ) movie , also for me Warner Bro should just ignore the Flop Box Office of ( Green Lantern ) . If Warner Bro Release ( Green Lantern 2 : Rise Of Fear ) in Spring of 2015 it will be much better , than what i got and now i was crazy on ( Green Lantern : Corps ) after ( Aquaman ) and ( Shazam ) i want some news gosh .
