I get a bit nervous prior to track days but after the first session settle down. Really enjoyed your level headed approach to overtaking as you are obviously quite fast (being on an aprilia 💪🏼).
Thanks Dave, apologies for the late reply. Yes, One must show respect to all track riders no matter what, already we have many idiots on the public roads, the last thing you want is crashing into someone on track. So I just took it easy in the mornings and gave it some in the afternoons. And it's good to be nervous before a Trackday , even Rocky Balboa was nervous before his fights hahaha

@@ChasingTenths Ayrton Senna was a legend and well respected in the UK having led at several UK based F1 teams;Toleman, Lotus, McLaren, Williams. I was fortunate enough to ride my RSV-4 Factory at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola, including the remodelled Tamburello corner, so to pay my respects to Ayrton and Roland. What Sir Jackie Stewart started had to be restarted and goes on to this day with HANS and Halo plus the carbon chassis tub to protect the driver. Exactly my point in the video, there isn't a point being fastest in novice when you clearly don't belong in the group. The whole point of the video was to show never to book yourself in a group where you are clearly faster as it ruins the day for yourself and possibly others. I’d love to do more track riding but living where I do it hours and hours to even the closest and Enduro I just drive out of the garage and it begins 😂 keep doing what your doing great channel 💪🏻
I did comment originally when you wrote your original comment but seems like all my comments have been deleted by UA-cam when I converted the channel from personal to business
As you said terrifying if you're in the wrong pace for a group 🙈
Absolutely mate, spot on :)
Nice camera angle. Awesome dash you got there
Thanks mate
Really appreciate that
And thanks for watching the video too mate
1st gear at Cadwell scary mate but quick on the overtaking once committed like it when overtaking slower riders at cadwell dont forget the emphasis is on you to make a safe move well done mate I go there loads in summer .
Cheers mate
Thank you
Yeah that 1st gear was such a beginner error lol
It was my first time there
But can’t wait to go there again mate
Hope to see you there sometime
@@ChasingTenths I'll be there this year loads if ya ever booked on mate drop us a message
@@craigthompson1794 for sure mate , thank you
nice session, nice ride, nice time spent in a pure nature...with an gasoline odour essence in a nose a bit :)
Haha cheers mate
I appreciate you watching the videos
Means a lot to me
Another good video 👌 looking to do something similar next year with my channel
Thank you mate , I think I replied to you earlier too and you might have read my comment too but my old comments have been deleted before Jan 2020 as I converted the channel into business channel
lovely track. its only 30 miles from my house. missing going there in these first months of 2020
Dan77uk sorry mate, just seen your comment . You are one lucky man if this is near your house , it’s about 3 and a half hours from mine and the last hour is just super skinny Country roads. It was my first time there but what an extraordinary experience, separates the men from the boys . Can’t wait for lockdown to be over. Hope to see you there one day mate. Please do stay in touch (you can like chasing Tenths on Facebook) and thank you for watching the video . Very much appreciated
Chasing Tenths that’s okay bro. Yeah it’s only a hour away for me. Just 30 miles so not far. It’s a real unique track. So much undulation and a real bike track with it being so thin. It’s good you have respect for the slower riders. Some people don’t and I feel like that just makes them even more nervous and slower. Keep up the good work with the videos Abhi 👍🏻
Great video Don't you trust the AWC, even on 1? You are the kinda person we all want around us on track cos you are so respectful to other riders, unlike many here on track. I only want Rossi to cut me up at Druids, not Fred Twatarse thinking he's the next BSB contender. Keep the superb content coming Sir
Gio Verde wow thanks for the kind words , that day I just booked my self in the wrong group and there was no point being a hero and showing off .... Aprilia traction control still let’s you have fun so my bike was wheeling 50 percent
@@ChasingTenths I know what you mean mate. I'll be doing Brands on mine later this month and cannot wait. 👍🏻
Gio Verde I am there on the 14th this month
@@ChasingTenths nice👍🏻 I'm there on 21st. 😉
Pretty sure I was in your group that day I remember the big lad on the aprilia
Really , wow. You mean the big chap on the Tuono . He was very slow but minding his own business
Nice😉
This vid should be shown at every track day and before you see it and take it in you dont go on track might stop some idiots showing off and hurting others !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I understand Allan , that makes a lot of sense
Great Vid
Thank you very much , I did reply earlier , I think my comments have been deleted by UA-cam after an upgrade
Can you go there just to spectate?
Yes absolutely you can and it’s a great place to spectate , they have a mini grandstand just opposite the mountain section, so you can see the people wheeling
What dash is that?
its i2m pro dash mate. I did comment originally when you wrote your original comment but seems like all my comments have been deleted by UA-cam when I converted the channel from personal to business
I thinking of booking into a novice group at Donnington...is that wise . 🤔 I'm a redline rider on roads .is the track so different? 🔥 gonna go for novice myself but everyone looks soo slow . Thanx. I'm trying not to come across as a dik ...just don't have any experience on track ..
Definitely novice to start with mate especially at Donington , as the crainers corners can bite back.
Road and track are so much different mate. Just try novice first and see how it goes . You’ll be great
@@ChasingTenths thank u for confirming that my man . Cadwell looks great 👍
@@gideonsikk8733 no problem at all, have a good one mate. Remember you got nothing to prove at all. Just enjoy your trackday and have a good one .. and yes cadwell park and oulton park are a must , proper rollercoasters
You need to work on body position, your head is behind the screen in turns. Should be pushing the bike upright.
I will do for sure, thanks for the tip. Much appreciated mate
Love this track definitely a track of two halfs try an open pit day a real eye opener 😎
Wow open pitlane on this track would be unbelievable. It was my first time there and I absolutely loved it, such a rollercoaster ride. Cant wait to go again. We are so Lucky in the UK 🇬🇧 we have such amazing array of tracks.
@@ChasingTenths that was my first time there on a 600 srad it was amazing..
Agreed we are lucky I went to snetterton 300 Silverstone GP and brands hatch GP twice last year both brilliant tracks
Orton park is one that's on my list as it looks like a rollercoaster for bikes 🤗
David Stallard omggg I love that air intake growl from the Srad, it’s beautiful. Mate oulton is on my list too. Never done it but recent I watched Silvian Guintoli’s UA-cam channel and I really loved the track . You never know I might see you there as oulton doesn’t hold many Trackdays as others tracks
@@ChasingTenths i watched the silvan video he has a few very informative life at lean is very helpful aswell
i have a k4 750 now cant wait to get back on her
Really like your bike bet it's very interesting on a tight track 😲
@@ChasingTenths ua-cam.com/video/E8onTYHTbNg/v-deo.html
Have a look at this it's me at brands on my k4 what do you think? It's only a couple of laps as I forgot to turn the camera on 🤦♂️
Cadwell has the Mountain...Portimão has Everest👌
Hahahahahaha , Portimao has a few Everest’s lol
What to do if your in the wrong group. Dont book onto the wrong group
Hahaha Jake, you hit the nail on the head there mate. I think I just got intimated by the track even before I booked it which one should never do. I am a fast group rider on most European and U.K. tracks and I should have trusted my gut instinct and minimum at least booked inters . But a lesson learned & I wasn’t cocky or just rudely overtaking people to show off. All in all it was a great day and what a track , can’t wait to go there again. Lesson learnt thought lol. Thanks for watching and commenting Jake. Stay safe mate.
Your the fastest in novice lol
Exactly my point in the video, there isn't a point being fastest in novice when you clearly don't belong in the group. The whole point of the video was to show never to book yourself in a group where you are clearly faster as it ruins the day for yourself and possibly others. That's exactly the message of was trying to give because I made a mistake of booking myself in novice as it was my first time there but I was clearly faster.
Mate going into charlie 1 and 2 I'm in 5th gear your slow
Mate that was my first time there.
Offcourse some people are quick some are slow. I don’t mind if you put me in the slow category lol :)
