- We are so fortunate to have the absolute best community there is on UA-cam. We had a blast on our subscriber hike at Mt. Baldy, and we wanted to take the opportunity to spotlight some of the amazing members of this community. So today, we are taking you up Mt. Baldy and introducing you to our Live Hard x Love Hard subscribers! Sending love to all those who could not make this hike. We appreciate you all more than you know!
Thank yo so much for the hike. You guys were even more genuine and kinder in real life. Everyone in the hike was so friendly and super nice. It was a strong group. I'm just glad my heel got healthy enough to keep up. It was a beautiful day out in the mountains filled with joys and great memories. Hope you guys are enjoying the Sierra.
Thank so much for coming and bringing such great energy! No one would have even known you were hurting. We totally agree about the great memories, and will never, ever forget that beautiful time with you guys! The Sierra is great so far, and we have a couple of epic adventures we're editing now to show you guys in the next couple of weeks. ❤️

Thanks Andrea! It was really such a pleasure getting to meet some of you guys in person, and really confirmed for us what we always thought -- that our subscribers are all amazing people! Blessings to you as well. ❤️
Thank You for the opportunity to hike with you Guys it was an asum experience. Both of you are just as amazing in person as in your videos. Was a Treat, hope there is another one someday(Sufferfest Addition) We cant wait to see all your new hikes around your New Home ..... Bee Well and contiue to LH x LH
Thank you so much for coming!! I'm sure you could tell how much joy we felt being there with you guys, and that amazing energy of our whole group that day! Really looking forward to doing the subscriber sufferfest at some point too, and of course you have to come on that one!!! ❤️
I was smiling so much this entire video!!! You guys 🥹 it’s so beautiful what you have created with this community! As someone who’s been around not only since the infancy of this channel but since the beginning of A&E - im so proud of you two!!! Keep on crushing it and inspiring people to push their limits and get out there and adventure! Love you ❤
Love you Arielle! Also E caught me up on your latest -- very excited to visit you in Wales I love it there!!! ❤️--A
Hey Adam and ELise! I had a big smile on my face during this entire video! That is a memory I will always treasure. I loved the interviews because I didn't have a chance to get to know some of the folks on the hike, and so wonderful to finally meet both of you. The joy you both had doing this hike with all your new friends really shines through. And it was truly a glorious day on Baldy! Thank you thank you so much for organizing this! Looking forward to the next one!
David! Oh my gosh you totally made our day by coming out. What a pleasure it was hanging out with all of you guys, and finding out you're even more awesome in real life than online! We're really looking forward to the next one as well, and will make sure to give you guys lots of advance notice! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard You two are more awesome in real life too! I have been telling my friends about that hike. What a great memory! I hope I can go every year.
@@davidparker1746 Yes!!!
Adam and Elise, thank you for leading this home! We met so many amazing people and I loved chatting with all of them. Now I know that you are both sincerely as enthusiastic, energetic, kind and beautiful (inside and out) in person as you are on camera!
Rana that is so kind of you to say -- thank you! We absolutely loved meeting you guys, and seeing all of you have so much fun getting to know one another as well. What great memories! It was so much fun that we will for sure be doing more of these in the future. ❤️
My wife and I had a great time hiking with both of you. You are both genuine and and much taller in person than we had imagined!
Haha we had an amazing time hiking with you guys -- what a great day! That's so funny about the height thing, because pretty often when we run into fans of the channel out in the wild they are shocked by how tall I am. I look pretty short next to Adam in the videos, and then they see I'm actually 5-9 and they're like whoa! 😂 --E
This is absolutely incredible. I can imagine how those people must have felt being there and i can imagine how you guys must have felt putting it together and embracing the adventure and fun, amazing to see, awesome! Super proud of everyone 🎉
Thanks Carl! You are absolutely right about that -- it was just such a joyous and excited and comfortable vibe all at once. Truly a great day. ❤️
Yay!!! So awesome to relive the amazing day we had! So glad I was able to join and especially happy I was able to "catch up" to the group at the Notch. No wonder I fell behind - you guys were flying up and down that trail! 😅 I'm all about slow and steady. 🐢 It was awesome to chat with you both and so many of the awesome livehardlovehard fans. The day will not be soon forgotten. ♥
Tom we felt the same way! We both had a wonderful time with you guys, and were so touched that you came out on such short notice to hike with us. Your "baby" riff was definitely a highlight of the video! You guys set a great precedent, so we will for sure do more of these in the future. ❤️
I love this video so much. For the people that live in New England, my favorite hikes here are Mt Washington (Tuckerman Ravine Trail), Mt Katahdin (Abol Trail), Precipice trail (Acadia Nat. Park and Franconia Ridge(Franconia State Park)
Thanks Dan! Looking forward to taking those New England recommendations at some point! ❤️
Huntington Ravine Trail on Mt Washington is more what I think you both would like. It branches off of the main trail that I take, but is considered the most dangerous trail in the Whites.

Fantastic gesture & opportunity for the subscribers. Rare to see you two surrounded with other hikers ! :)
No surprise, even in relaxed chatty mode, Adam's Bobcat hearing alert to a possible waterfall incident.
Well done Adam, Elise & all who could take part. 😻😺 ❤
Haha apparently they were yelling "rope, rope!" but one of the guys with us thought it was "help" and Adam took off running! I think he just wanted a dip in the waterfall! 😂 Yes it was definitely a different experience being surrounded by other hikers, but very enjoyable. Despite our mutual love of being alone in nature, Adam especially is a very social person and it was a lot of fun to do a social hike like this. We will for sure do another one! ❤️ --E
Loved watching other enthusiasts like you guys ..We will miss you in LA
Thanks so much, and don't worry we will be back in the LA area plenty of times for more adventures! ❤️
Love the video!! The passion for hiking that all of you share is inspiring.
Wish you were there, Bob -- you would have loved all these guys!! ❤️
It was a really fun day out with everyone! What a great group overall and really nice to meet so many other hiking enthusiasts. And so many super hiking beasts! Adam and Elise, you guys are just as awesome and enthusiastic in person as you are on video! Thanks again for organizing a perfect day in the mountains :)
Matt it was such a great pleasure to hang out with you in person! We already felt like we knew you from your many thoughtful and insightful comments over the years, and then you were even better in real life. Already looking forward to doing this again because we had such a fantastic time with all you guys! ❤️
Such a strong group! So cool that you guys did this, and that there was such a good turnout. Best hiking channel and has been for a long time.
Thanks Colby! We were truly amazed that so many folks came out on short notice, but of course not surprised by how cool everyone was. It made us realize that pretty much everyone who subscribes to this channel would likely be friends with one another in real life, and we feel absolutely blessed to be part of this community with you guys. ❤️
So fun! Love the combined energy and positivity. 💪🏼 ❤⛰️
Thanks Lauren! It was such a fun vibe with great people, and you would for sure have loved it. For the next one, we're gonna plan it more ahead of time and convince you to come! ❤️
So nice for u guys to share some time hiking with ur subscribers. U should do this from time to time. I really enjoyed this video. ❤
Thanks Maddie we definitely will! We were truly touched that so many people came out -- some having to drive a long way -- on such short notice. Next time, we'll for sure give you guys more advance notice! ❤️
What a great gathering, wishing I was closer to San Bernie and could attend. Should you come to ORegon we can go hike the Columbia River Gorge. Love your videos. You two are great pairing.
Yes! Would love to hike the Columbia Gorge -- it is so beautiful there. I got a chance to explore it when I was growing up and living in Washington, and would love to go back! --A
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Oh, cool Adam. Cheers
Yea we crushed it! Thank you Adam and Elise and all the awesome people that came out that day! Yasha! Hit me up next time you do iron to baldy🤘🏼
Sean it was so awesome to meet and hang out with you in person, and seriously psyched that you're going to get out on some of those Yasha sufferfests. Please let us know how it goes on Iron to Baldy! ❤️
Wow, how awesome to have your subscribers to be hiking with you guys!!
That is exactly what I love about vloggers like y’all… you encounter with your people!! ❤❤
Thanks so much! It was truly joyous to see everyone having so much fun and making friends -- a great reminder of why we do this! ❤️
What a great group of people, nice hike, it looked like an amazing day, I really love you guys getting input from everyone so cool, thanks for sharing Larry Owens
Thanks Larry! Yes it was really an amazing group of people -- so diverse and interesting, and all with a great love of exploring the outdoors. It's amazing how that makes people bond together in friendship so quickly! ❤️
I always enjoyed hiking Baldy via the Ski Hut Trail and Top of the Notch restaurant when I lived in Socal. Great video. Thanks!
Yes! That is our preferred route too, and it was so much fun to do it with the whole group -- even grabbing a beer together at the Top of the Notch on the way down! ❤️
This was awesome to watch. We’ve made a few friends through here and have hiked with them over the years, but this is so cool to see so many people !
That is so great to hear you guys have made friends through here, and next time we will give a lot more notice for the subscriber hike so hopefully you can come and meet even more at that! It was really lovely to see everyone chatting away and getting to know one another the whole time. If everyone was a hiker, we'd have a whole lot less conflict and a whole lot more cooperation in the world! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard agreed! Hiking should be a job requirement for world leaders 😉. Most of our good friends are hikers. And three are in SoCal lol. One just came to NYC and we hung out, and another is doing an R2R with us. I’ll hike in my sleep 😂
What an awesome day with an awesome group. Thank you two for setting this up and always leading the way!
GW it was so great to meet you and get to know one another, and thank you also for sharing that great footage with us! Looking forward to the next one! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I knew I had 20 lbs to drop. Always good to see a video like this to know where I'm carrying it!! 🤣🤣
@@gwbaker Haha you crushed that hike and weren't even breathing hard, so you're doing just fine at the weight you're at!
Oh how I love this video and how you both included your subscribers. If ever you decided to something like this in Colorado, count me in! Love your adventurous spirit and energy.
Thanks so much -- really glad you enjoyed it! A Colorado subscriber hike will definitely happen at some point -- we're going to be doing lots and lots of Colorado climbs this year and next, so once there are enough people there who want one we will set it up! ❤️
Been hiking CO peaks and 14'ers for about 7 years...just sold house in Ohio to move to CO permanently!! We're old-er and wish we didn't wait so long, but would absolutely love to do a CO summit adventure with y'all 🤗
@@BeckyScodova Wow congratulations on the move! Ok once we really get our CO game on point we will do a group adventure there for sure! ❤
Wow!! Such a great turnout. You guys are the Mr Beasts of climbing 😁
Haha thanks Jason! We were super touched by how many people came out on short notice, and it definitely set the precedent to do more of these in the future! ❤️
Soooo jelly!! I wish I wasn't on the East Coast, or else I would've tagged along! So awesome seeing other subscribers!!
It would have been awesome to have you along on this, and you def would have loved hanging with everyone -- such a fun, sociable crew that also can really hike! ❤️
What beautiful., lovely people!
Thanks Mark -- it truly was an amazing crew of people, and so lovely to see how well everyone supported and got along with one another! ❤️
Sounds great.. Minden ,Gardnerville and Verdi are also really nice. Close to the mountains and in NV.
Just looked them up, and they all look excellent. Perfect elevation, good proximity to hiking -- very nice! Will for sure check these out. ❤️
So cool! Wish I was there too!
Oh my gosh it was so fun, and no worries there will be another opportunity in the future. This one went so well that we have to do it again! ❤️
Great meeting you guys and good luck on all your journeys in Washington :))
Thanks so much! Wonderful meeting you too, and really looking forward to getting up north and sharing the WA adventures with you -- but we have a few epic Sierra ones to show you first that we're editing now! ❤️
So nice to see you all! I wish I had been there! 😊
We wish you'd been there too, Miguel -- you would have loved it! But not to worry, there will be other ones and next time we'll give you guys more advance notice and time to plan for it! ❤️
Love this, hope another hike like this occurs.
So glad you enjoyed the vid, and yes given how fantastic this hike was we will for sure do another one -- maybe next time up in the Sierra! ❤️
Dang I missed the hike , baldy is my favorite hike, I hike usually solo, I did the cactus to cloud, San Gorgonio, and Grand Canyon .. but Baldy is my Training prep hike, I live in Diamond bar and baldy is Close by, Thanks for the all this vids and the group that made this group hike possible.
Oh my gosh so sorry we missed you on this one! But no worries, we will for sure do more subscriber hikes and next time will for sure give you guys more advance notice. Maybe up in the Sierra for the next one! ❤
I was coming down from camping on the summit when I saw you all. It was really cool meeting you. I really enjoy your videos
It was wonderful to meet you too! So glad you're enjoying the vids, and we hope to see you on lots more of these hikes in the future!! ❤️
I'm stuck with Rainier here. Only place you can get high out of heat. It is a beast though. Shockingly huge. Ginormous. It was so fun to see you with the village. people.
And once again, clear. How? T Meadow man. I like it. Can't go wrong there.
Hopefully we'll be up around Rainier in under a month, Dan! ❤️

Large group impact. I'm glad your page is strong. That's what's important.
Thank you very much! Yes it is all about the community, and this really taught us that the community here is vibrant and strong! ❤️

Michael you guys have been crushing it! So happy for you and all the adventures you've been having. And you will for sure come to the next subscriber hike! ❤️
The whole Ski Hut route that we did going up is on fire now with the Bridge Fire, including satellite hotspots right near the summit. I'm glad you guys pulled us up the mountain one last time to see it before the burn. Sad to have this wilderness scarred now.
Matt we have been following the fires from afar and it is SO sad! Baldy, Ortega Highway...so many beloved SoCal hiking areas are getting wrecked. But like you say, really grateful we got to do Baldy together before it happened. ❤️
Thanks for taking us along!
Totally our pleasure! That was really a joyous day, and one we're not ever going to forget! ❤️
BRIlliant happy group of peeps thatnk you again for my vicarious hike Adam and Alise
It was definitely our pleasure -- what a great crew, really perfectly representing the whole wonderful community here! ❤️
Very Rad video.! You guys totally Rock.!
Thanks Randy! The people who came out did a great job representing for the whole LH2 community -- they were all super fun, nice, supportive of each other, and strong hikers too! ❤️
Awesome video! You two are too cool!!! 😊 Hope you do a NorCal subscriber hike some day soon! All the best!
Thanks Paolo! This one was so great that we will definitely do another subscriber hike -- maybe splitting the difference between North and South and doing it in the Sierra! And we'll also make sure to give you guys more advance notice next time too. ❤️
ELISE and ADAM a hello from France. Here is a particular video that changes from your habits, the search for a wild nature alone early in the morning. But what a joy to see so many hikers to accompany you to the summit in a frank camaraderie. They are very happy to be able to share these good times with you. ELISE still managed to run a little on the descent, she enjoyed it. Kisses to you both. DAN
Looks like everyone had an awesome time! What a great turnout and you were rewarded with wonderful weather! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it out.
Yes it was pretty much a perfect day, and we all had a blast! Would have loved if you could have made it out, but next time we'll make sure to do it with a lot more notice to give you guys who live further away a chance to plan ahead. And there will def be a next time, because this one could not have gone better! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I'm glad to hear another one will be scheduled. I was only about 90 minutes away but my scheduled just didn't line up. I'm hoping to make the next one because that day looked epic and memorable for everyone. I will eat poptarts (including chocolate) but just no foot dangle lol
Hey guys,
I'm sure you heard about the Bridge Fire in the San Gabriels, which seared 55,000 acres from south of Iron Mountain to Wrightwood, and from Baden Powell East to Mt. Baldy Village. The destruction of so much beautiful scenery we love so dearly is beyond heartbreaking. The very afternoon it started, I was hiking a section of the PCT above Wrightwood with a friend. We saw a little plume of smoke rising near Iron Mountain, but didn't think much of it. A day or so later, that same trail was engulfed in flames.
Today I drove up to Mt. Baldy Village, and had a look around. Thankfully, the village was spared, except for a handful of homes above the west side of the road. Those bad-ass firefighting heros somehow stopped the inferno before it got to the road. The little village looks virtually the same. I had lunch at the Lodge, and it was as if nothing had happened.
Sadly, the slopes mountains directly west the village on the west side were charred, scorched, and completely burned. But a little farther up the road, I could see a number of groves of pine trees on the slopes that had miraculously survived. I don't know how, because pine trees are extremely flammable. But there were a lot, surrounded by scorched and singed brush and bushes. Heading toward Icehouse canyon, the devastation faded, and everything looked much as it always has. None of the mountains on the east side of the road were touched, and they stood there in their pristine glory, seemingly unaware of how close they came to suffering the fate of their brothers across the road.
Almost all of our beloved trails were not touched, including Ski Hut, Devil's Backbone, and all the trails heading north and east into the Cucamonga Wilderness. I was encouraged by the site of those living pine trees, that perhaps many others had survived. The brush and low lying plants come back quickly, but it can take decades for new pine trees to mature. There is still a faint pall of ash in the air, and my car had a slight dusting of it after a few hours. Hopefully soon, perhaps after it rains, it will be safe to go back to the higher realms again, and I can hardly wait. We should always cherish every moment we are in scenic wild places, and savor every glorious view.
Be well. - David
David this is a fantastic update, and I hope everyone will see it! We knew that Iron had burned, and were under the impression that Ski Hut might have burned as well. Very happy to hear it did not, and that many of the other trails we all love so much like Icehouse also survived! We are pretty devastated about Iron, which as you know was one of our all time favorite hikes along with the Iron to Baldy traverse, but also grateful for all that was saved. ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Yes, it's sad about Iron Mountain. I had assumed that the ski hut trail had burned too, and had heard that Baldy Bowl was in flames. But looking a few maps, they all show the boundary of the fire to be west of those areas. But it came scary close! The ski hut trail is closed, however. I'll give you more updates as I learn more. Take care.
This is awesome guys 😊. Hope to be a part of this next time
Thanks so much, and next time we promise to give you more advancednotice to be able to make plans for it! ❤️
Oh my gosh I'm so sad I missed this I had no idea it was happening. Hopefully you do more in SoCal!
Oh my gosh Christy we could have loved to have you there! But no worries we will for sure do this again and next time make sure to give you guys more advance notice to plan ahead for it! ❤️
What a fun bunch!
It really was, Steve -- a perfect crew on a perfect day! ❤️
Great photo. And now I know why it's called Mount Baldy.
Yep -- no trees or even much plant life up there on top! ❤️
We love you guys, be safe LH❤LH
Thank you so much! We will definitely be safe, and much love right back to you! ❤️
Great video. Where are you guys moving to?. Hopefully it's somewhere on the west coast. 😅
Thanks so much! Yes we will still be in California, but just up in the mountains somewhere. We've been trying out Bishop this month and totally love it. Next will be Tahoe, and then probably Mammoth for a month in the fall. Right now we're really enjoy being nomads so are in no hurry to pick a permanent place, but it will quite likely be one of those three eventually! ❤️
Ah rad stuff. Very cool guys!
Thanks so much! It was super fun, and the fact that everyone was so cool and got along so well really brought home for us how lucky we are to have such a great community on this channel! ❤️
Oh man I would love to hike with you guys.Nice!

Great Vídeo guys!!! Good 👍🏼 jog 👏👏🙌🙌.. I thought Mount baldy trails are closed due the Vista Fire 🔥…
Thanks very much -- yes they are all totally closed now! Luckily we managed to sneak this one in before the fire, it's just coming out late because it took us forever to edit it! ❤️
Sounds like an awesome spot! I'm with Black, where's the snack spot!
I took poptarts along on my 7 day hike through the Rockies last week and had an epic snack spot on La Coulotte Peak in your honour.

Alright, now I am really waiting for an analogous journey in the Alps!!!
Yes! After how wonderful this one was, that needs to happen! ❤️
You guys are amazing, I wish I’d had the opportunity to join. If you’re ever in AZ (Sedona, Phoenix (lots of amazing hikes there believe it or not), GC (shorter hike than R2R), would be awesome. You guys have fans I’m sure in so many other states and wow, WHAT A GREAT IDEA! Hope to meet you one day!
Thank you so much! We wish you could have been there too, but we will for sure do another of these and next time with more advance notice. Sedona might actually be a great destination, because even people who don't live there would probably love to come out for a weekend. Next time we'll plan it way ahead of time and ask you guys to suggest and maybe vote on possible locations! ❤️
How is Humphreys Peak?

great one,,,great to see mt baldy n your new friends,, why is it called baldy? how many hours ground to summitt? u really capture the energy of your group...........really right on stay safe
Thanks very much! It truly was a wonderful group, and we had an absolute blast. It's called Baldy because the summit is round and above the tree line, so when you look at it from a distance it looks totally bald up there! ❤️
Nice video. I wish I could have been there
Thanks Mike! We wish you could have been there too, and the next time we do one of these we'll make sure to give you guys more advance notice! ❤️
Oh wow - I was there 2 weeks ago or thereabouts. It was hot, hot, hot. Walked up to the restaurant and back with 20lbs of junk on my back. Brought a bunch of junk as I didn't know what I was getting into. I can imagine these guys running past me like it's nothing when its 90F+ degrees....
That's great you were able to go up -- we had heard they closed it down due to those fires! ❤️
Those people there hiking with you guys are one lucky people damn I missed out
Thank you, and don't worry there will for sure be more opportunities! This one went so well that we are definitely going to do more of them in the future, and next time with more advance notice! ❤️
Congrats on your move! You guys doing Russell or Middle Pal this summer? Looking for a third? I won't slow you down.
Matt you know us too well! We just did Russell -- it was epic, and we're putting the video of it up on Thursday! And Middle Pal is way high on our list, though before we can get to that we're heading up north to the Pacific Northwest for a month of adventuring! But Middle Pal could well happen in the fall, or at the latest next summer! ❤️
Sick, can’t wait for the vid and the beta. I’ll be out there in 2 weeks from now probably.
Those two mountains are not easy. Hot, big elevation gain. Baldy Baden.
It's true Dan, and the whole crew crushed both the climb and the descent. They definitely represented well for you guys! ❤️
What an amazing idea. You´re gonna do that, when you are back in Europe again? Let me know!!
Thanks Lothar -- yes we would love to do a Europe one, maybe even next summer, and will let you know for sure! ❤️

@@LiveHardxLoveHard thank you!! Would love to join next time ☺️
What trail is this? I'd like to do it as well, looks gorgeous, what time did you guys start/finished?
This is Mount Baldy, the Ski Hut trail up and the backbone trail down. You should definitely do it -- it is a true Southern California classic!! I think even with a lot of fun and long talk breaks the whole thing only took us about 4 or 5 hours. It was a very fit group! ❤️
Great Job!
Thanks Eric! We were super impressed with everyone -- great hikers and more important, great people! ❤️
Favorite hike Half Dome
An unimpeachable choice! Though if you're up for some suffering, we suggest then continuing on up to Cloud's Rest as well on the same day -- that double was one of our all-time favorite hikes! ❤️
I did half dome with a full patch and spent the night back 47 yrs ago when you could now you need permit no overnight camping
This was so awesome guys. I wish I could've been there. I laughed so hard with the stepping on babies part. I remember the/an episode where you said that a while back.
Haha yes Steve! We wish you could have been there too, but no worries we will most definitely do another one of these. This one was such a blast and set a really great precedent! ❤️
@LiveHardxLoveHard Yup! Fantastic. I loved your guy's energy and how excited you were with people. I may be able to join one day but I will be slow. Adam was walking sideways or backwards on a steep incline with boulders and rocks and gravel while interviewing people. Lol.
Great video like always. Does you video tape with a GoPro?
Yes we use a GoPro and an iPhone for all our adventures -- most of this one we shot with the GoPro because it works best for shots when the person holding the camera is moving. ❤️
Awesome!!
Thanks Bob! It was a wonderful day, and we were really moved by how many people showed up. Definitely something we're going to do again! ❤️
Pretty cool I didn’t know you guys were going to do that

Hi there! I watched your videos and been your subscriber for almost a year now (I think lol)! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now of your craziest adventure. I, myself, am an advance hiker. I’ve done tons of high elevated mountains. After watching this video, I was wondering if you guys are gonna do another group hike? I would love to join 😊
Thanks so much, and yes after how successful this hike was we will definitely do another one in the future. Perhaps we'll make it even a harder one somewhere up in the Sierra! And we promise we'll give you guys more advance notice the next time so you can plan ahead to join it! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard okay sweet! I’m down to join you guys on the next adventure! I’m always up for something more challenging😎
I didn’t get the notification about this event 😞😞😞😞 but right now now Baldy is closed till October so how come y’all did it???
That’s such a bummer! Are your notifications turned on? We’ve heard that this has been happening a lot even for people who have them turned on, and we have no idea why :( this was done before the fire and the closure, we’re just delayed on posting. Sad to hear that so much will be inaccessible for a while.
I thought Baldy is close due to the fires
Yes Christy, sadly the whole area is closed right now -- we were very fortunate to get this hike done just before the fires, and it took us a couple weeks to edit and post it! ❤️
Wish we could have gone. You should do this kind of thing more often. Real question: do you like to get high while you hike? It’s my favorite pre-workout “supplement” haha
We wish you could have gone too -- it was pretty magical with such a big group of like minded people all doing what we love. We'll give you guys more notice for the next one. As for "supplementing," I am big fan of that supplement (E doesn't care for it), and O love it for hanging out and especially for watching movies and live music. IO don't use it for the kind of adventures we do, though, because there's usually some degree of danger and I like to be super sharp for that. --A
Let me know when your new home will be .in a mountain town in california.yes
We will let you know for sure, David! Right now we are exploring South Lake Tahoe and loving it! ❤
Hello good morning I will have loved to be with you beautiful meet with all Pakebakers see you soon Gerard
Thanks so much, Gerard! We will definitely do more of these hikes in the future, since this one went so well. We would love to meet you on one of them! ❤️
Your name livehardlovehard is the solution at the hate on the Earth Great thanks
I thought it was closed because of the fire.
Yes the whole area is closed now! We were lucky to sneak this hike in just before the fire happened -- it took us a little while to edit the footage, which is why we only put it out on Thursday. ❤️
Jealous 🏔🏔🏔
Haha it was so fun Riaan! We will do more of these, and give you more advance notice next time! ❤️
Hope I didn't repeat-comment, cos on my side they seem to have vanished
We didn't see any other comment so they must have self-deleted somehow?Anyway, glad you saw this one -- it was a total blast and we hope to see you in person at the next one. It was a very fun and funny crew, and you would have loved it! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard The AI must've gotten onto me after I naughtily said "he crammed the highest South American peaks because he loves to crime". What a lovely crowd, all!

No stars and stripes? How boring.
Hahaha I should have at least worn the waterfall shorts! 😂 And I would have if I'd known we were going to plunge that waterfall at the end! --A
EBC doesn’t hit 20K.
Pam what is EBC? ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard somebody mentioned they were doing Everest Base Camp (EBC).
Oh you're so right -- my mistake! I must have been thinking of Camp 1, because we've been talking about trying to hike up to that either this fall or next. ❤️ --A
@@LiveHardxLoveHard no biggie. Good luck on your adventures. You guys are living the dream
@@pambrown1591 Thanks very much -- we're staying right in the heart of the Sierra right now and just loving life!
