Bungie giving their best models to their worst weapons
We should get more fusion rifles like this 😈.
Ngl this weapon was only ever good for Taniks dps which was pretty handy at the time of beyond Light since everything was just sunsetted :)
Aggressive Fusion Rifile is quite interesting and we need more
@ataraxia_warden6794 they said never again. Best you get is the plunder seasonal exotic
@@Letsanum I know that. Also, Delicate Tomb is not an aggressive frame. People often think that it is, but actually it is Rapid fire frame with the spread of aggressive frame.
Bro why is this so true
Maybe the Air Effectiveness is preventing the bolts from bending so they behave more intuitively. Or nobody expects to be jump shot with a fusion in the current state of PvP.
I like the latter more 😂
Another thing is that all of the bolts fire at once like a shotgun, instead of a really quick burst like normal fusions, so just overall better control in air and ground.
It would be cool if they made a new barrel option for fusions that did the same thing, make them shoot like a shotgun. Probably would have to decrease range and or handling tho to compensate lol
They don't die from the bolts, they have a heart attack from the shock of seeing a jumping Coriolis. That's why it performs better.
L pfp 6-4 on top
I have a friend who has the coriolis force on their main PvP build. I think it’s Eye of the Storm and Rangefinder with the targeting adjuster mod?
Just did a series of 1v1s with em yesterday. It was clapping me all the time on ground with t10 resilience. I think it’s the perks you had. I’d try recommending either sliding before you shoot for slideways, or get better perks
They made Coriolis just so Wardens law didn't feel so sad.
This is slander against two great weapons and I will not stand for it.
I will take this sitting down.
Yet Warden's law is making a comeback next season
Hopefully they update this archetype or atleast give it good pve perks cause it’s not bad in pve at all
Warden's Law is great now, and before the archetype change it was the only 120 that could still 2-tap with a rampage
I'm in Lego's discord server and they have tried to break it down mechanically to figure out how to make it work. In the end, they found out (through connections) that Coreolis Force was Bungie's attempt at making a sort of fusion/shotgun hybrid and has leftover mechanics baked-in from before the shotgun pellet spread changes. The connection said they don't plan on pursuing that idea again or touching that weapon (going off of memory so may not be exactly what they said)
They officially said they weren't attempting it again
i assumed they touched on it at least for reference with the delicate tomb, the exotic arc 3.0 fusion with a similar 'horizontal' spread
@@K41-g6pTomb stills shoots a burst of bolts, not a volley, that's why it works much better
Coriolis shooting all 7 bolts instantly without giving a chance to control it's recoil is what makes it the worst gun in the game
Sincerely the Warden's law of fusions: First of it's kind architype, and hated for it's usability.
I love it when Arc Titans using Immortal and a nade launcher t bag you for using some weapon nobody even knew existed lol
i hate arc titans
@@riothegod1831 Only other thing more infuriating is probably strand hunter but all those guys are actually good at the game.
@@wingsoficarus1139 yea strand hunters annoy me but at least they have some skill
@@wingsoficarus1139i agree same for stasis titans that don’t use hoartfrost
@@stormbreaker504 i respect like the 2 statis warlocks more tbh they a dead breed💀
I might be remembering incorrectly, but I swear there was a time when this weapon was one (if not the only) real actual choice for a void fusion due to sunsetting having recently taken effect. I remember having to use it in PvE.
It was actually made more with pve in mind because it was one of the very first few weapons that could roll with one for all
There were only 2 others: Zealot's Reward from Garden of Salvation, and Glaciocasm from Dawning, the latter of which you would have to wait a couple months for
@@Levigumba dawning was actually DIRECTLY after beyond light released so it was out fast
The correct way to use this is to be in-air (low AE) because the randomness of the inner bolts doesn't matter on a fusion and the outermost bolts can randomly move inwards.
i thought its a pve weapon ?
"A single idea can be enough to alter the spin of entire systems. I've had several of them." -Clovis Bray
In theory, this should be one of the best fusions. It fires its volley instantly, giving it a huge leg up. But as per usual, bungie went out of their way to make sure anything with a hint of potential doesnt get too strong
I hope they rework it so it fires one slug like jotun but with no tracking
@@eliaspanayi3465 That would just be a linear fusion with less range lmao
Hey, blame sweats for that. Anytime something different starts to be good in crucible, sweats get everyone upset enough that Bungie nerfs it. The natural progression of that has been Bungie releasing things very underpowered so they don't have to worry about sweats constantly flooding their replies with "nerf x or I stop playing this has been going on too long" after a week of something being out
It’s actually pretty good in PvE, out dpsing a rapid fire fusion with Vorpal
it's absolutely the weapon in this 2017 video game Density Twice
Density Twice 😂
Even HELI is saying by a Mile, and not "By a Kilometer"
Uh he’s English bro, they use miles in the UK.
it's an idiom in english, never heard by kilometer before
WTF IS A KILOMETER!! RAAAAAAHHH! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
The UK uses verbiage that’s mixed between Europe and the US, so we use things like: MPH (measurement of speed), pounds (not the currency, in measurement of babies, for example), feet (in measurement of height), etc.
@Andrew-ry9be Dude fr ive seen people use football fields and refrigerators as a unit of measurement instead of kilometers 😂😂😂
1,265 kills on my Coriolis Force and counting - vooping other Guardians and knowing they're probably scratching their heads is hilarious lol
What roll you rocking?
@@gabrieltorres6633Ive got underpressure rangefinder
I want a good one so badly but the grind for it is so mind numbing to me
@@gabrieltorres6633 Fluted Barrel, Liquid Coils, Under Pressure, Slideways and a Charge Time MW. I find range really isn't that important on it because it's more inconsistent than most fusions, so I focused more on stability and handling. The reduced charge time comes in really handy too!
@@Zevox144 Unfortunately all the Europa weapons seem to be really frustrating to grind for - took me ages to get the rolls I wanted for Coriolis Force, the pulse rifle and the sidearm. I can promise you it's worth it though!
I haven't even pressed play yet but YOU TAKE THAT BACK! This is one of my favourite FR's and always makes me chuckle when I get a kill in pvp because nobody ever expects to get killed by it. Now, after that rant I'll press play.
I want them to make more like this but give them really weird rolls, like imagine this weird frame with like trench barrel
Or timed payload
It's actually really good in pve. It has the highest damage per bolt but is held back by its subpar perk selection.
Coriolis Force does put in some decent legwork in mid-low tier content like normal raids and below as an add clear weapon. However, there's plenty of guns that outclass it so it tends to be ignored. Overall, I think it's a PvE gun.
I run this in PvP with Cerberus for fun. I might actually take it into trials sometime.
you re a crazy person
HELL YEAH
Cerberus is actually cracked
Dude got so many people 1 hit he had to make a video about how dog it was. Thats hilarious, and awesome
I swear the gun is missing a bolt in the fire spread. It has to, Bungie is trolling
Either it's intentionally meant to miss 3 bolts typically (tinfoil hat), or the aim assist has almost no bearing on bolts fired which is likely the case.
This is the most skilled fusion.
This fusion archetype could actually be really cool in pve and pvp if they just buff it
honestly something as simple as letting the bolts overpenetrate could make it great cqc add clear
I'm so against using the meta that from time to time i do use this weapon in pve hahaha I really like that it is the second highest dmg frame and the second quickest frame... Also I like to think it is the plasma cutter from Dead Space, so i think is a fun weapon haha
Same. I use it with a void build with volatile rounds got one for all/ ambitious assassination
@@theSixPathsOfTrains i have the exact same roll hahaha took me ages to get it but it’s quite fun
@@diegoorozco8659 I got it randomly lol its still sitting in the vault at the current moment
“I forget Every days the quick play grand finals” I started wheezing hahaha so true
I was using this thing in trials a little bit lol. Snagged like a 20M kill in my empowering rift
Imagine the guy teabagging you watching this video, realizing how much you struggled to get those kills
Coriolis effect: noun PHYSICS - an effect whereby a mass moving in a rotating system experiences a force (the Coriolis force ) acting perpendicular to the direction of motion and to the axis of rotation. On the earth, the effect tends to deflect moving objects to the right in the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern and is important in the formation of cyclonic weather systems.
Sorta the perfect name for the weapon.
I’m very new to the game and I swear, every time I think “I like this gun” I see a video saying how horrifyingly bad it is and when I dismantle a gun, I immediately see a vid about how OP it is
it breaks the basic rule of fusions: if you land all the bolts*, you get a kill.
*seriously, the way full dead-on splats leave a sliver of health, but... jumping in and missing half the bolts somehow lands the kill.
Careful Heli 3 vids in a week you are close to overdelivering and we don't want that
a
thank you for the shoutout again heli! i’m currently on vacation but when i get back, with this new found information i might try and get a we ran out of medals with it lol
Ignore stability, its not needed as there is no vertical spread. Instead push your range out as far as possible. Fun fusion
Coriolis is a shotgun wih a fusion range. If you keep that in mind, its actually quite unique to use.
Coriolis was actually the best fusion for pve for the first 2 season of Beyond Light. Then they buffed rapid fires and adaptives and it became pointless.
Also Stability isn't required for Coriolis, you go max range.
For those 2 seasons though it was a low key dps meta when paired with anarchy, due to his high damage and quick charge time.
Ultimately you wrong cause your trying to use a pve weapon for pvp.
As a german thanks for addressing that slides ways sound way cooler than
"Wuusch"...
Strum + Scoliosis Force vid when?!???
after other tubers , this weapon beast - destroyer- kiiling machine videos ...
this is fresh air for me. thx
Maybe it’s me but it’s one of the few fusion rifles I loved using , I found it really helpful for taking out bosses in pve when you run out of heavy , but I understand in the pvp since it’s awful , but to each there own
me and you must be the only ones that use it lol I think its pretty good in PvE. Has top tier impact but less charge time.
Honestly this and cartesian coordinate are my favourite fusion rifles
Consistency is not in bungies vocabulary
This thing was like a nice attempt at something new. I hope they fix the spread and create more weapons in it's archtype
Hierarchy of needs in PvP is actually worse than this thing imo. At least this CAN kill properly at around the 15 meter mark, it’s just extremely uncomfortable to use. Hierarchy just sucks in every single way. It’s one of the slowest ttk weapons in the game and it’s hit registration is awful
you cant forget that this gun shoots all the bolts at once rather than one after the other. this causes problems when you would least expect it
This weapon would be S tier if it wasn't so difficult to use. I used to use this on Taniks for dps early beyond light (sunsetting) and i did tons of damage. It's no Apex Predator with Reconstruction and explosive light but it was up there at the time :)
no it wasn't
@@skarsgard1342 It was. I was hitting about 62k a shot and it's a special weapon. You don't have to believe me but I'm just telling you the numbers 👍
@@skarsgard1342 its frame has the second highest dmg per shot and its also the second quickest charge time
Aggressive Frame Fusion Rifle is some weapon that packs a punch in PvE. Too bad we did not get anymore of that after Coriolis Force
@@skarsgard1342 It's always been a decent pve gun at worst, if you have a garbage roll.
What you want is really moving target rangefinder and make sure you don't sacrifice any impact, this is the most consistent role possible.
I love it benefits from less accuracy while in air
the thing i hate the most about that weapon is that it is completely abandoned. no buff, and no other weapon in the archetype.
I love the model of it and it is a cool concept, but it does have a bad perk pool and it is difficult to use. But I think it does need a bit of tuning to be a better weapon.
As a German you didnt butcher that sentence. It sounded very lovely my sweet man. Ich glaub ich spinne that u dont have a million subs because u deserve it.
Oh hell yeah! Much love, my friend! 💙
@@Heli Always my friend. I love ur Content but before all ur way of making ur Content always a smile on my face after ur vids.
You know what? I'm gonna try this!! Lmao I'm gonna absolutely try this! Gonna use Lion Rampants too!
GOOD LUCK SOLDIER!
Need some pvp lords to do some testing on this weird ass gun. Imagine a hunter flying across Widow’s Court and mapping a poor unsuspecting warlock with this thing midair.
Also I’d highly recommend countdown I’ve gotten over a dozen we rans in there the past weeks
It hits really hard in PVE.
pair it with a slickdraw + gutshot cold front and regret your decisions
As someone who went and farmed a half decent roll for this before realizing it was awful, i relate with this video on a personal level
I've definitely been sent to respawn more by kavostoves and rounding a corner to meet the stubernest of oaks more times than I've seen coriolis pop up.
I wish coriolis didn't suck, but it's so bad that they made a whole new exotic gun that is a functional, arc version of it
What if I have under pressure and rangefinder on it?
When jumping the bolts are doing this:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
All fusions have this issue. Jumping in the air massively reduces the accuracy of fusions where they basically gain shotgun spread.
This thing suffers from the fact that it was made in an era where Bungie was afraid to make good guns thankfully that era only lasted a season or two but it still hurts to see these weapons and think how much better they could have been, especially since they really good models
I don't fully agree but I will say it does need help perhaps making the spread projectile converge back in after a set range
Fun fact: it does the damage of the precision frame, but the charge time of an adaptive. Doesn't matter, its still trash.
This was a wild ride. The best way to enjoy this gun is to have someone else use it
i also found taking to the air was the best way to use it
How I feel about all fusions: not for me
“What if we took the bolt pattern and just made it vertical?!”
-Patrick Star (actual quote)
I used it once, then I said "this thing is worse than delicate tomb's hipfire!" and promptly yeeted it into the abyss.
That "Ich glaub ich spinne" Was said very good, dont worry
I used it for a second when I first got it, and I don't remember having any complaints. I may take it out for a spin.
Plus Heli is an amazing content creator Thanks! 💙🚁
aww much love, Rafy!! :)
In terms of PvE, it's absolutely better than a sniper rifle because it has good crowd damage from its projectile spread, especially in high ad density scenarios such as the Avalon exotic mission.
It's strange how they said it was a failed archetype because from season of plunder, the season pass exotic fusion rifle Delicate Tomb had two firing modes. While ADS, it behaves like any other rapid fire fusion rifle. But from the hip, it fires more bolts and all bolts deal extra damage, living up to a shotgun feel. Especially with jolt inflicted, this weapon would chunk majors' and bosses' health bars. I most likely wouldn't use it in a master raid or gm though because it's too close range and its damage output isn't worth the risk.
Ok, you are gonna think i am insane after saying this. but i actually use Coriolis force as my preferred fusion rifle. one additional thing about the gun is all the bolts fire at once, so i prefer range over stability on it. I will not say it is good, i like using the weird/bad guns like 180 hand cannons (bring back Optative bungie) i think aggressive frame fusion rifles need more than 1 total member and obviously a buff, especially for PVP. i think they keep the horizontal spread as the main downside. remove that weird little delay after you fire a burst and before your start charging again. then you can go a few different directions. side note, it often feels like the reticle on the gun is higher or lower than where the bolts actually go. I want this thing to be better and gain some kind of niche. also add a member in the other slot so i can use one and Optative.
I asked him if it was really the worst weapon or not.
Imagine saying it’s the worst weapon when it’s objectively the best all around fusion rifle frame in pve? for a balance of total damage and dps
4:45 That transition 😙👌
So, am I the only one to look at this rifle and it's spread and think " Huh, a laser shotgun" and use it as a shotgun?
I wish they fixed it. Its hipfire acuracy has so much potential
The Osha certified nailgun.
Now throw on astrocyte verse and you might have something going with the free 30 AE, that is the one time of year you play warlock
I’d primarily blame the perk selection. Give it better perks and improve the damage and it’d probably do fine.
i wouldnt be surprised if an infinite ammo cori could lose to an azimuth
I see your Coriolis Force, and raise you DARCI.
Coriolis Force is actually great because no other gun is such a sign of disrespect
bungo should do a rework of this archetype, if they just make it so that the spread is more like a shotgun this would actually be pretty good
I was wondering why this maniac had this gun on for a week straight
hell yeah
A Wings of Sacred Dawn weapon, perhaps?
fun fact, coriolis means acting perpindicular to the direction of motion
dumb question, what's the difference between this and Delicate Tomb that dropped back in plunder?
That’s why I call it scoliosis force
I literally just got this weapon and this video popped up randomly...
I want to be able to infuse white, green and blue weapons.
There is a blue sniper with snapshot sights and 70 ZOOM I love using because ever since Bungie removed scope options on snipers I'm forced to use low zoom after always maxing zoom out ever since Destiny 1... That's what I'm used too and now I can't shoot for shit unless I have my blue sniper.
how some of those clips REALLY hurt!! Yeah this has got to be the worst
There's a reason i call that fusion rifle as a nail gun -v-"
Not only annoying to get, a unique sub-archetype, and also the worst weapon in the game. Amazing
I must be the only player in this game who actually likes the Coriolis Force.
Got one that has RF and FF with liquid coils and it cooks slightly
It’s best to think of this weapon as a shotgun not a fusion.
as the one coriolis force user, i can indeed confirm that the weapon is mid at best, yet i have 4k kills on a unrelenting/thresh roll
Is this a bad time to mention this is my favorite fusion rifle in the game and I am actively making a Rain of Fire build for it
I tried to get something rolling with that gun over the first two months of beyond light... I gave up XD.
I raise you literally any blue green and gray weapon
The thing roles some good perks like slid shot where there's more range, that and it the closest thing to shotgun fusion hybrid when it come to hiting head shot.
7:23 Was that Aztecross? LMAO!!!
