For Grace Official Trailer 1 (2015) - Documentary HD
Curtis Duffy, a teen who fought and stole for the thrill, discovered his place in the kitchen after a home economics teacher nurtured his talents. After an unimaginable tragedy involving his parents, Duffy doubled down on his cooking career. Soon, his intense drive earned him accolades as one of the country's most renowned chefs. But as he began building his dream restaurant in Chicago, called Grace, Duffy found himself in another point of personal crisis: His laser focus cost him his marriage and two young daughters.
For Grace is a documentary about food, family, sacrifice, and the journey from concrete box to opening night of one of the world's most acclaimed restaurants.

This is one of those films that you think about forever after you watch it. Teachers are amazingly powerful, as are mentors. Simply perfect. And if you're a chef, or one in training, on any level, it should be required to watch as part of your culinary education!
+Mallory Durrick Merlino Well said. Couldn't agree more :)
Absolutely loved this doco. Curtis Duffy's restaurant story (from finding the location to the opening of it) mirrored his past - the struggles, the delays, the obstacles, love lost and the love and support from a select few who championed him (Michael Muser, His daughters, Ruth Snider and his colleagues and staff), whilst staying determined and fixated on living his dream. I fully recommend this to everyone and rate it a well-deserved 3 Michelin Stars 🌟🌟🌟 ps: The letter from his father was also deeply fricken moving!!!!! WATCH IT!!!!!!
+SasserN8 Gonna watch it now!!
this docu is impeccable and this why i admire Curtis Duffy as a chef...
One of the best culinary documentaries I’ve ever seen. Truly emotional on every level. After 30 years myself I feel this in every way. It’s been years since I’ve watched it, yet still feel the imprint it left on me. A must watch
an absolutely amazing documentary. yes anybody in the culinary industry must watch this. it makes us feel less lonely because there is someone out there who struggles and wins just like you.
I saw this documentary. It was very good. We all have to make a decision how we spend the heartbeats we are each given, and what we are willing to sacrifice or not. Without people like Curtis the world wouldn't progress and discover new things.
Incredible film, and a very satisfying ending.
Great inspirational film !! Totally worth watching
I'm from Italy and I'd like to watch this movie. Unfortunately, on italian Netflix it's not available. Where can I rent or buy the movie? On Amazon and Apple TV it's impossible from my country...
as a chef, I cannot wait to see this! When is it going public?!

This guy takes Charlie Trotter lawsuit money, acts like he had no idea what it was for and then thinks he's going to be welcomed back for it's closing dinner? And... his father, holding his Mother hostage, repeatedly asks to speak to him and he doesn't? What kind of person is this? A not bad film about a person I don't wish to know.
They didn't let him talk to his dad
