Forever Rain unknowingly saved me from a hard time in my life. This, and the other tracks on Mono are very self-reflective, flow of consciousness types of songs from Namjoon. It's such a healing album, and I find myself listening to it especially on rainy days, it adds to the reflective mood.

MONO, the mixtape that this song "Forever rain" is from is literally like a therapy to many ARMYs. Namjoon's voice and lyrics are so soothing and comforting. This is why people say "Therapy is expensive, MONO is free"
Not listening to RM's Mono mixtape (which "Forever Rain" is from) is a disservice to this album. Listening to it in its entirety from beginning to end is really alchemical. It has such a powerful effect on my mood, that's just me personally, but if you resonated with "Forever Rain" you will likely resonate with the rest of the mixtape. P.S. BTS also have an amazing song called "Rain" - it's an old school BTS song, I love to listen to it when I'm walking around in the rain.

This is the song that made me literally fall in love with Namjoon. The poetry, the voice, the meaning, the sound...it's like a part of his soul is on display and it feels and it looks absolutely amazing and incredibly deep.

i love namjoon man, his music, his lyrics, even the words he speaks, they truly goes straight to your soul. There's a reason we call namjoon the philosopher who raps. Namjoon speaks poetry. Even in his daily words, sometimes what he says is straight up poetry. And when he makes music, its all poetry for me. Its art; a masterpiece. I study literature, so his mono songs brings a sentimental meaning to me. Its a lot to digest. Mono album is a masterpiece, its healing, its comforting; its sad and melancholic, its atmospheric, moody and slow...But there are times when you just need those kind of music, sitting alone on the balcony at night, when its just you and the night sky, Mono is the presence of a friend, a company. I could listen to namjoon speak all day. There's comfort in his voice. Mono makes me cry a lot, but its also healing and comforting. I suggest you have a listen to his mono mixtapes, even if you dont react all of em. Lots of love. Thank you for reacting

"uhgood" from the mono is my favourite, but it's pretty much my favourite song of all BTS's songs. I call mono my medicine. I play it every time I feel down and it's just so healing. Yes, as you said, Namjoon has a very soothing voice and when he says to me with that voice "all I need is me. All you need is you" and "everything goes" it just helps so much. If I could meet him and tell him just one thing, I would love to thank him for creating mono. ❤
Joon is also known in the fandom as the ‘philosopher who raps’ he tends to be very poetic with his rap. I hope you listen to his entire mixtape Mono, the entire structure of the mixtape is a storyline depicting one coming to terms with all the negative emotions within them. Also forever rain wasn’t in any BTS projects, since this was very personal to joon and he wanted to release it as separate project :) I really enjoy your songs too they’re great!
Makes sense he's the one who wrote masterpieces like black swan and bulletproof: the eternal. His lyrics and depth are just put of this world. A true poet and a true philosopher 🌧💧
An ARMY friend of mine told me to listen to Mono mixtape when I said I enjoyed moonchild. She said the songs were soothing and therapeutic. I added all the songs in my Spotify playlist without listening to each track first. I was on my bike one day and was listening randomly on my BTS' playlist (w/o earphones...of course). It started to drizzle and forever rain started to play. It was my first time listening to this masterpiece and the drizzle made it even more remarkable. This song is really good!
Yeah Joon's voice is extremely soothing. I often go to sleep to his music because it's just that comforting. I'm always emotional listening to this song; it's strangely soothing and comforting yet sad. I love it

"Mono" is the most played Mix tape in my house. My favorite Mix tapes all come from AgustD but you just can´t listen to his stuff on daily bases, it is just too potent and too emotional, who wants to cry every day :-) Yoongi is fantastic, don´t get me wrong, but it is just too deep and heavy and needs your full mental attention:-)
RM´s Mono is a super material to listen to on all occasions. I liken it to a silky smooth cashmere sweater you put on, it warms you up but you barely notice you even wear it, because it is that light, non-invasive and comfortable to wear:-) Seoul 1hr loop is became my go to music when I need to work / study, it just boosts your concentration and mental productivity like crazy. It must be his voice and atmospheric feel to his music. Mono rules !!

I really think for maximum experience the whole album needs to be listened to in order. It’s such a journey of emotions from sad and feeling lost to acceptance and back again. It’s beautiful
what a coincidence you are reacting to it while it's raining outside your place, probably to make you feel all the emotions in that song, it's one of my fave songs, it's melancholic but the melody and lyrics is eerily beautiful (if that makes sense)

Rain and rainy days have always soothed me. It’s like they take the pressure off of accomplishing stuff. You can just be. Sunshine seems to make demands like “come outside,” “be happy,” “have fun,” “do something,” and “it’s too nice to be inside.” And if that’s not what I’m feeling, sunny days make me feel guilty for feeling what I feel. i used this MV for my final project where we had to interpret a music video into an interior design space. great song, great lyrics the other tracks are nice too like uhgood, moonchild, seoul. he has such a great introspect of life.

I don't know if he still does but Namjoon used to keep a little bundle of Army's letters in his backpack. He's read and understood the pain, the feelings we go through and knows how comforted we are by their presence in our lives. Mono to me is Namjoon's warm comforting hug, his way of saying I hear you, you are not alone. I'll hold your hand and we'll get through it together. Our sensitive, intelligent beautiful Joon knows the impact their words have on us and speaks to us through his healing music.

SUGA/Agust D/Yoongi used the line *"I live because I can't die"* a few times in his lyrics to represent depression and despair. I think RM's lines are an answer to that: "Thought I don't *live because I can't die* I'm still chained to something".

Forever IS the 7th track for Rm's playlist Mono. He used the term playlist and not mixtape because the playlist shares one story, his. So the emotion felt are connected in each song.
RM said that Forever rain IS the song that "feels like him" the most. And he would Like this song to play AT his Funeral.
RM's Seoul is my soul soothing song.. Everytime I need to collect myself, calm, or relax RM's voice in that song saves me. His singing voice just touches my soul.
