Cassata Ice Cream Recipe in Tamil | How to make Cassata Ice Cream at Home

- In this video we will see how to make cassata ice cream recipe at home. This casatta ice cream has thin cake base and three layers of ice cream and topped off with roasted nuts. I have chosen mango flavor, pistachio flavor and strawberry flavor for the ice creams for this recipe but you can use other flavors as well. I have used some crushed mango, strawberry and pistachio to add extra flavor and texture to the recipe. Because of the variety of flavors in this ice cream this is a perfect recipe for parties and celebrations.

for Ice Cream :
1 Liter Milk (4 cup)
150 g Sugar(3/4 cup)
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Corn flour + 3 tbsp Milk
2 tsp Vanilla extract
For Cake:
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp Lemon juice
1/4 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Maida
1/4 tsp baking Soda
pinch of Salt
6 inch loaf pan
350 f/175 c for 15 min or 18 min in Pressure cooker on medium heat
For Mango Ice cream
1 cup Mango
4 tbsp Sugar
yellow food color
Ice Cream
For Pista Ice cream
25 Pistachios
Green food color
Ice cream
For Strawberry Ice cream
1 cup Starwberry
4 tbsp Sugar
Pink food color
Ice cream
Cashews for garnishing
