It ties into the Limited Life lore with the family, I thought Grain and Gem are such siblings that if they had the same accent I'd have thought they were actually related irl, and if, according to the lore, the bad boys are all brothers who are cousins to the family, that would make them her sister, and they are so similar that I just like to think of them as mischivious twins. (Joel is the oldest, Grain and Gem middle, and Jimmy the youngest and, ironically, tallest sibling that they all pick on)
