John Rutter says, "How can a composer respond to a global tragedy? The first thing I wanted to do was write some music that would respond in my own way. I hope the meaning of the text will resonate in people's hearts and reach out to the people of Ukraine in their hour of need."

The Chorus Angelorum Chamber Choir is comprised of several of the area's best amateur and professional vocalists. The ensemble was formed in early 2020 with the intent of safely providing online choral concerts, both sacred and secular, during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Even as things begin to return to normal, Chorus Angelorum continues to fill a role in the Chattanooga Arts community, through both virtual and live performances.
