I want every person that Mox faces to be off tv for 6 to 9 months. then when all hope is lost and no one is around because Mox took them all out. The whole crew returns and takes out the Death Riders and Mox gets put into some new match they announce (Elimantion Chamber type match)
TV has been hit and miss but ppvs always deliver and I expect same here. Takeshita/Ricochet & Ospreay/Fletcher should be awesome and if Mox/OC can recreate the magic of their All Out match then it should deliver. I just worry about how all the matches have in built interference set up in them and hope most of them stick to in ring. They did at WrestleDream so I'm confident in that.
Fletcher should win. And Perry should lose. I can see them giving Ospreay his win back by putting Fletcher and Ospreay in the continental classic together and Ospreay beating him, leading towards Okada vs Ospreay for Worlds End in the final. It gives Ospreay another title to defend and something to do because he's clearly not gonna get involved in the Moxley stuff, but he should be doing something. You can do Kingston vs Ospreay when he's ready and some other stuff. I could see them also doing an angle where Perry costs Okada or is in the Continental Classic to try to raise his stock and he joins the death riders and takes Yuta's spot. There's gonna be a lot of realignment on who's on which side and turning people to oppose Moxley or side with him to continue to gather heat for the group. I think Perry joining would add a lot of heat to the group and would also set up some stuff where you can do Elite vs Death Riders for Anarchy in the Arena and Blood and Guts once those events roll around. I would be setting things in place and moving pieces around to book for the Texas show and trying to use the Continental Classic to sort of guide any criticism of the turns and reshuffling by going "ok, we clearly need to adjust some things but also here's some bangers on TV and you guys are getting Okada vs Ospreay on ppv so be quiet."
It was announced after we recorded this on Wednesday. Thus the cut-in and brief mention. If you want my prediction: Takeshita retains (he has the Shingo and highly likely Ishii match coming up at the Dome). Ricochet probably protected through Callis Family shenanigans. -W
For the first time in over 6 years, I don't care about a single match on the ppv. This is the weakest AEW card in history.
what?!?! this ppv is stacked woth great matches and stories. sorry to hear that man
9,000 plus tickets sold. going to be a crazy crowd and ppv. but aew always delivers on ppv
