That would be a great discussion. Sad that the position is dying, although it seems that teams are using them more than they were a couple years ago. Honestly they're more dynamic than the tight ends that replaced them, TEs only catch and block, elite FBs can rush the ball, catch the ball, block on the line AND be the lead blocker for the tailback. Way more useful if you can find a guy that can do all of that well, like Rathman back in the day.
@weegeemike I'm really curious why the concept of a slot fullback hybrid specialty player hasn't happened. There's very few and unique types that could do it, but I feel being unable to plan for where you will put and use that player in motion and what personel would be lethal
To Bill's point, the Dolphins knew almost a week before that playoff game at Arrowhead it was going to be sub-zero and should have flown to Fargo for the week.
They didn’t know because the NFL office hacked into the national weather service website and changed the weather reports to 75 and sunny, but only for Miami residents. 😂
What is holding Mahomes back? Is it split coverages? Is he locking into one receiver presnap and not going thru his progressions? Is it just lack of trust in his o line? Loss of velocity?
Im a huge SC fan therefore a huge Darnold fan but the media changed the criteria for CBPOY. U have to actually come back from an injury or something, not from being bad or irrelevant so Darnold cant win it
