Thank you for the card you send me, tried your cubed steak recipe it was sooo great, here is some great news when to the doctor on October 25 and was told that I am cancer free God is so great thank you for being here for me.
Those recipes look delicious! I printed off 2 of them to put in my recipe file. Here is a simple yet yummy dish we make using kielbasa: Chop up enough cabbage to fill your frying pan, and then lay cut up kielbasa (in 2.5" chunks) and peeled potatoes (that have been cut in half length wise)on top of the cabbage. Pour in about a cup of water and then let the pan come to a boil, then simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Season to your taste. Frankly, the kielbasa gives it tons of flavor so I don't even add salt. P.S. I love it when you act a fool--------it just shows you're having fun while cooking!
I love kielbasa! My favorite way to make it is sliced in 1/2 “ slices, then layer in an 8”x8” baking dish. Cover it with drained sauerkraut then spread spicy brown mustard over top. Bake at 350 for 30mins or browned to your liking. My daughter doesn’t like kielbasa or sauerkraut but this way she loves it and it is the only way she will eat it.
Oh Mandy, we do come for the recipes BUT it is also fun to watch you and Steven "enjoining life". Sometimes I think we all get way too serious and forget that we all deserve to have a little fun ... even when we are doing the necessities in life (cooking is definitely one of those necessities). And of course yall make us laugh with some of your antics.
Can't go wrong with the Kielbasa recipes 😋.. looks delicious. I made a sheet pan dinner last night with andouille sausage , boneless chicken, broccoli, potatoes,, zucchini, onion, bell pepper with Cajun seasoning and parsley. Boom 💥.. Done . Mandy.. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to season a dish just to realize that the seal was still on the bottle 😅😂😂. Life just happens sometimes. ❤😊
These are great. Kielbasa is very budget friendly too with our current grocery prices. The bean and rice one is how I make my red beans and rice. I just add a couple of cans of red beans and Cajun seasoning. I like to brown sliced kielbasa and add to fried potatoes and onions. You can add egg for a great breakfast bowl.
Gracie Lou needs more cheese than one sliver. Advocating for her to always get more, maybe she even needs her own cheese bag set up. I love watching you guys, such an adorable couple. You guys so much love.
I absolutely LOVE watching your cooking shows. You give us LOT'S of great recipes and LOT'S of LAUGHS !!!! First Steven Singing And you talking to your Kielbasa in the bowl ... I laughed so hard That Coffee Literally came out my nose !!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS !!! By The Way !!!! Great recipes .. Thank You
I do sausage in bbq sauce in my crockpot pot sometime I throw pineapple tid bits in with them with the juice and when it comes up to a bubble I leave the lid off to reduce the sauce
My mother and i had a cat named patches. The first chore of the day for my mother was to give patches a whole piece of sliced cheese. I beg of you on behalf of Gracie Lou. Please give her more cheese, she deserves to enjoy her later years. Love you watching you all. Thank you
That soup looks wonderful! When I want to thicken cream soups, I use roasted garlic instant mashed potatoes instead of corn starch. It adds a different layer of flavor and you can reduce the amount of added salt.
@@MandyintheMaking thank you for the suggestions. Kabasa sausage was Bogo at my grocery store, but I never cook it so this is a huge help. What is the side salad that you serve with it? Cucumber?
Awesome recipes. ❤ I love your channel..it's a combination of the entertainment and recipes. Y'all keep it so real and that's what's so nice about it. Your videos are never boring..I always enjoy any content you give.
I mentioned awhile back, that you could keep a baggie full of cheese just for Gracv in the fridge! Just add a little every time you use some. Poor beautiful baby!❤
I always use Eckrich smoked kielbasa. I slice and season using salt, pepper, garlic and onion. I brown in butter and olive oil.. Add sliced potatoes and let them brown. My families favorite meal.
I love kielbasa and sauerkraut. we also make kielbasa with peppers and onions. So delicious. I always use Hillshire Farms and I love it. Thank you for sharing these recipes.
I love the Potato Kielbasa Soup recipe + sounds so yummy and hearty. All these recipes sound like winners though. Thanks so much for giving us easy to manage meal ideas Mandy! Have a blessed week! 🙋♀️🌻🎃🍁❤️
I just made something like the 1st recipe, I used red beans and put in all kinds of spices, canjun, celery, bell peppers, onions, cumin, rosemary and I let those cook for hours in the crockpot, and then 1 hour before the bens were to be done, I put in chicken sausage 2 packsages 12 oz each and they were flavored chirozo style, and made some jasmin rice on the side and just put in what we wanted into the bowl with some home made corn bread, wooooo that was so good and we are still eating leftovers here and there
Our favorite is roasted veg with kielbasa. Just start roasting the veg mixed with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper a bit before you add the kielbasa. When done I like to top with some shredded cheese and pop back in for a couple of minutes. 400 degree oven works great for me, and use whatever veg you like.
Holmes Smokehouse is our absolute favorite affordable smoked sausage we can get at wm. Thanks for more recipes! It is good with cabbage if your trying to cut starchy carbs.
Hay Mrs. Mandy, I think you should do a video tour of your Gardyn. I would love to see what all you are growing and hear some more indepth reviews of the plants. Just an idea.
Smoked sausage is such a great cold pantry item. I always keep a package in there - it keeps a long time unopened in the fridge. The easiest way to eat it is to brown it up nice and dark in the air fryer or a skillet and wrap naan bread or roll it in a tortilla, and munch it down like a hot dog with some mustard. But like what you did today, it's also VERY versatile to make some delicious dishes. My Mom always added a whole one (or two) to the top of the roaster full of stuff cabbage and just let it "melt" down over the cabbage rolls as they baked. Excellent flavor for that!
I am new to your channel. I have a weekly Bible study at a homeless resource center in my city. I also feed an average of 20-25 patrons lunch whether or not they stay for the Bible study. So I am always looking for recipes I can cook in bulk the day before, refrigerate, reheat the day of, and keep warm in 2 crock-pots. Your recipes for kielbasa sausage, beans & rice and kielbasa sausage, potato soup would be great in bulk as they love and are so grateful for a hot home cooked meal. Thank you for sharing your recipes. Love your channel and your family ❤❤❤.
I just made this recipe, it's so good The Best Crock Pot Chicken and Gravy Recipe 1 cup chicken broth 3 tsp bouillon powder 1/2 tsp soy sauce 1 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon dried sage 1 teaspoon rosemary 1/4 cup cold water 4 Tablespoons corn starch 4 Tablespoons butter 4 to 6 frozen skinless chicken breasts mix water and cornstarch together add all ingredients except butter and chicken in crock pot mix thoroughly add frozen chicken into mixture slice butter to small pieces, placing on top of chicken cover with lid on high 2 to 3 hours, or low 5 to 6 hours (or until chicken internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.) Serve over rice or mashed potatoes can be baked in oven on 350 degrees F. for about 3 hours 😋😷💚🥔
Mandy I tried the beans, rice and kielbasa recipe today and it was a big hit. I used chilli beans made by Bush beans because I didn’t have pinto beans and I also used a mix of wild rice and jasmine rice , I also used turkey smoked kielbasa because that is what I had on hand.came out great except I had to cook it longer because of the wild rice. I also had to add more chicken stock. I used a whole container and just let it cook for another 20 or 30 minutes more but otherwise it was a big hit. Will definitely make again. Love your channel and have made many meals from your recipes.😊
I have always used Hillshire farms brand Kielbasa and had no issues with it but I grill it so maybe I just don't know the difference. I HAVE had a brand I didn't like bc it was super salty but never bought it again. Love the garden.
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. I think it's a compliment to you and Steven that I watched this whole video and I don't even eat Kielbasa. There's no chance I would ever make one of these recipes. However, if I was to see someone looking for Kielbasa recipes I would send them your way. I'm not a picky eater but I am extremely picky about meats, especially things like sausage. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your videos are more than recipes.
I bet the a fun twist to the soup would be to take an immersion blender to it to cream it up before putting the sausage back in.. if there are picky eaters in the house like mine that don’t like to find chunks of carrots and potatoes this is always a win win! Can’t wait to try it!
New subbie here. I've been watching you for a couple months now. You have been so helpful for dinner ideas!! Cooking for over 40 years and we get tired of the same thing all the time. 😂 Hubby has really appreciated coming home after work and smelling new dishes to try. He loves anything with bacon. Thank you SO much for doing these videos!! Im going to try the soup tomorrow. 💜
Y’all!! I just have to say, I truly can’t wait to get home from work on a long hard day and watch you two! I just laugh, and cry, and feel all the feels with you guys! Thanks for all the wonderful recipes and for being real ❤ love you guys!
I’ve got Cast Iron Skillet fried potatoes with Polska Kielbasa, corn, roll w/butter, cottage cheese, mac & cheese and cherry pie for Sunday dinner coming up!!!!😋
My favorite of these was the rice and beans one. Just so you know, the recipes are amazing and there are *so* many that I'm planning to try (I tried the Chicken Ramen Stir-Fry on the weekend and it is definitely, as Steven would say, "a go-backer"!). However, I also love the entertainment provided by you, Steven, Cole and Gracie Lou - that is worth its weight in gold! 😊😊
I love kielbasa. Here in TX the country dance halls served it as BBQ sandwiches, it was so good. I will definitely make the Rice & Beans recipe and the Baked BBQ Sausage too. Also, that Clemson Tiger t-shirt should be Orange. If yall are eating then Gracie should get some cheese!! She's family.
My grandma, God bless her, always used to call it "kabussey". My dad loved kielbasa and used to grill chunks of it on the grill to munch on before dinner. Also look into recipes for Haluski. Which is cabbage and noodles, but adding kielbasa to it really makes it good! Really enjoy your show and how you and your husband interact!
@@dwynn57 I remember his show! I've heard it called that too. Also, When I make Haluski with Kielbasa, my boyfriend loves to put parmesan cheese on it. And I like using Kluski noodles!
All of the recipes look delicious. I always use Holmes sausage. Try their Andouille (an-doo-ee) sausage. It is a pork sausage with garlic cajun seasoning. It has a tasty "bite" to the flavor...not too spicy hot though.😊
kielbasa or polish sausage was a go to for me when my kids were little! back then I used to just put it with green beans. But now, I like to use diced onions and peppers with garlic and potatoes as well as a half of a cabbage head. to me that is straight comfort food! I know that I burnt my middle son out on it! he does not like it now at all! I still do when I can't think of anything else to fix! thanks for sharing! xoxo
OMG, did the potato, cheddar kielbasa soup, I measured the kielbasa cheese and potatoes to what my heart said, used the heavy cream which sent it over the top. Was a big hit at my house. Will be making again. Plan on making starter packs to put in freezer to cut down prep time.
I have a pot of "something" in the crockpot right now. It started out with a bag of frozen diced chicken breast, added in a pkg of the sausage. Next I will add a bag of frozen mushrooms, season blend ( peppers and onions), some kale and some Itala Ian seasoning. And I "might" add a can of white beans and maybe a bag of tortini. This is mostly the way I cook, start out with my protein and just start grabbing out of the freezer and/or pantry.
I am watching this video this morning while the family gets ready for school. My 6 yr old son says “I want that one for dinner” (bbq sausage, Mac & chz and salad). Yay! I didn’t have anything planned yet and this looks simple, yummy and I have most everything on hand. I don’t have any kielbasa but I have frozen meatballs so I’m sure that will be a good substitute.
I come for both. The humour and the recipes. I also love seeing Gracie Lou. My cat perks up when she hears her. A little paper never hurt anyone. Keep up the super duper videos. 😉🤣
Mandy, I can’t eat rice, so I was thinking I could leave it out, reduce the liquid a bit & serve it over mashed potatoes. Do you think that would work? BTW, this is a great series of recipes!
I made the Marshmallow Pumpkin No Bake Pie from a recent video and it was over the top! Guess what I will be taking to the family Thanksgiving dinner, this year? Loved this one, we always keep smoked sausage in the freezer.
Here in south La. we use smoked sausage so I don't have a clue how kielbasa tastes. Also, my dad was a rice farmer so I only eat medium grain La. rice, although I have eaten jasmine rice with asian food. Question; were you able to tell the difference in the different brands of meat? Another question; Anyone have any ideas for recipes for one person? Thanks in advance. 👩🦳😊🙏☝
I am truly happy I found this recipe. It is delicious. For beans I added vegetarian chilli beans, seasonings, 3 packets of chicken bouillon, thyme and a little bit of Walkerswood Jamaican Jerk seasoning. I did have a problem with the food sticking to the pot (not burnt). If I cook the rice separately and then mix it will I lose the flavor?
So I just happen to have kielbasa in the fridge. Been trying to figure out what to use it for. The soup looks perfect! Haha @ Steven wanting to dive into the pot😂 Thanks for the recipes❤
Mattress Mack-Jim McInvale-is a well known furniture/businessman in Houston. He started selling furniture from a truck on the side of the road,I think. Great guy, bless him, he’s getting old like me!
I already make that first recipe of rice with beans but I also like to add sliced chorizo sausage, it is spicy and I'm sure Steven would love it. If you saute the chorizo first, the spice that comes off of it will also flavour your rice, its FAB. I also use smoked sausage and chorizo as well as chicken and shrimp in my jambalaya (one of my favourite meals). I just love it when Steven is goofing around lol. Great recipes again Mandy, thanks for sharing. xxx
Oh MY! Great meal ideas! You could also use that smoked sausage as an appetizer with toothpicks on the side! The soup looks so good too! I like my soup more on the liquid side too.
I love Hillshire Farms. It is the #1 smoked sausage. But every state has local brands. Like we have Heritage, Bar S, Butterball, Kroger brand, Zatarans, and about a dozen more. I buy both Hillshire and Johnsonville, depends on what is being cooked.
My daughter and I made your crockpot cube steak last night. We both agree we will never cook it another way. The only thing we did different was to cut up mushrooms and add them. Delicious 😋😋😋
Butterball makes a turkey sausage and kielbasa. They are delicious and both Food lion and walmart that are local to Pauline have it. I love the turkey type replacing the regular kind
The absolute best polish kielbasa Is made in Pennsylvania.Humlocks Creek Pennsylvania to be exact. The name of the butcher is Jerry's. We used to travel 3-4 hours with an ice chest just to get hundreds of dollars worth of sausage for the year.
I absolutely love your channel! We did the hashbrown with Campbell's cheddar cheese kielbasa recipe man oh man was it a hit 🔥 I'm going to try these too
I too have had my same cheap metal potato peeler for years. One day I just decided to order a new one and the first time I used it I was amazed! It peeled quickly and thoroughly in about a quarter of the time. I’d just used that old one out of habit, never realizing how dull it had become. Please everyone just spend a few dollars and get a new one. It will save you so much frustration! (My public service announcement, lol!)

I love watching you and your family. I have tried some of your recipes too. You all are precious and thank you for making these videos.
Winner winner kielbasa lunch and dinner !! 3 new recipes to try ! I'll let you know how they turn out !! Much Philly love !! Peace !!!
😂 I watch your videos for both. I love new recipes but I also love your quirky ways. Never change 😊 God Bless!
Kielbasa , rice and beans --fabulous
My grandma, God bless her, always used to call it "kabussey". My dad loved kielbasa and used to grill chunks of it on the grill to munch on before dinner. Also look into recipes for Haluski. Which is cabbage and noodles, but adding kielbasa to it really makes it good! Really enjoy your show and how you and your husband interact!
did you ever watch the frugal gourmet? he made a similar recipe called bubble and squeak!
@@dwynn57 I remember his show! I've heard it called that too. Also, When I make Haluski with Kielbasa, my boyfriend loves to put parmesan cheese on it. And I like using Kluski noodles!
All of the recipes look delicious. I always use Holmes sausage. Try their Andouille
(an-doo-ee) sausage.
I still do when I can't think of anything else to fix! thanks for sharing! xoxo
They all looked so good.
Next I will add a bag of frozen mushrooms, season blend ( peppers and onions), some kale and some Itala
Ian seasoning. And I "might" add a can of white beans and maybe a bag of tortini.
This is mostly the way I cook, start out with my protein and just start grabbing out of the freezer and/or pantry.
Decided not to add the white beans or tortellini. It was really good. Decided to name it OMGlicious soup.
Just love the commentary
I made kielbasa mac n cheese for dinner tonight!
Mandy, I can’t eat rice, so I was thinking I could leave it out, reduce the liquid a bit & serve it over mashed potatoes. Do you think that would work? BTW, this is a great series of recipes!
I think so!! :)
I made the Marshmallow Pumpkin No Bake Pie from a recent video and it was over the top! Guess what I will be taking to the family Thanksgiving dinner, this year? Loved this one, we always keep smoked sausage in the freezer.
Mandy I come for both. If it's entertaining I love to rewatch.
Boar Head has a great kelibisa. My local store has it in the specialty section. I love it for breakfast. Great video. 😊Have a great day.
You both truly making these videos so much fun
My husband was so funny when he perfectly mimicked Earl Schieb commercials.
I could tell this brand was a richer flavor. A little smokier.
Love your recipes and how funny you both are.
Definitely both. I love watching your videos. ❤❤❤❤
He’s known for doing his own commercials for his business called Gallery Furniture. Talks very fast, then ends it with “Saves you Moneyyyy!!” Bless him, he’s always doing wonderful things in the event of natural disasters and various other things where people need help.
Great video like always. God bless your family.
Yay!! That sounds great!
We did the hashbrown with Campbell's cheddar cheese kielbasa recipe man oh man was it a hit 🔥 I'm going to try these too
The soup oh my, and its so chilly here perfect!!
