Good evening, ladies!! Update for you. As of March 29, 2023, North Carolina residents can now purchase handguns without obtaining a permit from the local sheriff. Enjoyed your content and appreciate you educating law abiding citizens. Keep it up!
IM SORRY TO HAVE TO INFORM YOU OF THIS SEE IM FROM NORTH CAROLINA BUT THE WRIGHT BROTHERS WERE FROM OHIO THEY ONLY CAME TO KITTY HAWK NC BECAUSE THE WIND CONDITIONS WERE IDEAL FOR THEIR FLIGHT EXPERIMENTS THE PLANE THEY FLEW IS IN A MUSEUM IN OHIO IN THE TOWN THAT THEY WERE FROM AND BORN IN....
Fact Check ladies... The wright brothers were not born in North Carolina. Wilbur Wright was born near Millville, Indiana in 1867 and Orville was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1871.
You are wrong about carrying concealed in a vehicle. If you have a concealed carry permit you can carry concealed in or on any vehicle that you own, including cars, boars, planes, motorcycles, bicycles, hoverboards, parachutes, and any other method of travel that you can think of.
Hey Mike! Although the wording is a little confusing, the video states that, "It is unlawful to carry a concealed handgun in a vehicle, meaning a handgun cannot be seen by a person approaching and is readily available, *without a valid concealed carry permit* . Meaning that those *with* a valid permit may conceal carry within their vehicle. Hope that clears things up!
@@ConcealedCoalition Yup, and I recently did a video on my channel about carrying while having an encounter with Law Enforcement. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Hey Michael! Teflon coated bullets are indeed illegal for sale and possession in North Carolina. While there are certain exceptions, please refer to Universal Citation: NC Gen Stat § 14-34.3 14‑34.3., for further explanation.
@ElMarko-mj5ls I know some rounds like the 45-70 that people reload and hand cast their bullets they coat with a powder coat but a factory round, I'm not sure of. Just read your text better. There are rifle rounds and now some pistol round that have a red or othe colors tip it's to help with arrow dynamics and expansion. Most of my rifle rounds have it.
@@michaelhale4041 the ones I’m talking about are coated to be cleaner when you shoot your gun, I can’t remember what they’re called but they were federal rounds in 9mm or .380 I think is what I got them in
Birthplace of the Wright Brothers? They were from Ohio. Ohio is the birthplace of aviation and the bicycle shop that the Wright bros. invented the airplane. NC is "First in Flight" as they came to NC due to the terrain and winds to test fly their plane.
Accurate, at Kitty Hawk, NC, on our beautiful Outer Banks. (OBX)😉⚖️🤓👏🏽 My other half is from Ohio, & I’m happy that so many people know the history!! Be blessed.🤓🤘🏽💋🔮⚖️
We understand that gun laws change frequently and are actively researching updates for 2023/24. With 50 videos this is a large task, so bare with us plz 🙏
You being completely wrong about the birthplace of the Wright Brothers in the first ten seconds makes me think this whole video is filled with inaccuracies and shouldn’t be trusted.
With 50 videos in production at the same time (and none of us being from NC ourselves..) we hope our audience would allow for a little leniency when it comes to the fun facts stated although we try very hard I promise lol. We understand what you mean though. Give the video a watch and let us know what you think
If you have a valid concealed permit from another state like Florida, which NC recognizes through reciprocity, can you carry concealed in NC? If you become a resident of NC with a drivers license does this invalidate your FL permit even if it is not expired?
Your Florida permit is good until it expires. It`s a good idea to get the NC CCH anyway though. I had only my Arizona permit for years with my NC license, still have it, and have the NC CCH.
@@ConcealedCoalition Thank you, I am traveling to NC for a week and could not find any info on if I can keep my firearm on my person or if it had to be in the glove box or container.
@@KiefferPlant Also make sure you check the NC General Statutes (search bar is 👌🏽) for transporting firearms in personal vehicles. (If you’re not in a commercial/fleet vehicle.) If we get pulled, the best thing, if not locked in a secured box in cargo area, is to toss it up on the dash, keep your hands on the wheel, & calmly inform the approaching officer that you are legally armed. 😉 “Hey, officer, just wanna let u know that I’m legally armed & it is in a safe place HERE…” Point ahead. 😅 I’m not trying to be condescending, I promise- I have just seen some incredibly stupid things from people… Lol 😅Hope this helps if you needed it, & enjoy your trip in the Tarhell State!!🤓🙋🏻♀️😉⚖️
AND to add to Robert Kennedy, the reason NC got credit for "The First in Flight," according to what I read, was that when the message was sent back to Ohio it was not processed publically before it was made public in NC. OF course, it is true, the first flight WAS IN NC! Just NOT by North Carolians.

Very much appreciated! We'll make the edit ASAP
J is correct regarding purchasing. The CCH law has not changed though.
Hopefully soon concealed carry permits will be a thing of the past
@@MM-cp9vx soon
3:20 background check is not required to purchase from and individual, even in 2024

Well you no longer need to get a permit to buy a pistol anymore, hopefully we’re going to have constitutional carry soon

Wrong about a few things, and not just the Wright Bros.
Wright brothers weren’t born here they’re from Ohio I think, they just had their first successful flight in North Carolina
ya win some, ya lose some
Moving to NC in 3 weeks. I currently have my CA and AZ CCW, I'm good for now but I'll get my NC CCW immediately.
Good call, Always looks best when you have the actual states permit you reside in . Even in cases where your old state shares reciprocity.

I bought some red tipped federals a couple months ago, I can’t remember what they’re coated with but I thought it was Teflon or something similar

Does anyone know if it’s legal to carry 2 handguns concealed in nc? With a CCW permit of course
If you have a valid concealed permit from another state like Florida, which NC recognizes through reciprocity, can you carry concealed in NC? If you become a resident of NC with a drivers license does this invalidate your FL permit even if it is not expired?
Once you become a resident of another state, you must apply for that state resident permit. Meaning your previous resident permit will become invalid.
@@ConcealedCoalition Not true.

@@ConcealedCoalition Cite that law in NC.
Your Florida Permit is good to carry in NC. It WIL NOT become invalid even after you get an NC DL.
If you have a permit. Can the firearm be on your person in a vehicle?
Yes, but it must be concealed and out of reach of anyone who does not have a concealed carry permit

make sure your state of residency has reciprocity with NC, as well!

Interesting. Didn't know North Carolina laws were that strict.
NC definitely has a lot of nuances, but knowing more about the ins and outs of firearm laws is never a bad thing!
Wright bros. not born in NC.
I've read that if you have a drink you can open carry, but I may be wrong about that Stat.
True. Not concealed.
Not the best idea though.
