It has to be the most dangerous place possible for me. I would go crazy and spend all my money, I couldn't resistn seeing all those cool figures. It would just Thanos-snap my bank account.
youre a corporate billionaire, shouldnt be your worry... ;)
Every amount of money is spendable
Cool video and theres never toys in the southern California area because theres too many scalpers.
Yeah, I live in Santa Ana and I can’t find shit
hahah so true i cant find shit lol
but you can always find it at Frank and Son's lol...
Definitely, I don't think I've ever found anything,I have to go to collector store to get my stuff but they charge like 10 bucks more than what they sell for
Ya Boi Ant I’m in Santa Ana as well. The only times I find stuff is early in the morning but I usually have to go different target.
The Neca lady has better prices than Target or Online, I always spend a lot of money in her store. If you're lucky she might even have something that old and hard to find.
That is right, i have shop in that spot with the Neca Lady and I love her prises. 👍
Great hunt!
I always show up to Frankie's an hour before they open to get a good spot.
Exactly, if not earlier lol
Without Toybiz we would not marvel legends at all
That was me for the amazon 3 eyed Alien! Nice thanks for the shout out!
I appreciate the hell out of it! My daughter got it today and loves it! Nice bonus that it was a 3-pack and my kids each got one. Thank you so much!!!!
What is the link? My kid is looking for the same one and can't find it.

@@MCUcollector24 Thank you
They should name it Soco Scalper Central. Lol
I love toybiz marvel legends
What's with the hate
Man I would have loved to hit that place. So many goodies I would have had to have.
Another quick tip if you're planning on buying something there BRING CASH because most stores then won't charge you tax when you buy something.
They had a ton of stuff there that I would love to get!! Very cool!!
wow. I wish I had a frank and sons in my city
If I lived in Cali, I would’ve loved to have gone to this with you. Thanks for filming your adventure!
You guys in USA got everything, we here in The UK and people in Europa many times get ages for to find some figures. I saw there so many gems that I still needing in my cllection.
I’ve been there once since they reopened. I usually bring stuff to trade and there is only one guy there that is the go to for multiverse. Paul mart. I don’t think I’m the video you were there at his place. But he has them quicker than anyone and if you do the whole wave he sells for retail or only 5 above retail. Very fair guy.
I need to go to that store 🏬
I was just there like a month ago so worth it. Love it. I live like 20 minutes away
Each booth is so different with its prices. I love frank and sons but the vendors some of them are outrageous
I love that I live so close too.
All the DC multiverse figures mattel made towards the end, were peg warmers in several of my city's deparment stores (im from México)
I'm not from California. Is there only one Frank and Sons? Also, thanks for being the first UA-camr that I've ever seen to explain that Frank and Sons is really just a vendor store - like an antique mall - and not just some local mom & pop shop comic mecca.
Yes just 1
@@MCUcollector24 K. Thanks.
Cool video haven’t been there but would love to go after seen this
I go to Frank & Sons on Saturday or Sunday and I get there at 7:30am so I’m at the front of the line. Once they reopened I learned my lesson about getting there early lol
Damn when I visit my family in Chino I really need to visit this place!!! It's like going to a con every week! I would be in trouble with the wife lol
Would love to see that vid Art!!
Carlos Perez that would be a long hunt video lol!!
@@ArtGcollection I don't see how thats a bad thing..lol break it up in parts 🙃 just make sure you don't go overboard in the spending
Thanks for sharing your experience. I haven’t been there since they moved to the present location. High prices galore though there are deals to be found. Vendors are more prone to negotiate at the end of the day.
I would probably go if I was looking for an older figure that went out of production but to get new stuff and pay double triple the retail I’d be hard pressed to do that. Plus waiting in line more than 15 minutes would be way too much for me.
there's never a case you have to pay double or triple the retail on new stuff. his video just shows some of the higher priced booth that is actually there. i.e. NECA beebop and rocksteady, the booth i usually go to had it for $65. guess how much NECA wanted with their pre-order a week ago with shipping? $68. ... so it's all about knowing where to look and who to talk to.
Dream of going there!!
Yea where you got the venom its called Toy Arena they get alot of stuff from overseas
Speaking on that line , you have to get there like an hour and a half before opening time in you want to get in when the doors open.
Cool video, I've never been there. Heard the Mezco prices are crazy though.
6:20
Silver wolverine, keeping pegs warm since 2007
Sooooo many other cool marvel legends figures and chooses the lamest one lol
Well when you have them all, you get the one you don’t actually have
That regular juggernaut select is 22 bucks at big bad toy store...80?
Maybe because it’s been reissued and they haven’t adjusted their price yet
You should go on a Saturday, they should be more open. But, yeah that's the reason I don't get to see any toys on regular stores. There are vendors there that are more reasonably priced. I'd love to check out their new location but just can't risk it.
What is so risky? New location is so much better, better parking, better ac, better food it's awesome
When I first began collecting legends I was told about Frank and Sons. I actually got very lucky with the Apocalypse wave. Main Vendor must've been on lunch and his partner said he would let the wave go for ,160. I ran to the atm with my daughter with me. Main vendor had already gotten back. I told him the price I was told and he called his partner, hung up and began bagging the legends. Same time was looking up each figure to see what they went for. He was not happy. I'm surprised he didn't change the price on me.
I stand corrected its home of the scalpers
Unless u run into an ididot who dosent k ow squat about figures lol
So Frank and Sons moved to an entirely new location or is it multiple locations with the OG place still being active?
They moved to the old Sam's club building they closed down the other place.
Yeah the original spot off Fairview was a either an oven in the summer or an icebox in the winter, but it was actually a little bigger and I miss that spot regardless.
tricks to Frank & Son's if you are there for the first time: walk all the isles first and make mental note of what you want to get. some stuff definitely a lot of booth has them, even older stuff. And don't be afraid to haggle a little. lastly, stick with few vendors and get to know them, once they remember you most of the vendors is more than willing to negotiate and help you find what you are looking for. also remember, having a booth inside Frank and Son's isn't cheap, them moving to the new location (the old Sam's club) with a/c isn't cheap. people complains about "home of the scalpers" simply has no clue on running a business that ONLY operates 3 days a week. ... the notion of the vendors go out and scalp is lmao... a lot of these vendors have actual connection with toy companies that gets them by cases. yes there are some exclusive stuff you can only get from certain places, but do you think selling target exclusive power rangers, walmart exclusive mcf spawn for $25 is scalping ? it simply means they didn't need to go out and scalp, but have connections with distributors.
Slowly with the turns of the camera!
,
after half a video, I'm more dizzy
than on the merry-go-round!
Man!
My bad lol
Hunt videos aren’t normally my thing
@@MCUcollector24 Hahaha, are you still dizzy too?
@@MCUcollector24 hahaha, told you!
You see sharks of collectors
I Never Been Frank & Son's Collectible Show
Sad you didn’t stop by my booth to say hi ... Maybe next time
Ah man! Which booth was yours? I didn’t do video for all the ones I went to
MCUcollector24 I’m in Booth 918 end of the line of all the booths at Frank N Son lol . Cybertron Park ... I’m the transformer Guy ( that’s what the kids all call me ) lol
Next time for sure!
Oh man! I wish I could be there!! I hsm coronavirus.
Did you happen to check the prices on the Hot Toys brand collectibles? Was curious how much more expensive are they vs online?
Didnt check but don’t really expect to find prices much lower than online
So happy to see you there walking around and see some good stuff, even aome of it are overprice but seems not too much. In my country, a loose old toy biz or hasbro marvel legends could be around $25 - 40. A brand new mcf spawn is $65 - 80. Sucks.🙄
Last time I went when the old location was there I remember there was no parking either now with pandemic I guess it’s totally different.
Anyone have the barcode for Venomized Cap?
Now i know where u are 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What other Frank and Sons locations are there?
There aren’t any other locations
MCUcollector24 rats! There’s so many figures I missed that I need to get!
How did you get apocalypse early I really want him
This was a great video MCU. I've seen footy of Franks before and my jaw is consistently on the floor. Just the massive amount.... of my childhood was in that place good god!! All the potential. All the same I can't blame you for not going back. I hear shit in Cali is too far apart plus not post Covid... that line was insane. But if I'm out in Cali for any reason, yeah I'm gonna have to stop inside. It is GLORIOUS.
Does anyone know if blued eyed or brown eyed beachhead is worth more ?
I wish we had a frank and sons here on maui!! Thats awesome to see all the figures that they got!! I hope my walmart gets that venomized cap but not getting my hopes up high!! Great video bro!!
What’s the difference between scalpers and some of those vendors. Like that beach head for 50 bucks?? Isn’t that scalping
There is no difference
MCUcollector24 damn bummer was looking forward to hitting up Frank’s and sons but not with those prices
Do you recall what they were asking for the Iron Man Silver Centurion?
$50
some other booths that have it were $35-40. Toy Arena is the more expensive place for ML, but if you want Gunpla it's the place to go.
MCUs reaction to the closed PR booth..Power Rangers is not my thing, but I wont speak ill of it here ;) (not that I have)
Hey mcucollector do you recommend this place in LA?
Frank and sons? Sure
Okay. Thank you
Isn't it funny how ppl swear by Frank and Sons, but are they not scalpers as well? Then not only are they charging scalper prices, but they're taxing as well??? Lol...smh
You hit the nail right on the head. Then again, if it weren't for the "scalpers" the hobby wouldn't move at all.
most of the vendors don't charge tax unless you pay with credit cards. plus the fact that most of the ML are around $20-25 which is retail+tax. hard to get mcf mk11 spawn? most vendor have them for $25. hard to find Neca TMNT like beebop and rocksteady or metal head, some booths has it for $65 which retail+tax you are paying nearly $55 already. The venomized cap he got for example that came from overseas market which means they had to pay nearly retail overseas AND pay import cost, so you are complaining about paying $40 plus tax when they are only making at most $5-10.
@@FrankW1029 2 things
1) Your accusations of complaints are against the wrong person
2) You really missed the overall theme of my comment
Semi Scalpers. It's really paying for the convenience all at one spot. They also have to pay the vendor fees to keep the stalls open. One vendor I go to there is Toy Arena. I check out what they have, compare it with their site, then go to their warehouse down the street. The prices are closer to retail for a lot of hard to find things. It's more of a flea market with people aware of what the market rate is.
Did they have the worthy cap legends figure
Not that I saw anywhere
MCUcollector24 boooooooo! Is there another frank and sons location in the east coast area?
Nope just the one
MCUcollector24 that sucks! I’ve never seen so many Legends figures!!!
Uhg toybiz I’m not a big fan as he says that turns around then walks over to toybiz😂😂
I live a few mins from Frank and sons and I only use frank and sons as a last resort for figures. To over priced but you know your find something you need.
Maybe show or say the store names?
Part of the problem was that I didn’t actually know where I was for a lot of these stores since I was traveling for work and in some cases I did.
Some of those prices are scalper prices for sure. I got that Boba Fett for $24 here in Vegas at a Toy Collector store 3 days ago, that F & S was selling for $50. Also I found Beachhead here at Target and paid normal retail prices. They wanted $40? I know it sucks to find sone of these guys but have some patience and try not to pay scalpers and their BS prices. Easier said than done though, I know. Good luck hunting everyone.
No way $120 for baroness and coil cycle! I just saw one 2 days ago at one of my Targets and passed on it.
Never pass up on a g.i joe especially her right now..
some booths has stupid pricing, but mostly it is meant to be haggled.
Carlos Perez yeah I’m kicking my self right now. I also passed on the age of apocalypse Apocalypse the week before at the same store. It’s hard right now for me. No job and running out of money so I have to pass on things I would normally pick up.
FrankW1029 I did not know that. If I go back i’ll be sure to do that.
@@superyoyo90 yea, just make sure to walk around first check all the prices of the same figures you want to get. just make sure to bargain with the intend to actually picking it up. most of the vendors are more than willing to do deals and pay cash to avoid taxes.
Bruh I went yesterday and I couldn’t find the venomize captain America
Maybe they sold them all
Happy I don’t got one near me cause I’d be poor
Not a big fan of toy biz? They started all this 6in scale highly articulated stuff ur enjoying now
I know that, doesn’t change how I feel about them lol. I get it they kicked things off and we wouldn’t have the legends we have now without them, but toys are always evolving
The leather jacket wolvie is peg warming at my walmart
Damn, and nowhere to be found here lol
what store is that and is it in buffalo?
No. Frank and son in SoCal
MCUcollector24 ok
Where is this place because is nice in California not is stored
city of industry
Nothing like home of the scalpers!!. Half those figures can ve flund online for half there asking priceses its just stupid
Nooooooo!
yeah, I refuse to buy figures from vendors that just scalped from a store
