I think David was able to intercede at that level cause it was his son. But didn’t felt that way when betraying Uriah. It was different and it was I guess too late after all. David understood exactly what it feels like to betray and be betrayed.
Interestingly, he didn’t betray Saul (one that God ended up rejecting), because he didn’t dare to touch an anointed one, but did betray Uriah (an honorable guy in God’s eyes) an innocent man that was willing and did put his life on the line for his king, David himself.
Uriah is even mentioned in the New Testament to me God keep his honored and included him in Jesus’s lineage.
We are being tested at all times and we have to do what’s right in God’s eyes, with good and bad people. Vengeance is the Lord’s.
I had betrayers in my family! Always have had! They are deceivers and full of jealousy! I feel this happens to me because like you said my tormentors keep me closer to God as I have to keep leaning on God, trust in God more, run to God! I never get comfortable with the world or deceivers! I keep separate! I am seen as completely different from others! I praise God I am separated! I luv this word! Thankyou so much! Bless you both mighty!

Yeah in January the Lord told me to walk away from a friendship of over 10 years. I noticed something and finally God told me. It’s been around 6 months and judgement is been pronounced over this person because they are sending spiritual attacks and don’t want to stop. I honestly tired of it. I have had compassion, mercy and anger. I just want that person to come to their right sense.
