Finn tries his best to explain to Steffy why he allowed Sheila to hold Hayes. Back at her hotel, Sheila’s frustration at Steffy is palpable. Jack arrives, reminding Sheila he fulfilled his end of the deal and reminding her that now she needs to fulfill hers and leave town. Sheila replies that she’s in no hurry to go anywhere and doubles down on her blackmail of Jack. Paris and Zende playfully flirt and share a kiss. He surprises her by asking her to move in with him. Paris replies that she likes living with Finn and Steffy. Zende picks up on Paris’s attachment to Steffy, and especially Finn. He doesn’t say anything but gives Paris another kiss. Finn begs Steffy to understand that he would never have allowed Sheila to hurt Hayes. Steffy is angry that Finn has put her in this position. Finn admits he wanted to see Sheila one more time. Finn apologizes to Steffy and asks her to believe there will be no more Sheila in their lives. Despite their intense love for each other, Finn and Steffy are at an impasse. Steffy asks Finn to sleep in the guest house.
