I believe Kandi 1000 percent. Here’s the thing, Latocha treated the group like they were disposable (including her own sister). Her solo projects never really took off because of her nasty attitude. Kandi has a great heart, that’s why doors keep opening up for her.
Edit: I just wanted to add that yes I believe Kandi should stop talking about this and move on. Everyone in the group has their own perspective according to their personal experience.
And now her career is Poof gone in the wind.
to dispose of something is to throw it away. Like Kandi tossed Xscape out and went solo in 98’ that’s why she isn’t an official member right now on paper. Like Kandi and Tiny tried to toss Tamika out the group because she got pregnant but LaTocha saved Tamika by saying she would quit the group if they did kick her out. Like all three of them are doing to LaTocha right now. they all had solo projects albums and singles and it never went anywhere for any of them. Kandi money came from writing, just like Tiny’s and not their solo projects.
@@Missnananewbern Technically, none of them are “official” Xscape except Tamika & Latocha because they own the actual trademark to the group name/entity. Why would they want to dispose of Tamika, when she just said Tiny also got pregnant? Also, disposable is the right word to still use. Latocha ventured on multiple solo projects behind her groups’ back and only wanted to be “involved” when it was convenient for her. As of now, they didn’t kick her out. To clarify, she kicked herself out, because she wants to focus on a gospel solo project that has flopped and is not doing well.

You can tell when someone is telling the truth. It’s the little details they remember & the changes in emotion with their tone. It’s not loud & angry or bitter the entire time. It fluctuates from happy, to sad, to confused etc.

The woman does have a voice though and I would never downplay her or her relevance to the group as you hear her voice on every song. They asked for the truth and she gave them the truth. Secondarily, LaTocha is the only selfish one in this group, as the decades and tv show moments have shown us i.e. her stealing her own sisters money and working with her husband to get kickbacks. Kandi isn't a victim, she is the most successful one in the group and doesn't need to pull a victim card.

I hope Kandi feels vindicated. Everything she has been consistently saying for 20 years was proven true on the SWV/Xscape reality show. For the longest, I think most people thought she was the problem, not Latocha.
Kandi and Tiny still were very shady toward the sisters over the years too. Let's be clear. They wanted Tamika out when she was pregnant. They also didn't want to participate for things like the So So Def tribute concert and the sister had to do it themselves. People are revisionist AF when it comes to Kandi and Tiny because they now associate them with their reality shows and forget that these were all young girls being katty back in the day. And we all have heard the rumors of Kandi's escapades from Tamika's own mouth.
It's funny how Tamika takes it back when its the only option she now has to make money with them.

They All were the problem!! Kandi ain't no Angel, and neither is Tiny or Tamika!! The Truth is, Kandi and Latocha are both Strong, Alpha females and that's why they always bumped heads the most. Tiny and Tamika are more flexible and will just go along with whatever because they just mainly care about getting that check. Kandi is a control freak and very bossy, and Latocha is the only one who will stand up to Kandi, and that's probably why Kandi don't like Latocha. Latocha haven't done anything major to Kandi or Tiny, and she has always had Tamika's back in the group. Latocha is not a mean person, or toxic. Her quiet, introverted nature, and resting B face just comes across like she is. Everyone who has met Latocha in person says she is a sweetheart, and I believe that. Honestly, Tamika is the one who seems mean, shady and very passive aggressive, but she effectively hides it behind that big smile and her "Hey y'all Hey" personality.

It’s nothing new people, it’s Uncensored so the point of the show is to be honest and real about your life story.

Y'all can dislike Kandi, Tiny, and Tamika, but critical thinking from Unsung, 3 Reality Shows, multiple interviews, should tell you that LaTocha was a huge source of the group's issues.
Tocha is like another person that I know. I help him set up his business with the assistance of my friends for we knew the Industry, he did not. Yes, he paid us. However, I was Marketing, knew the business and wrote the Plans for Expansion. Once we did everything, he let the other two go because the State change some criteria and you had to have a degree for their jobs or license. I hung in there with him for over 7 years. We implemented everything, relocated, added programs, etc. Remember, I was his Money maker. However, he chose someone else as his Partner. I was shocked. I gracefully moved on. Guess what, people were calling me, within six months, after I left, saying he lost five programs, had to close two locations, did not have any Clients, etc. He asked me back and I kindly turned down his Offer. Sometimes people think they do not need you once you escalated them, especially if they hold the Upper Hand.

Why do they keep asking Kandi stuff about this? Like she keeps repeating the same thing. She should say she will accept the interview as long as they don’t ask anything about the demise of Xscape. As long as tocha leave them alone this time it shouldn’t be a problem
I won't justify what Tocha said. However, I will say that I can see where she's coming from. Being the leader of the group, then signing a record deal and having Kandi sing lead. Toch was very supportive of Kandi singing lead. In nearly all of their early performances you hear Tocha always saying "sing Kandi" and smiling. So why wasn't the same love received when the producers wanted Tocha to sing lead? Instead, Kandi started complaining and tried using her sex to get favoritism, but that didn't work. At this point Tiny started siding with Kandi on everything, as Kandi told Tiny, and I quote " You need to start having my back, because they are sisters, and they always going to take up for each other" so even if Tiny didn't agree with what Kandi did, she sided with Kandi. Then there's Tameka. Even though she loves Tocha, and had her sister's back, she was close to Kandi, and Tocha would see them talking and joking around as if what Kandi was doing behind Tocha's back wasn't that important. Nobody really considered how Tocha felt when she was moved to the front. Kandi hated not being in the spotlight, so it really hurt her ego to be pushed to the back. It wouldn't have mattered who it was. It could have been Tameka or Tiny being pushed lead, and Kandi still would have complained. Tocha just so happened to take the heat because she was being pushed to sing lead. Kandi never looks at things from anyone else's perspective, just hers. She's is such a selfish person.
@andipurpose7121 Kandi is the worst singer of them all. When the 4 of them performed Kandi ALWAYS had the mean look whenever LaTocha led songs and performed. Now that Tocha is not with them Kandi is taking over. She's got center spot, smiling, talking to the crowd, etc. which she/they should do. But why didn't she support LaTocha when she was singing and performing. Kandi got Tameka and Tiny just where she wants them....her backup singers. Here me, the 3 of them will not last. Tameka and Tiny are going to get tired of Kandi.

THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER: LaTocha should have DEFINITELY had a solo career many times over. She was hated on and blackballed and was considered the FAT GIRL of the group. It was not easy for Tocha despite the fact that she has THE BEST VOICE of the group. If people remove their biases from reality tv about how they feel about these women, then they should be able to admit that as a DARK SKINNED "BIG GIRL" LaTocha had an uphill battle and if these women had supported their sister it would've been much better.
You know she the smallest of the group now, so what’s the excuse. Had Tocha moved differently and not treated them like crap they would have supported her. Real successful people are not that petty because their fulfilled and happy.

I have seen multiple interviews on less popular platforms where Latocha drags Kandi for filth. However, Latocha is a known liar with a controlling husband, so no reputable platforms want to interview her, or broadcast her lies. She definitely went on a Kandi Buruss smear campaign. If you all didn't see the interviews, just say that.
Not, no such thing, Tocha haven’t did no interviews since they reality show, and she was trying to defend herself to then, but went under attack mode, by all yall that think y’all know everything, as if y’all know her personally.

Where I do fault him is for using her and not being honest with how he was handling things businesswise.
