I also came here after Jodan Peterson mentioned these guys on JRE. Definitely did not disappoint 👏. He definitely is riding right at the edge of where order meets chaos!
I stumbled upon Robert's Western World when I went to Nashville on spring break in college. The same thing happened to me as it did to Jordan Peterson. I was completely amazed and enthralled by Luke and the band. I was on an ethereal trip with Jimmy Page and Johnny Cash, that I never wanted to end. I've drove down to Nashville 3 times since just to see these guys! Luke's super nice and pleasant if you get a chance to talk to him.
I've been playing guitar since 1963....... I'll now add "21 year old Luke McQueary" to the long list of guitarists who make me question my very existence.
Dig into older videos of the Don Kelly band there, and you find other great guitar slinger that he helped get established. From JD Simo to Guthrie Trapp, Brent Mason, Daniel Donato, Johnny Hiland are among his guitar players over the years. He hired Luke to play when he was just 16. Luke was that good.
Holy shit!!! Why haven't I heard of these guys before? And all over the radio are famous musicians who are just crap. These guys NEED to be hugely famous and successful. My life has been enhanced by hearing this music and watching this performance. Thank you Dr Peterson and thank you Kelley's Heroes! LOL!!! 21 years old?!?!?! Somehow Hendrix and SRV were both reincarnated and became one dude. As great as he is at guitar you can tell it's the bass player who has all the personality in that band. Hahaha!!!
Every time I go to Broadway I have to go to and look for this band. They are amazing! The talent that the bass player and the show that he gives with his instrument is on a different level, Luke is one of the best guitar players nationwide and the help of their talented drummer they are definitely the best band around Broadway. You guys are Fenomenal!!!!
Luke's sacrifice of his hair at the altar of the guitar gods seems to have been a worthwhile endeavor. His playing has grown exponentially. What lucky guys to have found each other and get to have this much fun FOR A DAY JOB!
Jordan Peterson brought me here, he was talking about music and recently seen a band called Kelley Heroes and the guitar player🎸 Saying he was best he ever seen..Now I know why.. OMG 😯👍🏻👌🏻
Same big follower of JRE and Jordan Peterson brought me to you guys. cheers and keep it up! I also think i saw you guys on stage in Nashville last year.
Guthrie is definitely excellent. As are Daniel Donato, Johnny Hiland, Brent Mason and JD Simo. They all played with Don Kelly at one time or another. Luke was the last one to be mentored by Don. He started playing at Robert's when he was 16.
JP is a bit of an emotional wreck sometimes. I was pretty mesmerised by this performance, and Buckethead is one of my favourites. Gonna go listen to Buildor ;)
I was well aware of them before Peterson and Rogan. I watched his mentor, Don Kelly for years, he's ALWAYS had an eye and ear for super talented guitar players. The owner of Robert's is a great singer as well. He fronts Brazilbilly, that I first saw there 25 years ago. He hired Don and the rest is history.
Joe just put a bunch of interviews that were Spotify only up on his UA-cam channel. Including the one where Jordan mentions these guys. Hopefully another viewer bump.
Just wanted to tell you guys (and girls), there's the WHOLE PLAYLIST of Kelley's Heroes on this channel! Searching on youtube for their songs wasn't helping very much.
I see many are here courtesy of JRE and JP. I'm here from Justin Hawkins review of what JP had to say concerning nihilism and the possibility music has to correct that viewpoint. I'm just happy we all ended up here, on the edge of order and chaos. Can we talk about the drummer? damn
The emergency vehicles driving by at 5:27 came to the area because people reported the smell of something burning!? LOL. Also here after hearing these guys on the JRE podcast. Great show.
Just look at him... up there with his guitar, dancing on the edge of chaos and order.
Ha, I see what you did there...
Haha… elegant
Love that comment
@@cathywhitney7075 It's Jordan Peterson's from the podcast... lol
Yup lol
I'm another Jordan Peterson and JRE listener - and now a new fan of Kelly's Heroes. You guys are going to blow up!
Let's see if I cry too.

I heard punk, country, bossa nova, jazz, rock, and blues riffs in one of the best songs ever made

I kid you not I’m crying. Literal tears, man you’re a guitar god. Enjoy the big leagues my friend.
Came here from JRE and Jordan Peterson. Man y’all really felt that. Thank you for showing us your talent. Amazing!
Luke's sacrifice of his hair at the altar of the guitar gods seems to have been a worthwhile endeavor. His playing has grown exponentially. What lucky guys to have found each other and get to have this much fun FOR A DAY JOB!
He should defintely grow it back.
He looled fabulous with long hair, perfection

Fantastic musicians! We went to Roberts in Nashville tonight and they “rocked”!
My wife and I were in Nashville for a few days this winter and we were at this spot every night. These dudes are badass!

Thanks Jordan for suggesting this.
My new favourite band. This is what I hear in my head when Jamming. Wish I was there.
Saw them live last night. One the the best live performances I've ever seen.
Like so many others I found this piece of heaven after Jordan Peterson talked about it on JRE. Just smiling through the whole thing...
Almost went home and I heard Kelly's starting in the next bar. Est day of my life. Got the CD offcourse!
Haha I'm also a Jordan Peterson and JRE fan. Now because of both of them I'm now a Kelly's Heroes fan. Thanks for wicked tunes!
Thanks Jordan and JRE. MUST see this group live.

"Doing exactly what surfers do" - Jordan Peterson

The man can play that's for sure. Hell, they are all excellent.
I discovered Luke because of Guthrie Trapp, What a fabulous player this kid is. FANTASTIC!!
Guthrie is definitely excellent. As are Daniel Donato, Johnny Hiland, Brent Mason and JD Simo. They all played with Don Kelly at one time or another. Luke was the last one to be mentored by Don. He started playing at Robert's when he was 16.
OH WOW!! Beautiful!
These guys where jamming when we strolled in, crazy good!
This is life altering. Simply amazing.
Saw these guys live last night, what a great show!
Jordan Peterson, thanks for the help finding this awesome video.
I’m here because of Joe Rogan. Agreed! Get ready to ride the wave! It’s gonna be gnarly
We need Kelley's Heroes to play the halftime show next year at the Superbowl. Show the folks what real entertainment and real talent are.
There are not many people that can make Jordan Peterson get visibly emotional, but you guys did it.
JP get visibly emotional when he ties his shoes…wtf are you talking about?
Peterson is like the guy in American Beauty who cries over a plastic bag in the wind.
he's a benzo addict in a very unstable emotional state lol
fantastic musicianship !
He's like the Yngwie of rockabilly. Love it.
That dude made Jordan Peterson cry on Joe Rogan. Im not feeling the same way but Buckethead makes me piss myself and forget where i am for 20 minutes.
Clean your room, bucko…
Yngwie once made me pour orange juice on my corn flakes and and think my dad was a fish.
I rewinded to hear the band and song name, paused then came here to hear these guys after seeing how emotional he got talking about it.
JP is a bit of an emotional wreck sometimes. I was pretty mesmerised by this performance, and Buckethead is one of my favourites. Gonna go listen to Buildor ;)
thx to JRP and JP for leading me here, amazing.

This very reminiscent of the Aristocrats' take on the Nashville sound. Good stuff. Nice sound, solid band and great showmanship.
