Funny thing is Paarthurnax means in the Dragon language "Overlord, Ambition, Cruelty"... and he's the nice dragon. But he's not the only one. Odahviing and Durnehviir are also cool. But yes, everyone hates the Blades for this.
9:41 I’m DYING!! You could spend more than 2gold to buy the lock picks needed for him to open that dang chest. I knew there wasn’t going to be anything in there hahahahahh that’s awesome.
Dude, I’m loving watching these videos. 😄 Skyrim took over my life for like all of 2012… one of my favorite games ever. Great thing is: you’ve barely scratched the surface! There’s so much content. The main story, civil war, Dawnguard, Dragonborn DLC, the list goes on… As long as you keep playing, I’ll keep watching! 😆⚔️🤘🏻
Think of the Thalmor as the Nazi Party, if the German Empire had settled the terms ending WW2 to their liking (White Gold Concordat). Also, I love your editing!
That line when you’re talking to Ulfric Stormcloak - “Politics be damned - Alduin has returned!” - I always imagine the player character shouting at him, and it coming out like a dragon shout and at least blowing him back a few meters. 😂
@0:10 Both Khajiit, and to a lesser extent Argonians, gain bonus damage when fighting unarmed, due to their natural claws. There also is a heavy armor perk, and enchanted equipment to increase unarmed damage, which can create interesting early gameplay if you chose that route, easily outdamaging most weapons you find.
The beacon of nemeria quest will get a sword with good enchantment, cant remember if its one of the ones that is a higher level depending on char level. It may have tied to your level when you fjnd the beacon or complete the quest.
SPOILER FOR SAVING DADDY DRAGON if you complete the whole greybeard dragonborn quest line first , Paarthurnax actually goes home to the dovah realm, completing the blades quest without killing him
Blades in skyrim dont have a two handed katana Blades in oblivion had the dai katana Make the blades GREAT AGAIN YOU KNOW WHAT MAKE THE BLADES AKAVIR AGAIN
Ulfric actually isn't racist. Quite a few Altmer live and own businesses in Windhelm with zero issue from the authorities. He does hate the Thalmor, though, because they are literally elven supremacists (the actual racists) who have invaded Skyrim with the Empire's aid to suss out and eradicate the worship of Talos, a Nordic man who ascended to divinity, an idea which they, being elves, find detestable. And what's more, Ulfric has a special hatred for Elenwen personally because, after he was captured during the Great War, she was his interrogator/torturer.
@@HickoryDickory86 No, you're totally right, Ulfric isn't racist! Treating everyone who isn't a Nord as a second class citizen at best, segregating them from the rest of the population and making them live in a ghetto in the gutter is totally normal! You've gotta get off that Moon Sugar, bro...
@@alkoyyy It's almost like you didn't read my post beyond the first sentence at all. Again, _Altmer_ (you know, the race that makes up the Thalmor; the race that Ulfric would despise above all others if he were truly racist) live and run businesses in Windhelm with no issue at all. They are Niranye (stall in the market), Nurelion (The White Phial), and Ulundil and Arivanya (Windhelm Stables). There are also Imperials Calixto and Viola who live in Windhelm. Belyn Hlaalu is a Dunmer who owns a farm in Eastmarch, just outside of Windhelm, and it is worked not by him but by a Nord. (Read that again: A Nord is employed for manual labor by a Dunmer in supposedly uber-racist Eastmarch.) The Dunmer refugees who fled from Morrowind to Skyrim were given full political autonomy 180 years prior to the events of _Skyrim._ Indeed, the whole of the Gray Quarter was emptied of its native Nord residents and given to the refugees free of charge, and was put entirely in their control for them to do with as they pleased. And the Argonians are relatively recent arrivals and are being kept out of Windhelm not "bEcAuSe mUh RaCiSmz" but for their own safety. Again, Windhelm has a heavy Dunmer population, and in case you either forgot or never knew, the Dunmer were infamous for enslaving other races, especially the Argonians; and in an act of vengeance, the Argonians launched a bloody, devastating invasion of Morrowind immediately after the Red Year, when the Dunmer of Morrowind were at their absolute lowest. Also, let's not forget about Aventus. He's a Nord child whose sole surviving parent died, which led to him being shipped off to the orphanage in Riften. And why? Because Windhelm is the capital of Stormcloak Skyrim and is currently waging a war for independence against the Empire. It has no resources for the support of orphans, and what's left of its city guard cannot be spared to investigate the murders of Nord women. So, if even the Nords are not benefiting from the non-existent resources of Windhelm that _is_ under the Jarl's authority, where are these same resources supposed to come from for the Dunmer who are _not_ his responsibility? I remind you, they are completely politically autonomous, and they have been for nearly two centuries.
Not racism when it comes to Elenwyn. Shes an Aldmeri supremacist and has actively consigned other elven races to death simply for not being Altmer Ulfric is many things, but I always find it silly that "blind racist" is the one people new to TES latch onto whenever characters like Malborn openly discuss how his people were butchered by Thalmor
The biggest grin cut across my face when I saw that 2 gold in the adept chest. Another step on a true skyrim journey.
The 2 gold was amazing, and then the quiksave FUS RO DAHs as well XD
2 FUCKING GOLD HAAAAAAAA, man I love this game

bestest boys, goodest flying lizards
Thalmor isn't a race, it's an organisation
Two things can be right. The entire "organisation " is made of High Elves, a race
"you guys don't seem to like the blades, but I do" words pretty much everyone thought about in their first playthrough :')
This playtrough is awesome

Greetings from France bro 🔥 It's nice to see you discover this masterpiece !
Think of the Thalmor as the Nazi Party, if the German Empire had settled the terms ending WW2 to their liking (White Gold Concordat).

Funny thing is, he still hasn't seen every messed up thing in Markarth yet.
oh sht u rite. I got hungry...
When i did this i had a grand time shouting the blades and the stormcloaks down the mountain after the meeting.
Hmmm, What would happen to the war if you pulled a Red Wedding at the peace council?
2 gold chest was a laughtrip. And I liked how you finally realized why everyone hates the blades 😂
The first Skyrim journey is so magical. I wish I could do it again.

Don't kill partysnacks. He's a good dragon.
SPOILER FOR SAVING DADDY DRAGON
if you complete the whole greybeard dragonborn quest line first , Paarthurnax actually goes home to the dovah realm, completing the blades quest without killing him
I've played this game like 5 times and I've never seen the peace council
Blades in skyrim dont have a two handed katana
Blades in oblivion had the dai katana
Make the blades GREAT AGAIN
YOU KNOW WHAT
MAKE THE BLADES AKAVIR AGAIN
The Blades suck and any psycho who kills Partysnacks should be put on a watch list
That markarth trade sucks btw dawstar actually sucks as a military point
Jake, you are a lot of things, but good at being neutral in a conflict you know very little about are not among them.
I wanna marry that “””adept””” chest ❤
The chest I was screaming at the screen just don’t go so far it’s not that hard in my head over and over
Imagine owning a whole ass chess just to put two gold in it
How can anyone not like the Blades?
Lmao, I’m just waiting for you to realize no one in Skyrim’s racism is anything compared to that of the Thalmor High Elves
You're not joining the Thalmor though. You're ideally joining the empire.
@ never said that, I just think his reaction will be hilarious😂
Blades are annoying
2 gold 😂
