Loaded Tangent and some new shoes in Treasure Island

- A little ride form one side of Treasure Island to the drawbridge at John's Pass and back. Trying out some new shoes and riding the Loaded Tangent. Board is set up with the GBomb Zee Brackets and Dad Bod Wheels as stock. I did swap the Paris Trucks for some Slappy TKP just because they are a little lower and I like the turn.
That’s a beauty of a board 💯💯
Great to have some extended commentary and footage from you.
So sorry about the loss. I lost my bestie in May last year and still aching and difficult to talk about.
All the best for 2025. I’m looking forward to more long format videos, I’d that should become a thing for you.
Thank you, and you have my condolences also.
Thank you!
*Yewwh!*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Loaded deck, Loaded 'thane 👌🏽👌🏽
We need barefoot fit style in skate shoes!
Many say Boa 100mm feel better than orange Dad Bods. I like the blue Bods on back truck and Orange on front 😂
Love blue cags and Boa 90mm V3 74a.
Love Caliber 3 Raked, I'm not goin back to Caliber 2 😂 Rake is so nice on a Caliber 👌🏽
Happy new year mate 🤙🏽
Happy New Year. I got some Xero barefoot shoes, not toe shoes, just no padding and really wide toe box. I don’t wear them too much pushing, because I don’t want the impact. I do like them when I take my electric out or on photo walks, some miles it does feel like you’re strengthening something down there.

Thank you.
I just change the wheels to the new Pink Hokus just for fun, and I love it, it’s not as soft as the normal Hokus so you get abit more board feel and it’s faster. You should try them.
i started using a pole and pumping this year to try and help give time and reduce effort on my knee from skogging. i put too much volume, too fast on the knee so, anything to help spread the wear and tear over the old body. when switching to kicking switch gotta go slow in my experience. thanks for sharing your experience.
Right on, it’s really cool how after a few long rides I don’t like to do anything over say 20 miles without the pole. It really is a useful tool. Ive got plenty of getting better at pumping to go before I worry about switch.
Try surfskate! It will keep you healthy
Yeah man. Push pump mongo and all! It was hard at first but I was able to make it comfortable
You may have tried them already but you can order some vans skate shoes in wide sizes
Having personally snapped a Z-bracket when I lost control of my board and it smacked into a curb, I'd be cautious about running TKPs on those brackets when they were originally designed for RKPs. Clearly they have a breaking point, which may be exceeded when used in that configuration. YMMV. To be fair, Loaded sent me a replacement bracket for free, but I eventually gave them away because I wasn't confident riding them in traffic any more. In the end, you can ride whatever you want, however you want.
I’ve been using GBomb brackets for 5 or so years probably half and half on the rkp vs tkp, I’ve heard expansion joints are tough on them and therefore a ton of bridges and drawbridges where I live. I’ve never broken one yet so I’m pretty impressed and comfortable trusting them.
Loaded tem representante no Brasil?
Looks like you dropped it even further.. how much?
My problem with Loaded is that their complete always uses older version of trucks. For example, they include with Paris V2 instead of Paris V3 and their surfskate edition uses the older Carver CX trucks instead of newer CX trucks that is lighter, stronger and way nicer looking. Seems like they are clearing stocks for these companies instead of making the best board possible out of the box.
Then just get the deck and brackets and add whatever you’d like instead of getting a complete. Seems like a non issue. I always swap parts and play with setups anyway.
