I'm glad you've been posting so much recently. These games are super old, but I feel like we've barely even scratched the surface of unused/leftover content that they have. Here's to hoping the modding scene keeps up its momentum and we get more discoveries like these.
I think a lot of things are here thanks of Anvil Toolkit or something, that released recently and allows you to browse game assets. I also had been digging into them but my approach was way too hard
Out of bounds in the Battle of montegrilloni Will be interesting. Not every soldier there its 2d. And some of them have the old AC2 enemy type model. Even un Revelations in the first Raid VS Bizantines they used them to use the raid machine.
Ive been told by someone who used to work for Ubisoft on the Ezio games that the reason why the coliseum is a circle in the open world was because the engine couldn't handle it being its oval shape within the open world.
@@IveNeverStoodUp No reason to be rude, and I was never the one who worked for Ubisoft nor am I a developer so I don't know why technically, but my history professor in school was the historical consultant for the Italian Renaissance part of the games. What he told me was that the engine couldn't handle it. Remember it was 2010 so developers would use many tricks to make games run more smoothly, and they still do today. Additionally, he did some lines for NPCs, so the next time you ride your horse through a crowd of people that's my professor cursing at you, and something about that even though I don't know you just makes me feel good.
@@IveNeverStoodUpDifferent set of pixels. Like in GTA SA when you mess around with the density of an object the game crashes. Its complicated to explain here just know that the lag would be insufferable every time you turned your camera towards the Colosseum. It all has to do with how the engine handles the “overall mashup of the textures compiling one big object”. The PS3 was very hard to work with its CPU was at the same time both EXTRAORDINARY and STUPID. When you think something is coded and followed correctly next minute a big pile of bugs are being translated uncontrollably which puts you back to testing… So yeah the ROUND colosseum solved that issue and they went with it. In another case they wouldve made it inaccessible or unclimbable. Which would suck x10 times.
Remember the fps drops in Havana on the PS3 Version of AC Black Flag? Now imagine that around the colosseum area. Pretty bad. And I truly believe it would be worse since they didn’t bother so much with Havana in the PS3.
Would you do a video about the missing 15th gate in AC Brotherhood (basically when you 100% the game, you will notice that you have any entity seen in your database except 1 in Rome and that's the missing 15th gate, I've tried to find it myself going out of bounds and actually I found a gate which is not paint but you can step on her and touch her like a physical object in the game north from the vatican district and you can't go there without using any kind of exploits or mods), I would really appreciate that and really like your content and that there's someone like you who still plays the old AC games
I wish if you could do the basilica san pietro in ac brotherhood from the assassin's creed 2 perspective to compare both details especially entering from the above wall.
@@SunriseDreams- yayy, but there is more to discover, I call that one ur talking about a Memory Breaker, there's another glitch that I call a Sequence Breaker which breaks the game progression and allows you to stay in that map... FOREVER. which you have to do the Outfit glitch but with a different method and you also have to adjust your frames to 30fps because 60 is harder.
could you make the desync barriers removal into its own seperate mod? its such an annoyance that you cant even capture half the borgia towers until sequence 7.
There’s another secret during the mission inside of the Vatican where you chase a fake bishop, you can avoid the chase and climb your way up out of the church and see the city during rain. I have a video in my channel if you guys are curious
Wait, that rooftop garden in Venice was AC2 and had wind enabled? Was that a debug build cuz I thought none of the cities had active wind files for them? Or was that only the unlock out of bounds area?
@@Sliderv2that was brotherhood? Man the daytime looks just like ac2. Ah but that makes sense, brotherhood of all games had individual windfiles for the memory cites

i love you desmond, man to man.
0:55 my theory is that the second ship is the one used in the cutscene when he destroys it

Love your job man. Ezio's trilogy needs you.
There is another notable prop in Venice, namely one of the fires for the flying machine, it even has a map marker.

Haha, I discovered that model in Florence with the help of Stuck Glitch
Same here. I remember using the change outfit glitch to explore Florence in AC: Brotherhood.

What mod did you use to make Ezio flap like a bird?
Can you spawn a horse into AC revelations?? I’ve always wondered that
What about those smoke thingies?
Next video:
Explore Paris during AC Unity’s prologue mission.
A venezia c'è una parte dove non ci sono edifici ma solamente i nascondigli volanti, lo visitata io il resto non è interattivo
Unfortunately, this video had to be too short
I always enjoy watching these videos
Tf 😂 ezio and desmond flap like birds ım fn die in here 😂😂😂
can you make another video showing off more of venice/florence? How much of them is actually ported over to Brotherhood?
can you please tell me how did you get the Drachem outfit? If there is a video on your channel, then I am sorry
Wait, remove the desync barriers? I didn't know you could do that.
1:43 name of the song ? sounds like venetian rooftops but its different
it is venice rooftops ost ;)
it's brotherhood's version of venice rooftops. I believe it was never released for the official soundtrack
@@andreygalvez3504yeah it was never released. It played during the credits just after “Ezio’s Family”.
@@SunriseDreams- Don't remember it from the credits. It also appeared during the races mission.

How much of those memory maps had collision out of bounds? Tried doing out of bounds myself before but didn’t get it done correctly
