I cannot count the number of plants sent out by growers in the UK to me that are literally infested with fruit flies. It is time that the industries dealt with them properly, instead of being so delicate about how to treat them. It is ridiculous that this gentleman is prevented from distributing healthy plants, when genuine sellers of plants have no shame in shipping contaminated specimens. I have even bought compost from sellers, where you see the fruit flies/ Sciarid flies jumping out of the ventilation holes at the bottom of bags of compost. These things transfer like crazy, they need dealing with at source. I hope that they continue to expand and overcome the challenges, the farm looks wonderful, spectacular surroundings.
I just bought a tree at Sams Club in Florida. I’d never seen or heard of finger limes before . I’m exited to grow and taste it .
