BTK, as Legend collectors we know the offerings from Magic Square, and a lot of reviews feel the same about Tigerwing's Stunticons plastic, it's the set's weakest point. Man to be honest you were making me nervous because a couple of Reviewers had Dead End break completely in half. It happened to one of them live, and he was nowhere handling the figures as loosely as you were. He was so excited about getting the set, and when Dead End broke you should have seen his face 😵💫
I do give Tigerwing's set the benefit of two things over Magic Square's. I like the heftyness of their Motormaster. He matches MS Onslaught's size unlike the Motormaster for MS.
The other you forgot to mention which is Menasor's eyes light up just like Newage's Devestator. I wish all Combiners had this feature.

likely you received a dud or one that had worse tolerances than others. One thing you can fix is the shoulder and hip looseness by tightening the screws in the shoulders and hips. That will help with the floppiness.

I have this set and I pulled apart the car arms.. there is a finesse to combining menasor. I like it and it’s a great replacement to the hard to get MS one.
I have a few friends who grabbed this set and theirs are made much better than my copy, chances are I received a dud.
I gave it to my son who loves it, I'll stick with my MS version.

This set predates Magic Square's greatest innovations*. Their Devy is a step-up - but the recent Bruticus set is _remarkably_ good.
*mainly their bendy but hardwearing polyamide composite material - and ingenious transformations which incorporate dovetail tabs used as both vanity panels and a compound structure connection.
Yeah I love their Bruticus, he's on my main displace holding it down lol
