Inferno being crazy enough to fight 2 transmetals in a cave with raw energon so that only he gets disabled and deciding to just blow the whole place up was the most Inferno thing to do.

Incorrect. He was killed because this was the end of season 2 and they weren't sure they would be renewed for a third. Most of the other Predacons suffer similarly "permanent" fates at the end of S2 for the same reason. Their return has nothing to do with popularity.
Honestly, I think Beast Wars was the best Transformer series. It was darker, better written, I mean, hell the jokes and nicks names in this show are incredible! The characters were incredible and I am sorry, but the animation in my opinion is better than the Armada and Energon series they have out. I think Michael Bay should think about doing a Beast Wars movie at one point. That would be awesome!

Beast wars was quiet deep when you think about it. It explained that Earth and the life on it was an alien experiment and that the moon was an alien satellite/weapon.

@@davethespade4539 Wait... just rewatched the pilot of G1. As the _Ark_ fled Cybertron, the _Nemesis_ followed it and secured a bridge leading into it. The two ships disconnected shortly before their descent into Earth - by which point every Decepticon had crossed the bridge, and all Cybertronians of both factions were on the _Ark._

Tarantulus survived because his spark survived unscathed in his Transmetal body when his drones brought his pieces back together. Inferno survived by sheer chance; the space-time alterations done by Megatron's assassination attempt on Optimus Prime caused his body to "re-exist" because he was originally a Maximal protoform like Blackarachnia.
@Dragoncry12 Yeah, if a more capable director were given the job, then that would be better. But I'd actually prefer more episodes over a movie any day. Maybe a Prequel to BW or a Epilogue series to BM; I would enjoy that more than a movie, especially since a lot of the special qualities of BW would be lost during the translation of show to movie. Yessss. :]
Michael Bay couldn't do Beast Wars anyways. There are no annoying human characters, (unless to count the cavemen, but even they could off the Preds at the end no problem) Or military gadgets. Also it would have to be in full CG or animation due to proportions. Or they would be forced to reduce the Transformers roles to make budget. At least in the G1 movies they can use real cars to save on effects. Besides, Hasbro just wants to cash in on G1's legacy nowadays.

Not sure where it came up, but it has been stated that the Maximal and Predacon bodies were designed smaller and more engeron efficient.
