The Rs 5000 one was really sweet. I've seen makeup artist that charge a bomb and make people look like a clown. Her techniques weren't bad. The foundation color was a good match. Even the eyelash placement was decent. Should definitely share the salon for people who want to get affordable bridal makeup done.
Have seen multiple cheap bridal makeup which ended bad. But then this lady was good and definitely deserves an applause!

If price is the only comparable factor the 5000 was totally worth it. Not bad at all. In fact much better than what I was expecting. Anyone with low budget can absolutely choose her.

The first makeup artist was open to suggestions, a few suggestions would’ve made her look better than the 50k makeup. The base makeup of 5k looked tooo gooddd.

Surprisingly, ₹5000 make-up is literally decently attractive, she is very sweet and make-up she did is beautiful, basiclly her make-up idea is for night wedding, glittery and shiny. And second one is very obvious pretty, she did the subtle make-up and what can look best on Tenzing face.
If we talk about pricing then in 5k she delivered more than anything. And also jewellery matters. Your lighting matters. And 2nd one delivered you everything but her pricing justifies it. I THINK BOTH HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB
yes, lighting matters so much!! also, i am a noob but I think, 5k artist used too much of shimmery stuff and highlighter ? also the lipstick seemed flaky and went a lil overboard with blush. 50k one stuck with complete matte look and used better quality lashes?

@@raizel1155 No it wasn't completely matte, the skin was glowy & she used a bronze shimmer on the center of her eyelids!! I'm a professional hair & makeup artist!!

If you compare solely based on looks, the makeup artist who charged 50k did an excellent job. The bridal look was so elegant and refined, just like it's supposed to be. But, when you consider a return of investment pov, we feel that the 1st makeup artist is a better pick. It ultimately depends on an individual's choice, what they prefer. Regardless, kudos to the makeup artists, Tenzing, and the OK tested team.
To be honest, Tenzing looks beautiful even without this expensive makeup. But yeah, even in my opinion, the 50k makeup accentuated her natural skin tone, while the 5k one looked a bit shiny compared to the 50k one (laid side by side).
Loved her second makeup look. The only problem with first makeup look was blush. It was a bit in excess whereas blush in the second makeup look was on point and sort of gave her that matte finish which never goes out of style. Also, loved the eye shadow shade in second look. It seems perfect for hooded eyes.
she looked like the best version of herself in the second look.. So subtle and just how tenzing wanted it.
Obvio for the price the 2nd one was charging she was going to be good but the 1st one was good too... for 5000 you cant expect a 50000 look.. She was good for someone who wants affordable makeup.
But its more about the technique than the products ........the 5000 one was really bad at makeup ............I mean that's not how someone should do makeup on hooded eyes

Also , not everyone can afford 50K makeup and what she did was great for pictures since that is all that matters at the end.

Two things to consider the first artist is mainly for the people from lower middle class to middle class who can't afford a lot for wedding because above 10k for make up is luxury for middle class people. The second artist is for the people with money so they can afford her. So they both did a great job in their field.

My thoughts as a professional hair & makeup artist myself: the first lady was very humble, did a great job overall but the eye look was a little too bright!! The second one was chefs kisses!! She nailed the look, Tenzing's wishes and professionalism!! Yes the price is a little expensive to many people!! But you have to understand, the artist is giving her time, money, expensive products but most importantly skills as service to others!!

I had a 4k package which was way professional & much better than this 50k one here. My artist used my products which cutoff the charges straight halfway down but still she was really very much on the mark.

Don't come at me tbh. I just to want to express my opinion. I know make-up artist who charged around 10 k but they did better than both of them and you don't need need to spend that much to look good, I don't think the money they charge is worth it whether they mua or not. Did they use high end products or very skillful. I don't like the looks.

So the 5000 makeup artist did the base pretty well. The eyes and blush etc definitely need blending but honestly what do u expect in that cost? I don't blame her at all. The whole look together wasn't that bad. But yes kryolan for 25k that she said is too much. If I charge 25k if probably use Charlotte, Anasthasia, makeup forever, huda etc. So kryolan can be around 10-12k for bridal

The comment section passed the vibe check. I am amazed how good the first artist's make up turned out for the price and she colour matched her really well. I can say she knows what she does considering how much she charges. Also, that oxblood lip shade actually looked so good on her. (PS. I wouldn't have gone with the glitter then but she can really carry that shade. It brings out the beauty of her skin tone). Pratishtha's work is great, loved the smokey eyes but more than the make up i'd say the hair stylist did a great job with the hair. Loved it!

What I LOVED was how Tenzing went to the first makeup artist without any pre-conceived notions. And she didn’t mock her. Which I’ve seen in other videos where girls ask about the brand they’re using and then make faces.

You can really tell that the 2nd artist had experience/training with hooded eyes because of how natural Tenzing’s eyes looked. Also, I feel like the lighter blush and eyeshadow suits the dress more because it is quite a bright dress.
If she used less blush and less shadow and a bit natural brows, I would prefer 5000 one. 50000 one was too simple and she was looking darker than her actual skin tone. A MUA charging so much should be able to match exact the skin tone.

Exactly..charging 50K and using Benefit hoola powder and not some high end brand is really disappointing. I would give as far as 25K for the second look.
For 50k, her products were not that high range at all, just basic Sephora and a few others of that midrange, not like Dior or Balmain.
I was thinking the same thing. In fact, I own some of the products that they were using. And the final look was alright but to be honest, me and my bunch of girlfriends could easily achieve that at home with a little bit of work.... So 50k was honestly a rip off
Yeah even products on sephora and other she used are a bit costly for most of the people as well but i think 50000 was so much for that. Though both of the artists did a good job

@@abhinavsharma2179 It's doable. I did make up for mom + 3 other aunties then proceeded with my own (which involved hair extensions) and finished off like a professional on time.! Delhi wedding so no corners cut & I was out of practice too.
I'm also a freelancer make-up artist nd i think the 2nd artist did great job with makeup 😍😍😍😍 but it can be done in 20-25k 🤭

The first mua did a fantastic job with the base n everything (except the eyes which I guess is a bit loud)... Her behaviour won my heart! Many make up artists lack the same nowadays n will show tantrums on your big day!
My sister literally walked out of her MUA because she was throwing so much tantrums. my sis was like i don't have time for this shit. later she did her own makeup.
First makeup artist was so humble & regarding her profession she was best...under 5000 the makeup was just good.. the problem here was the Hooded eyes as doing makeup with Hooded eyes is not Easy because I too have the same issue😁...the second obviously had to be worth its price.😁
The second look was very soft and natural. The first one was loud but equally good. I think it really depends on the bride as well, how she wants that to be. Both the make up artists did a really good job. And Tenzing rocked both the looks. Love love. 💜💜

i'll be honest, i had prejudices for the 5k one - in my experience, ive see MUAs who cost less try to "brighten" my skin by choosing a foundation way fairer for my skintone. but she was really good, she matched the colour well, her eyeshadow choice was simple but went along w the lehenga well. she did a great job honestly!
In Toronto, we have trials all the time and they absolutely make the most sense. You get a feel of the makeup artist, how open are they to your suggestions or are they super pushy, what kind of products do they use, how professional are they etc. You can find out tons during a makeup trial and it's highly recommend here!

Yes they are a done thing and they really do help an otherwise anxious bride feel comforted. It’s no surprise that Pratishtha is saying this because she chooses not to give trials. I remember contacting her for my wedding and she refused to do a trial. Doesn’t take away from her credibility, but that’s the way she works.
I got two trials done here in Bangalore and they really gave me the confidence to take the decision. Delhi mein bhi, I am assuming trials would be possible.

okay so seeing the two looks at the end together, the 5k one did the best she could with her skill set. She was very polite and open to customer suggestions. the 50k one brought more of you out. it looked more suited to your features. I would have a gone a tad more pigmented on the lips though. Maybe a bit more red. The makeup artist was very polite too. The second hairstyle suited you more. You look beautiful in both ofcourse.

One in a regular led and other in warm and studio lights and focus lights..

Being a makeup artist from Delhi, I use the same brands and technique. But I don't charge even half of 50K. People who have become a brand themselves charge that much. Other than that delhi has become a big market for muas. Most of the artists are taught how to do hooded eyes so that shouldn't be a surprise. Great video girl. ✨ 😊

I really liked the first lady, she was kind and was open for suggestions, I am impressed how she matched skin tone and asked if she was satisfied, in most cases cheap mua don't bother abt matching skin tone..... Also if eyebrows and lips were lil light,its almost perfect.
I do not understand the price tag of 50000 when it doesn't include the whole facial and stuff but besides that the way she did your makeup was amazing. she didn't just took a makeup look and put it on your face as it is. she actually considered your features which is amazing. she is super talented. you were glowing and it was the makeup which will photograph very well actually. the bun suited you so much!!

Bro my sisters wedding was on 7th this month and 50k is not a huge amount for these makeup artists! They take like 1.5 to 2.5 lakh for the makeup which includes facial etc
It is not at all a lot..if you consider the skill one has...and the products also matter they use mostly high end brand...

Even if you take the "skill" into account, 50,000 for just makeup that doesn't even require much creativity is a lot. Yeah, hairstyling does take a lot of skill, i have to say. But even that should cost MAX 10k for whatever high end thing they are doing. Anyway, rich people in India have ruined the pricing for others.

Neither I am rich nor i am a makeup artist...but i think other then skills (which is a big deal for me atleast) the area, salon atmosphere, the products, and the city these things also matter...like u can find a same white shirt for 500 to 2k as per ur choice of brand or showroom...well if u ask me will I be willing to pay yhat much for just one day makeup NO but i would not judge or think otherwise if someone has resources and want to spend that much on makeup..to each their own..
