I can’t wait to see Jakai play! He’s a very sharp young man with a great perspective on his role and what he can contribute to IU! I’d love to see us win the BIG 10 and then go and bring back a banner!!!!!!
My guy is an awesome dude, a worker who knows his strengths & areas that need improvement, but he’s willing to really lockup on Def. I’ve watched games where guys literally couldn’t get the ball best half court on him. He had a HS game where he stole the ball basically 3 straight times in backcourt. If & I believe he has put in the work for his 3ball then he’ll get mins this yr. He’s already good at the rim & mid game. Plus a true lock. Love the team chemistry already w/guys already knowing each other new & old.

Absolutely cannot wait for this kid to play. Been excited for Jakai since he committed. Kid plays with that dawg mentality, that is something that cannot be taught.
