I am all for reducing the APM of warrior Tanks. I am a litteral sentient fridge, i want big meaty buttons, not small spammy buttons. Hopefully they'll get it right one day.

Veng tierset: Would be huge to change it to resetting sigil of spite, and sigil of spite being the "bonus" activation of aldrachi - yes, its a big change, but it would be 10 times smoother in gameplay, you could even say, you bump up the cd of spite to like 90secs or something while wearing the tierset (to not nerf future seasons) The hunt is so clunky in m+ and not meant to be a vdh skill
Was watching yoda stress test the tanks earlier, and warrior did surprisingly well. It’s super fun to play and hasn’t been meta since S4 of BfA. Did look like VDH is unkillable though, so unless that changes probably won’t happen
I remember when everyone was saying San'layn was degenerate and not fun to play. I find it very fun. The -10 rp on DS on the tier set is actually still pretty good in single target.
I've never tried the PTR but this season really has me looking forward to new content so much that I want to try. How does the PTR work exactly? Do you have to level totally seperate toons from your main account?
"everything seems easy once you've mastered it" People who are generally extremely skilled, and knowledgeable of the classes and mechanics in the game find the game to be rather easy or user friendly. But the reality is most people who try to complete these dungeons on PTR cannot beat them. Overlapping mechanics, one shot mechanics galore. The tanks can still be extremely squishy. Along with the buff to mythic zero which scales upwards. PTR currently has not been going very well for players as a whole. If the game launches like this it will certainly not be a great season. It may appear like it will be, but it is still currently too difficult. In fact the recent update made it even more difficult. Blizzard is a company looking to make money, and they want people subscriptions to stay active. Their main concern is not about a player just learning to play or getting better. The problem is how much more is it that you need to learn to play compared to other games. It needs a lot of tuning. Tanks still feel terrible. Unless you're a blood death night. Honestly I find blood death night to be the easiest class to play for a tank. Even easier than guardian drew it to be honest. You can actively just keep healing yourself. Anyone making a tank I highly recommend blood. You're not as reliant on a competent healer
Uh if no more changes happen in the PTR, Ppal is 1000% gonna be the S2 meta tank. Yes, it received a couple of nerfs already. But none of those closed that huge gap to other tankspecs. Still, PPal has by far the best utility, coupled with being as tanky as as full def EC bear and dealing ~30% more overall dps than any other tank. Long story short, still ridiculously overpowered.
I've played Paladin sense mist I love playing Prot and Ret and honestly I didn't ask to be OP in season 1, I just didn't want to be garbage like we were in the first 4 weeks. Not to say that I didn't mind how great we felt defensively and how huge amounts of dmg we did, I knew that we needed nerfs all I ask is not being sent back to the trash. Its my favorite class, but if I have to I will go to my secondary Monk.
That could be the case. My Blood Shield healing felt much higher than it used to in comparison to Death Strike, but I didn't look too close. Either way, it feels good.
Bdk main since wrath, even when I returned to wow at end of bfa and started a new rogue and dh to main first by, the time SL came around I was back to BDK main lmfao. Soooooo BDK HERE WE GO AGAAAIIINNNN(every time I switch mains I end up back with the bdk even tho I have so many alts my guild considers 3 or 4 of them "my main 😂😂😂"
I feel with you. Same story. Started at the end of TBC and got my own account at WOTLK. But I just paused a half year in Pandaria. Now in EVERY Patch the dk feels unsatisfied for me and ill try to.. play "another alts" as new main.. everytime i come back to bdk.. but since the "sanlayn-meta" it doesnt feel good for me. I like the phantasy behind sanlayn but for me the playstyle is garbage.. many people like it but i hate it. I roll dices for another class for the new season because im so annoyed about the bdk. In the end of Season 2, see ya as bdk again xD
As a paladin main for years, I am concerned that with these changed to take it out of the meta, they are destroying it. I haven't been able to do any PTR testing and wondering if it will still be viable in +15 or higher keys?
unless you play title keys or above i would suggest to still play pally. it doesnt really matter what you play as long as you are good on it until the highest keys and being tank always gets you invited even if not meta.
I'm not sure what's going on here. The Hunt may feel bad to you to use in M+, but it is a staple for Aldrachi and it resetting is aimed towards Aldrachi specifically; getting some lame immolation aura resets would do nothing unless you completely change how hero trees work. Honestly getting out of fel scarred is going to be just amazing, I hjave no idea how can anyone think that tying your damage to you defensive cooldowns could be a good idea. Fel scarred feels miserable whenever you have to hold meta for not dying to the next pull or next TB, potentially and often practically losing uses of it, losing a ton of damage (not like live VDH deals a lot of it anyway). Then how is paladin's risking to overcap holy power any worse than overcapping soul frags? Soul frags consumption is tied to gcd, while all you need to do on prot pal is... Spam sotr button and it'll just keep going off, off the global. Not sure what kind of outrageous skill issue can lead to a statement like this.
i dont get the blizzard reasoning... they dont like how warrior feels spammy? why the fff cares what they like, the right question would be what the warrior player base likes?!?!
there was some positiv feedback aswell from community, alot of beginners/casuals did not enjoy the fast pase - and at the end, thats 85% of the playerbase - you dont balance/patch for the highend, you try to make the casuals happy -
I always loved the class fantasy and playstyle of brewmaster, but I feel like blizzard don't know how to properly tune their stagger mechanic and as a result they always leave them in an absolute shit state compared to other tanks. VDH seems like it's not getting any love from them either lately.
Honestly man, I really do hope Paladins fall to worst tank. It was so hard to break just 3K as Brewmaster because everybody NEEDED a Protection Paladin. Season 1 was rough for non Paladin tanks.

Not liking a spec cause it's considered OP and needed is understandable. However what i don't understand is why you want to put the ppl who love and enjoy that spec as much as you do yours in the same boat you currently find yourself in is beyond me tbh.
@@whaddad90 i mean he is right. Unless there are changes to BDK tier set design or changes make it so it has higher base hp or shield absorb BDK will never be at the top. Eventhough aoe damage is high this season i think BDK will get one shot before group are unable to survive the aoe damage.
I mean he’s wrong in terms of never, bdk has been top multiple seasons, but with bdk its pretty much always either broken because they live and don’t need any healing, or they die to oneshots and are useless.
@ sl Season 3 too and bfa is also not that long ago, removing season 4(which for some reason you don’t count) bdk has been meta for 2 out of 10 seasons which is perfectly acceptable for 6 possible tank specs

You can copy one of your characters or make a new one at max lvl!

I play guardian a lot.. hoping they get some damage buffs. It's nice being a damage sponge. The pulls you can manage in incarn windows are insane.

Playing prot paladin and its still a disaster in PUG because 99% people are rerolling meta-sl*uts who can't play simplest mechanics.
prot pally feels so ungodly slow to me, even with like 20k haste i feel like i could squeeze in a nap in between globals
That makes zero sense because you are literally always pressing a button on prot and spending hp between global.

S4 SL doesn't count. S1 of BFA was a long long time ago.
