In our area too here in the US, we really don't have to go to Pinas to eat Filipino cuisine. We have everything here..In fact,, when we visited the Philippines last May, I was not so impressed with the Filipino food there. compared to what we have here in the States. Perhaps we were eating at the wrong places, but the meat quality and superiority especially the USDA- grade beef's flavor is unparalleled. We also have a One Star Michelin Filipino restaurant in our area.

I have free Fresh Lumpia today kasi sabi ko nakita ko kay Kuya Jake's vlog just this morning about the Pares😂. We got the beef one, some sisig at tapsilog. Generous portions at masarap. Thanks Kuya Jake!

They made them specially for the poor Kaya ang nilalagay nila all scandalous parts of the animal so they can serve more meat at low prices. Nothing gets omitted. Even the solid fats get included. Punong puno ng cholesterol yung broth. Marami diyan ang practice ay they portion the meats and put them in a plastic bag then they let all the plastic bags swim in the boiling huge pot. You will not only get heart disease, Pati cancer na kasama sa P100 meal nila.

Many of them, rice is just a side dish. They dont know that rice needs to be taken together (on the spoon) with the viand (ulam) so everything balances out. Their idea of rice is flavored rice not plain rice. I've seen too many of them eat adobo or sinigang on their own even if the rice is beside it then they complain the adobo is too salty, or the sinigang is too sour because they ate them without the rice. They eat their rice on its own just like how'd they eat mashed potatoes.

Yes what the other comment said is true! Rice is usually just a side dish and not usually eaten in the same bite as the main dish. I grew up putting butter and salt on my rice and eating it like that 😅 I very much prefer the Filipino style now!

For Americans, a fork of steak then they immediately follow it up with a fork of mashed potato. But to Filipinos, it's as foreign as rice is to Americans. Filipinos will eat steak with rice with every bite then consume the mashed potato on it's own either before or after the meal. Rarely in between. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I prefer Filipino beef. Has way more beef flavor and they only eat grass. American beef for the most part are fed pellets or something not natural.
