I could do it if you want, just give me a good Frank Ocean verse you think would fit on or whatever and I'll try to stick it in around the intro or outro part, maybe create an intermission. I don't listen to Frank Ocean so that's why I asked you to pick out a verse. I know there's some edits of popular Ye tracks where they added Frank Ocean, like on I Feel Like That (although that one isn't an edit) and New Again. Maybe we can even use some Frank Ocean ad-libs? Like create a symphony where Frank Ocean and Kid Cudi both hum and sing wordless words or something? I don't know how a cool-headed guy like Frank Ocean, who seems to be perform better on more chill and ethereal beats, would perform on such a all-encompassing and "full" sound such as Waves. Frank Ocean is like the stereotypical "Tunnel of Love" slow-moving-in-a-tunnel kind of attraction in an Amusement Park, whereas this is like a Roller Coaster. What I'm trying to say in my glamourish words is that this version of Waves has crazy energy, so I don't know how it'll play out.
@@whitenoize3697i think the first part of super rich kids would be a great verse and i know forsure hearing the part of white ferrari, where he says. Text to speech, lesser speeds eventually eventually. Would be a great little addition to the calmer beat of the song at the start. I can imagine it already. So if you still feel like doing this there ya go. Either way great edit im enjoying it a lot.
I been looking for the best version possible of this beautiful song and I think I was able to find it in the right place and time the this song would always be reminder of my love one who we lost
Can I speak from the heart a little? This video rose in popularity so much and so quickly, it's insane. It gets like 1000 views DAILY bro, it's crazy. And for me, the most crazy part, it's how widespread it is, and how small little me managed to get his little project he did during a random summer day out to the open arms of the world, you know? I recently listened to a song called "The Garden" from Yandhi, and it was the NARCISSIST Yedit of it, and it's such a beautiful track bro. Stay with me for a little. I was blown away by it on my first listen, and on subsequent listens, I would go out to parks and sit on benches while listening to it, just watching the trees move and nature go about around me. It got a crazy summer feel too. It's an insanely beautiful track and it just stuck itself in my head. What I'm trying to say with this is that, I don't know who made that "The Garden" edit, but whoever it is, I wish they knew the impact they had on me. Not only in the moment of listening to said track, but afterwards, that lingering sensation and that tune stuck in your head. The things you did to enjoy it all the more. I want to tell him how I specifically altered my day just to enjoy the track he worked on all that more. And this is what I feel like, to some extent, while reading those comments and by seeing the analytics. I will never know how much of an impact I had on people, but the analytics is the closest conclusion I'll ever get. Like, a few days ago, I saw that around 120 South Koreans saw my video. 120. That number jumped to around 240 by the time I'm typing this today. But for me the number doesn't matter, what matters is that I probably saw one of the people who saw my video. You remember that Ye concert in Korea a month ago? There's a good enough chance that at least one of the many people in that stadium saw my video. He was probably shown on screen for a few seconds, was a blob on screen, was blurry and none of his details could be made out, but I probably saw him. Or saw multiple of them even. You know what I'm saying? I saw people who saw my edit. My edit blew up in popularity AFTER the concert of course, but to know THAT guy in the concert, who I will never get to meet in real life and who I will know nothing about for the rest of my life but that I impacted HIS life, even if by a little, just by posting a UA-cam video? And that he probably liked it? That's the kind of shit that makes me go to sleep with a smile on my face...
Yo, I don’t know if this is you with only two videos of this beautifully developed golden background and these amazing mixes with the collaborations that you put together, but please continue whoever’s doing it continue and don’t stop! I need all of this
Great work man. Now i know they sing the "beautiful morning" part like this live, but this doesn't sound like it's from a live yk? Is it an unreleased version of FSMH or sm?
I got the "Beautiful Morning" part of Cudi's "verse" from Yigit's version of Waves (link in the description), and he got his version of the "Beautiful Morning" part from a fan remake of the Saint Pablo Tour version of Waves. There is a version of Waves with a FSMH outro, but we only have a snippet of it and it has yet to be fully leaked. So it just appears that Yigit took a random guy's edit of Waves where he just added Cudi's "Beautiful Morning" part from FSMH (as the vocal take is clearly the same one as the released version of FSMH) and added some vocal effects to it before slapping it at the end of said edit.
Ok I genuinely have to ask this now out of curiosity. I love all these edits with Post in them and I keep hearing his vocals are from an older version of this song, is that true? Because all research I've done into his involvement with this song comes up with nothing
I checked the Ye Tracker, and the version of Waves (Enya) with the Post Malone freestyle was recorded in August of 2015. The official version of Waves released in February-March 2016, so yeah it's from an older version of the song.
True, but his name is too long and nobody here really knows who Theophilus London even is so... But alright, I'll add his name to the description to give back to the man some of the praise he deserves.

I didn't hear Chance's ref track up until now, I knew it existed but I never listened to it, and it's honestly pretty good. I don't know how much I can work on it, but I definitely think there's potential, maybe as part of the intro or outro. Honestly I'm not THAT proud of my yedit, it's honestly kindergarten level shit as I just slapped already existing instrumentals into already existing vocals, so maybe one day I'll create a version I can true be proud of, akin to my alien yedit. TYSM for watching my video again bro, this video has exploded in popularity and it feels to weird being seen by so many eyes as I thought people didn't care about Waves all that much.

ayo bro I'm tryna see if I can mix and master this through AI or do it myself, nothing wrong with ur mix it's just that as I'm sure u know this is heavily subjective. is there any way u can share the stems or at least instrumental, leading and backing vocals separated? for the personal use I just told it's for nothin else
To be honest, the mixing on this track is not that good, mainly because of the way I made this Yedit. I just mix-matched different versions, and certain stems have both instrumentals and vocals in them. As the track is so compact and full of sounds, the AI has a real rough time trying to create stems, causing a lot of bleed overs and muted and muffled instrumentals. Just for you, I opened the project file for the first time since the release of the video and tried my best to create somewhat decent AI stems of the track, if you need more information on how I did certain things, feel free to ask, I'm always available.
