We went for a day trip the day before you recorded this, all prepared for a hot day and was miserable!! Though both my kids ended up going in the sea. We ended up leaving by 1pm with how old cold it was.
Another great video. Thank you for being so positive about a place a lot of people are negative about. We come up from the South Coast and stay about 20 miles from Skegness and visit often. Have you tried the Café in the gardens? The two original pictures of the Jolly Fisherman are in there, plus they have lovely food and drink.
If it's any consolation it was freezing in Mansfield yesterday morning. Took the dog down the Chesterfield Canal in the afternoon and it chucked it down. Then it went dull and muggy😕 Skeggy is looking brilliant, not been for years though.

There was .Mrs fox's cafe . I think there where 2. We used to go in the one that was nearest to station end . across from what was the lion centre. And on the corner across from the lion hotel was a charity shop. It's all changing.
Does anyone remember the pier theatre ,on the end of the pier. I think it got burnt down . I remember sitting in the theatre and you could see the sea in-between the boards .at your feet. And in the embassy my friends cousins twins . Youst to be the hushers. In there.

Can you recommend and/or do a video of a good CHINESE restaurant in Skegness? We went to Hong Kong Delight last year for a takeaway, as it was just up from our accommodation, but it wasn't that great, so would be good to get into a good restaurant and/or take away if that's all that's available, if you can recommend one for us. Hi m8 andy cond from bham can you do a shop video of the shop by toilets by costa when I went it was kfc they sell teddy boy mod and ska t shìrts and everything if it's still open will be up there in July and needed to see if open still hope all's well many tks
Hi we have just seen this video and I would like to clear this up we are a husband and wife team who run the shop and we are currently doing Sundays during the season as it is not cost effective to do them out of season while we are still getting established we also have two Children with additional needs as well as a small farm to look after so it is important to get the mix of family life and work life so that it doesn't affect our kids in a negative way. We are not Jewish we are just a family from Spilsby making our mark on Skegness. We would like to invite Neil to have a lunch at the shop so he can see what all the hype ia about hope to see you soon the Bagel Blinders.

Not sure I don’t think so this was a Sunday when I filmed this and I didn’t think that they opened on a Sunday.
If only the hotels didn’t charge stupid amounts, and they made more attractive attractions skeggy would he so much better!!!!!!!! But they won’t.
If the bagel shop is owned by a Jewish family (not all of them are but quite a few are) they won't open on a Sunday at all.
