Wow! The 67 looks exactly the same. I don't remember it having that much chrome. I own a 67 it looks nothing like that anymore it was a very beautiful car. Someday hopefully I can get it to look like that again. It used to belong to my Dad when he passed away I couldn't get rid of it. My Dad loved his car. It was all white with big white wall tires with tan interior. I hope someday I can get it to look like that again for my Dad.
Considering that it was your dad's, I urge you not to sell it, Buicks are easy to restore; as far as model year identifications, most model years in the 1960's had dramatic style changes to the body in the odd years and subdued style changes to the even years, i.e., 1963, dramatic; 1964, subdued, and so on. Best of luck; '67 Duce and a Quarter is a nice ride to own.
Very Nice. A assistant administrator to the best Buick group I know . Dem HoTT Buick Boyz. That's and absolute winna. Can pick em apart. Was gonna buy one in 1976, bought a 69' instead. Only paid $1144. back then. Ran till 300.000 miles. Only trans and heads. Pretty and fast. 👍
RamblinAround There is a 1974 Eldorado at the barn that can move down the road, even with its government-strangled 500 mill. It has great torque, even with Washington Asthma.
This is a beautiful and unspoiled example of the Buick Electra convertible. But it was a tragedy about the black '69 convertible. Whoever got this one is very fortunate indeed to buy it when it was purchased. That '69 would have been a great mate for this one.
My dad said buicks back in those days were called 3 or 4 hole buicks haha.Man that machine can you imagine how sweet it would cruise the highway and heck it would probably knock any 18 wheeler out of the way that acts rude haha. But only one problem that car was made when gas was 50 cents a gallon even then you need a gas truck to follow you around. But if you can afford gas what a ride compared to these plastic bubble now days man thats a real automobile if you ask me it aint big its just nice sized..
Beautiful buick only problem I see is it isn’t Oldsmobile lol In those days I’d prefer cloth seats. They used some really nice upholstery including brocade. Cheap vinyl never pleasing except on maybe 70’s Monte Carlo with buckets or Grand Prix. Buick’s rear end was always great designs.
The sheet metal on this car looks perfect! And the price is about 7k less than here in Southern California. Are most of the cars you review "Local East" Cars? Or Rust Free western cars moved east?
YEAR OF BIRTH,BEAUTIFUL CAR! I GREW UP IN THE BACK SEAT OF A DUECE AND A QUARTER 💯
What a beautiful drop top. A real collector’s dream. And looking like new !
Had one in black, loved that car.

Very Nice. Nicer than most. If was ready, would get it. Had 69' looking to rebuild my next one. 👍💯
That is a lot of torque. Torque is what moves the car.
You're exactly right, I'm sure it gets down the road pretty well for it's size.

That's a great looking car
you don't see that everyday! Great vid!!
I love the big convertibles, and this is a nice one.
Glad you like it my friend. Thanks for having a look at it.
Sweet ride!
great looking ride :)
Nice post! The Buicks nowadays and 90s suck goat marbles, no comparison. I am a diehard Pontiac guy and would consider an old Buick like this!

Wow! What a rare car.its beautiful.i would love to cruise down old Route 66 in that baby. very nice indeed.
Glad you like it. Thanks for having a look!
Those seats look like happy faces with the buttons in the center. Ya I'm weird.
Almost like four little robots are standing in there.
haha. exactly!
paradoxdesigns Wouldn't you smile if you were attached to something this great?
Nice car
I have one of these with a light blue paint and white soft top.
That's a mean looking Buick :)
Thanks for taking a look my friend!

Yeah, it's not cheap to drive these days, but it sure is a nice old car. It would be a great weekend cruiser.
Fixing mine up as we speak
No power door locks, those were the pwr wing vent buttons. The lock button would be in front of the pwr seat switch...

They come here from all over. It's not unusual to see a nice car out of Arizona or California.
sweet cruiser
Thanks for checking it out Dean.
That is nice.
Nice cars. The 67 and 68' were plaqued with overheating issues though.
Where is the black one that 2-3 people mentioned in comments ? A black convertible is always so elegant looking …

Walked away from headon collision driving same car, it was a tank
Great cars though 67/68 had issues with the cooling systems
My brother has the same exact kind. Looking to sell soon..
Time for a road trip !! Copy the keys !!
Yep, this one is definitely road trip worthy.

SELLING MY 225
out of all the cool buicks in all the world why oh why did mom have to end up with an iron duke century *weeps*
Yeah, unfortunately I wouldn't consider the 4 cyl Century one of Buick's best. I did have a 3.1 V6 Buick for a while and it ran reasonably well.
