Damsel flies are quite literally littering our Stillwaters at the moment. These present trout with an excellent meal and will be taken readly in the next few weeks. This pattern has taken inspiration from a number of patterns tied by anglers I have fished with over the years.
Best fished on the point of a washing line rig with a couple of wet flies up. It can be pulled at pace or retrieved slowly fish will take it readily. This fly will put more fish in your net, I promise ;-)

Fishy looking Lindsay thanks
By the way the sea trout flies i won on your competition did the trick on the river Annan recently so thanks again. Big Davie, stay safe and well. Cheers
Good to hear Davie.
Again the blue is a key addition to the success of a damsel nymph. Hope that the Grafham trip was time well spent pal
Video out on Thursday pal.
@@lindsayiflyfish as ever looking forward to it
Love it.. **👍
Very nice. Think I will tie a few without the eyes 👀🙂
I am sure it will work very well without booby eyes. 👍
@@lindsayiflyfish Hi Lindsay, where do you source your Partridge from? Never seem to find decent ones here in Australia. Thanks 🙂
@@trekkingtassie6741 I get mine from Troutline.ro they are in Romania but ship world wide.
@@lindsayiflyfish Thank you Lindsay.
"Thank you for always providing great videos.
It looks like I need to get ready again.
I have a question.
Is there anything different about this fly compared to other previous boobies?
I can't wait to go fishing."
They are all different whether it be colour profile or even the size of the eyes. It will move in another way to other patterns.
@@lindsayiflyfish "Got it.
I haven't used Booby Fly yet.
Here in South Korea, we can only go trout fly fishing in the winter. (November~March)
So right now, I'm diligently making Booby Flies.
Dreaming of catching big trout...
Thank you so much for your always helpful videos."
@@chjin2nehope you have a great season.
