If you pay 80,000 for a new car it better be right they don't drain all of the fluids out of a car when they ship it from another country but it might have 2 gallons of gas in it that's all, r-134 freon is a pressurized gas they most certainly did not let that be emptied.
I definitely agree that the correct way to handle unexpected issues is with complete calmness. Being calm opens the door for level headed thinking to find a resolution. I own an older model S6 (2013) with the sweet V8T and just love this thing. It rides incredible and has a ton of power but when something goes wrong with an Audi. It sometimes requires parts to be shipped or manufactured in Germany to get them fixed. Each time my local Audi dealer (Tysinger- Hampton, VA) always does a great job and give me a loaner. I have a Q5 and that has happened to me two times...one time i just had to turn the car off and back on and it was fixed. The other time it was that compressor switch. Haven't had the problem ever since!
I love your approach. I recently purchased 2019 VW Atlas with 4k miles on it. Almost brand new. No A/C either. I wasn't mad about it. Took it to the dealership, freon was missing. They filled it under the warranty and no issues with the A/C in the past 6k miles. Sometimes ish happens and that just normal. I wasn't mad at anyone as I make mistakes too. I was happy to got my car back and I love it even more now. One day, I will have a white S6 with red leather in my garage too! ;-)
I was recently involved in an accident that unfortunately totaled my B9 S5 S.B. (Man, I had just finished up all the touches in order to get that thing PERFECTLY stanced with the perfect wheel setup and looks too) and that occurred. I like the fact that the S6 gets the option to get lowered on lowering links, anything that’s risen (wrong) with the S6 that you could point out?! Really thinking of getting into a C8 S6 due to the fact that it literally packs everything into a single bundle.

I learned my lesson about tire insurance as well. Had to replace two bubbled PZeros on my RS3 within the first year of ownership before I ditched them for Firestone Firehawks. If I buy another Audi again I'm definitely getting tire insurance, the cost of Pirellis are no joke. My entire set of 4 Firehawks is about the price of 1.5 PZeros and feel even better on the road (although I'm upgrading to PS4Ss when I get new rims).
That's total bs. No freon? Vw has been shipping cars for decades and all of a sudden they forget to fill it with freon when they arrive to the US? So what, did VW not inform the dealer they were doing this?
Hey Will….Audi has known about this AC issue for quite some time…if it was a defective AC pressure switch/sensor on your S6 I’m sure they knew right away what the issue was. I bet Audi will eventually be forced into a recall by NHSTA since it’s affected other models in their lineup. Keep up the awesome content!
I had problem with A/C on my SQ7 it was electronic switch problem internal took 4 days to fix the problem they had to confirm with North America AUDI before they work on it to fix the issue pretty much same issue

I was thinking of either an A8 s6 or s7 BUT any 4.0t model from 13-17 is totally plagued with the turbo oil screen issue where coked oil clots and gets stuck in screen thus starving turbos of oil which leads to both turbos failure. Also the pcv oil separator issue leads to shards of metal in oil. Audi will NOT correct issues until car goes into limp mode and blows up ultimately. It’s a 10k repair.....in 18 models with 4.0t the issues were finally corrected. Shame on Audi for all those people who had to face a 10k Bill after paying so much to begin with
@@WillMotivation yes, APR has a great tune for the 2.9 liter engine. The APR stage 1.5 adds more power but you need E85 which I wouldn’t recommend. E85 can get really gummy if the car is not driven everyday, the mpg is horrible and E85 can be hard to find.

Ok that being said, I am having a few issues and wondering you you are encountering anything similar. My FOBS are VERY finicky meaning that it does not always work when it’s in my purse, my other works always….this one should (and I have tried both). And, there is one phone number that it will NOT take? The MMI……won’t take it. Have you had any similar issues? I’m really P’Od right now as I loved my 2017…..this one……not so much. What are your thoughts on the MMI? I’m in Toronto but same cars come here😁. By the way, you have a terrific attitude! I would have been beyond angry with the air issue you had. Lucky you. Elaine

Nice S6. New gen models tend to have more issues that's just how it goes. Thankfully everything is under warranty.
For real. Everything usually comes up within the first few thousand miles under warranty then no real issues; just maintenance

It’s a little heavy and this may feel a little slower maneuvering around but it’s a great car. Drives good. It’s big so that can be good or bad.

The latest RS5 still uses the old interior. The 6 and 7 series have the latest interior.
I took my 2021 Q7 to the dealership and they gave me a Q5. Not a fan of small vehicles but that Q5 sure felt good. But I love my Q7.
Tire rack you can purchase tire insurance.. Yes not the greatest but it works and will save you a ton of $$$

When I took my A6 to the shop, I was given an A7 loaner. It should be equal or better.

Not at all, except the styling was great. But I don't miss driving it because of that bad suspension.

Modern newer cars use: R1234yf refrigerant for their a/c systems.
I think it is their fault.... they are suppose to check all of that before handover....I'm sure there is a checklist

The RS5 and the S6 share the same engine. Tuning for this engine is not massive but very limited.
Apr tune adds almost 100 lbft of torque
