So she walks out, without notice, and it's his fault she can't get another job. I know plenty of places that won't hire anybody who quit without notice. He obviously never got a call about a reference for her, since he hadn't heard her name since she left, so did she put this job on her resume'? I know plenty of places that won't hire you if you have a large gap in employment history. And if she did put this job on her resume, did she badmouth the restaurant and him in the interviews, because a lot of employers frown on that, too, and they won't hire you so you don't do it to them. And she says he 'stole her recipes'. She walked out the door and left them there, and never told him he couldn't use them, or asked him not to, so there's another thing that's on her. And to be honest, if she developed those recipes while being paid to work for him, (that is part of a chef's job), then they're his. All this is doing is creating a scenario to place blame where it doesn't belong, and make it seem like the doofus who walked out on a great job, for no valid reason and with no discussion, bears no responsibility for her actions. You can clearly tell that by the way she felt the need to use this excuse to her boys about why she didn't have a job. She's got a bad attitude, poor judgement, and a lack of self awareness, and it clearly shows. But we need a story that makes that look perfectly normal and acceptable in this day and time, don't we?
