They actually HAD a girl Newsie in the live shows, but they didn't use her during the filming of the film. But there's no reason a girl cannot be a Newsie. As for not being flexible, that can come with plenty of training and hard work.

I think this was the one they recently put on Netflix! I always loved the music, but I never saw the whole play. Finally saw it, and it was amazing! The dancing was unbelievable! Definitely one of my top 10 favorite broadways!

I love seeing videos of rehearsals, it's so fun to see them doing it off stage, without the costumes etc.
This is the reason Newsies has my favorite cast, and is one of my favorite shows of all time. They're all such cuties, and they love their fans so much, and they're just so genuinely sweet

Eastern Washington has this big festival called Apple Blossom and the musical for next year is Newsies and I’m ridiculously excited, I swear I screamed when I found out 😂 This film is what I saw on Netflix and I fell in love, I can’t count how many times I’ve rewatched it. I’m gonna train really hard for auditions in winter and hopefully be cast. Even if I’m not, I’m gonna see it every single time it shows if I have the money
