Thank you so much for your high praise and thorough review. This knife was a study on the golden ratio and elevating the edc knife. Ketuo has done an amazing job on pulling everything together in a very precise and stunning fashion. Ian is a joy to work with and really understands the passion and vision behind each design.
And for his patience with my ramblings through hours of conversations on each endeavor.

@@theonionpatch4905 Thank you for watching and commenting! Ian has grown Ketuo to an incredible manufacturer with a keen eye for detail and focus on finishing, so it’s really great to see you two working together. Congrats and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for Karbon.

Wow that's only $355 too? That's the first knife that's caught my eye in at least a year. And I thought I was done buying knives.

Got mine last week and your review is spot on Jim. The knife is outstanding both visually and functionally. I've always been a Ken Onion fan. He's a master craftsman and designer.

    A true work of art,,
Shame it's not half the weight, 🤔

On paper, I agree, it sounds hefty. But oddly enough, in-hand I have a hard time believing the numbers. It doesn’t feel heavy at all.

I'm not sure what's happening... perhaps you can shed some light... I've always loved knives... and have purchased many over the years, some kept, some broken, and some lost. In the most recent months, I've gotten obsessed with blades that have cutouts - spydie hole, the Yaeger, most of the Divo knives... anyway, if it has a hole in it I want it... as for knvies like this? They look "unfinished" - this one's a banger, but all I can think of is how much I would want to punch a hole through it...help.

@@ttattx I too am obsessed with holes. It began around 12 or 13 years old. I blame it on the magazines my old man collected and kept on the tank of the toilet in his bathroom.
Those holes will cost you everything. Every penny you’ll ever make, your sanity, and your health.
I hope you navigate through these treacherous waters and make it to the other side unscathed.

If you think this Smokeshow looks good, you should have seen the smokeshow i would lay down when i thought i was in trouble with my parents. This blade looks so much nicer than the belligerence i was spewing back then.
