I knew there was no way Tibette would fall into bed yet, that's too obvious, but damn that was painful to watch! Poor Bette was ready lol. They're still end game though, I'm not worried about it. Can't wait to meet and hate on Cari 😂.

Gigi is sex kitten. I hope they keep both her and Nat around. I like change and they are refreshing to see in this new iteration of the L Word.
HemanParkFilms and since they seem to be open to throuple life, it's only a matter of time before Alice sees them out and about with her replacement.
Other than Bette running for mayor, I have no idea what story the producers and writers are trying to tell this entire season. It's like all of these little microcosm events occurred and none of them have anything to do with each Other cause there's no real glue between most of these characters on a larger spectrum. But yeah, nice recap!

Yes, I thought similar. This new season felt rushed. I felt they were under time constraints and cash constraints on the show. Character development at a minimum.
I would have liked to have seen more fallout from the Mayor defeat.
What happened to Angie at her new school? and Sohpies Mom? Did I miss all this?!
Shane is allowed to still be Shane. She hasn't grown as a person. It's for the fanbase I believe.

The editing on this video has me laughing so loudly! Also, the restaurant scene with Alice, Nat, and Gigi was so reminiscent of the scene from the last episode of he original series when Alice, Tasha, and Jamie were talking and they ordered the same thing. I was like DAYUM!
I'm not Tibette shipper, I never was...they were too toxic for my taste...but I believe they will eventually end up together. It may even happen that Carrie fall in love with Dani and Bette and Tina find their way back to each other :D

I also keep finding myself thinking how much Jenny's life and story played as a vertebrae guiding road for so much of how the characters knew each Other and interacted. She was often a strong narrating force for the show, figuratively speaking. Part of loving and understanding the original show is learning to truly have compassion for the characters that are the most difficult to love like Tina and Jenny and Jenny's story was interwoven with everyone in the old show. Why don't these jerks even mention her?

Because she was an awful character, that's why. I'm so tired of this BS belief that Jenny was some hero, if anything, she is a terrible example to sexual assault victims. So as a childhood victim I'm going to turn into someone who steals from friends and gets them fired? Steals from them and profits off of it? Manipulate and hurt people just because I want to? Jenny is dead through her own actions and good riddance to her. And Mia is just as crazy and vindictive as Jenny now that she's not benefiting from the show. She doesn't wish her "friends" well.

Tina and Carrie are gonna get married or get deep into their engagement then Tibette is gonna have their moment. Sophie and Dani are going to break up whether it’s before or after Dani cheats in Sophie with Bette idk. Finely and Sophie aren’t going to actually be a thing I think Finley was just there at the right time. Shane and Q are going to take a break but come time the baby comes Shane is probably going to have the “moment” seeing the newborn. Alice once again put herself in a dumb relationship so I don’t feel bad. She’ll be ok....she’ll probably just be the single aunt for a while.
I agree with most of what you said except for the Shane and Q there over. Your something whether it’s fear or joy Shane didn’t feel anything that’s bad. The problem here is she actually does not want kid . At least not with Q because Remember her saying she want to kids with Carmen

Tibette fandom is governed by our 2 main presidents - Laurel and Jennifer. They are the main shipper of Tibette. Thus, I am not doubtful of them being endgame. It is going to happen. I trust Jennifer in this process. It will be earned. It will be good.

I love this new series but is it just me or is chemistry missing between the characters? In the first show, you could feel energy and chemistry. I feel like the show is just not doing it for me in terms of chemistry. I feel no chemistry between Finley and Sophie. No Chemistry between Bette and Dani... No chemistry between Shane and Quiara.... It all feels really forced. Anyone else?

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but they're overdoing it too much on the diversity. These characters look awkward together physically, so it's hard to buy them emotionally. Dani and Sophie make zero sense together.
I actually don’t see chemistry between bette and Tina anymore! Def absolutely no chemistry between Sophie & Dani. I do see chemistry between Finley & Sophie- I was rooting for them. I did see a little chemistry between Bette & Dani- but bette over all just didn’t really seem like her alpha dominated sexual self.
Ok been looking forward to this recap all day. Lol the transitions. The cut aways chefs kiss. Lol Periodt can’t wait for the last one I even subscribed. Unpopular Opinion: I'm not feeling Shane in Generation Q. I tried. How long is she going to mope around and be weak willed? She's a grown ass woman now, she doesn't want kids, and that's it. Simply take control and end it.
They sell work does not even come up to the old one and please whatever you do bring Tina back and let her still be in love with Beth those two belong together and they're both getting older so why don't they team up and try to help the younger people. I've been watching little pieces of this and that of the new one is coming on it has nobody to it everybody is messing around with everybody there's no real good story line. And why did they have the sister of Beth she played a great part in the first one and all these new characters they don't even come up to the old ones. All this seems like his everybody floating around with everybody everybody is cheating on everybody best never held up her promise to Tina that she would never cheat on her again and they would be together forever and what happened to the little child that they were going to adopt all of this is gone no good story lines anymore.
