But here again I suppose we can take certain elements of this science and apply it! Astrology and Vaastu are Science but the interpretation is an Art! With due respects, my humble opinion!

Lahiri was the one appointed by our respected PM Nehru ji for standardizing Indian festivals and now almost all astrologers are following the calculation methods as drafted by him. There are 32 entrances & in South itself there are different mandals.. Which means all mandals of South are not suitable & some are very bad as entrances. Hence what Ashishji mention is in general.. a deep study or proper consultation from subject experts is required.
