The build, slope the roof to the lower side, keep the water from running in the back and under you. Very rocky may not matter but it will in other grounds.
You already have shelter, wood, shade and little privacy to be burning a fire right out on the edge of the water beard I need to ask because I do things a lot differently
Brother should have stayed and helped out. Went back to play on computer editing vids. He could have caught some fish, built a fire and fixed dinner while you built a summer camp shelter.
I think that you should get bigger axe. The fish was just "you will not eat me today" 😂😂. Perfect filming but i think that the shelter could be built better. Also how many venomous snakes are in Finland? And the island that you were on is just beautiful!
@@Nordic_Ventures I've noticed this on other bush craft shelter builds especially in the cold weather. They spend all this time building a shelter and then sit by the fire outside all night. Or they freeze in the shelter and the fire is burning outside just for looks.

This was a lesson on what not to do… how to waste energy and time in construction. The only redeeming quality was the photography was good.

This one was not venomous, you see from the dots on the neck. There is one venomous Viper, smaller and completely black if you see them near sea

Why waste all the time making a fort when you're just going to hang out by the fire outside and go fishing.
