  • Tutankhamun's men buried together at Saqqara? Why did some of the highest royal dignitaries from the 18th dynasty (New Kingdom) choose Saqqara as their burial place, since Thebes (today's Luxor) was the capital of the ancient empire and the seat of the king at that time?
Who were Maya, Ptahemwia, Pay, Raia, Meryre and Tia?
We will get inside ancient Egyptian tombs, including Horemheb’s, the powerful general of Tutankhamun, who became a pharaoh himself!
You will see rare footage and hear lesser-known facts. I will tell you about this ancient site and tell you more about the courtiers of Tutankhamun and the extraordinary times they lived in.
It's a must-see video for all who visit Egypt or Saqqara - the country of the first pharaohs. To appreciate and cherish the magic of the place before you travel to Egypt watch this. My vlog / full documentary will give you a little taste of ancient wonders: ancient architecture, ancient beliefs, and ancient history.

Hello ASG and crew. Your videos are among the very best. The filming, editing, and sound tracks are top quality and Irena is a perfect narrator. Also, the writing is filled with interesting facts and commentary.
Thanks for covering some of the more obscure marvels of ancient cultures. You add real dimension to our imagination of what it must have been like way back then. Cheers from Boston, USA.

Its a shame about the one with the flashing lights. Its was good to see extra parts that other people wont show. You are so good to us all bless you. I'm catching up on your last 3 videos, watching most recent backwards, so my question about Memphis and Thebes is mute. 🤣. I always felt sorry for the wife/sister of Tutankhamun, no explanation necessary, but she also had to marry Eye, that old creep. I think maybe it's best none of her pregnancy or births led anywhere. I know it's a VERY touching subject, but let's be honest. With that much inbreeding etc, what kind of life would the child have had. I might get some lash back on this, but anyone who has studied human species genetics knows the very serious problem of health issues and deformity from inbreeding in our particular branch the tree of Life.
That WAS unusual to see the Monochromatic reliefs. I've never seen that before. Anyone who comments on my comment...be gentle please! 🤣. Thanks Irena and team! 🤘😎🖖🇨🇦❤️
