We're back with a subscriber requested video on which latex is the better the Uhlsport Supergrip or the Absolutgrip latex? with a big thank you to @uhlsportTV for sending over both of these HN models to do our comparison and testing!
Starting with the out of the bag test on the latex you can hear and see the quality of both of these latex types and understand why so many pro keepers use both Supergrip and Absolutgrip latex even in their league matches.
So what do you think? Is the absolutgrip latex the best or is the supergrip better? let us know your thoughts on the video our tests and anything gk related!

my protip for keepers, get a spray bottle, an old window wash spray is fine, or a new bottle with a sprayer, fill with water, and use it to spray your gloves on the pitch, and when not using them, because they need to stay moist. I personally have big hands, and didnt feel my spit could cover my gloves properly, so i got the spray, works well.
hope some of you try, and it helps.
I usually dump a bunch of water on my gloves with a water bottle but I find this way much efficient, Thanks!

Word. I remember the Reusch M1 was the best with ultra durability. The URG 1.0 comes in at Equal. Some latex doesn't have to be that tacy to be effective--but it also depends on which ball is being played now a day's.
I would love if you could test the main T1TAN gloves and tell us the differences of them .

Hi Alberto, I’m just asking for your input on my situation right now, I’m just recovering from a torn pinky tendon and broken tip of the finger, I should be back training in around 2 weeks. I have a national tournament on September 10 where there are scouts from many prem teams as well as national scouts. Between breaking in the gloves and using them over the course of a tournament, what gloves would you recommend? And how often should I train to get back in shape? I’m planning on training almost every day but I’m fearful of picking up a knock. Thanks Alberto keep up the great vids 👍
my experience with uhl even i bought second tier goalkeepr gloves compare to puma evopower or adidas predator zones pro the grip are undeniably long lasting and the durability of gloves are insane well standout ..for goalkeeper academy or low tier league or even recretiaonl player uhl are best gloves that money can buy

Hello sir, is it better to take the uhlsport aquagrip hn f01 gloves or the uhlsport absolutgrip hn #300 and does the glove have any difference to the #301 one ? Thanks for the reply
In my experience with both supergrip and absolutegrip, supergrip is more inconsistent. I’ve had pairs that were unbelievably sticky in all weather conditions and I’ve had pairs that are very poor. That’s why I mainly used to go for absolutegrip because it’s more consistent and I always know I’m going to get pretty much 1 to 1 latex from my older pairs. I just find in my experience Uhlsport’s workmenship in general has also gotten inconsistent over the years, I’ve had pairs rip at the seam after one session and pairs that have lasted me full seasons. I’ve started moving away from them because I hate paying a premium price and not knowing what I’m going to get each time a new pair comes in.

I can concur to this. After watching a bunch of reviews on supergrip and Alberto hyping up the grip, I got the supergrip HN cuts. Once I got them the first time, they were great. After that the grip was not as sticky as advertised. Just your run of the mill basic grip. Might try absolutegrip gloves but not too sure about Uhlsport at the moment.
You probably won’t see this but what is a seriously underrated company that provide pretty high level gloves atm I’m using one glove and I love them but I’m thinking of having a change

I purchased the super grip they were great for deflecting shots but they weren’t very grippy or durable. They lasted about four games indoor so they did take a beating. On the fourth game I almost dropped the ball when I was trying to throw it.
woud you reeccomend the geo 3 MD or the phantom shadows at a cheaper price?

Do you think these rips and tears would be the same if I were to play on turf? My school has turf and so I was wondering if after 2 months of use, would it look the same as your gloves?
The tearing would probably be a little worse on turf since it’s much rougher on the latex

Boy. Buy a glove and glove cleaner. Use the new gloves as gameday gloves and the old one as Practice ones. And just take care of them and give them a bath after every game
Any contact type latex (oneglove, Kaliaaer etc.) Or absolutgrip is really good for durability and grip tbh

In the period ur testing the gloves. Do you wash the gloves or not?
Most of the time I do not give them a wash since I can't use them for a full season I try to get them the most wear and tear possible in the month that I review them
The absolutgrip is very sticky out of the box. Do you still recommend to pre-wash them for the first use?
Always pre-wash your gloves, no matter the pair!

Hey Alberto, shouldn't you wash the gloves before doing the grip test after two months? I think that will give a more fair comparison overall, especially when compared to other gloves in other videos.
both gloves were tested with the same amount of wear and tear to see which glove would do best over a longer period of time if I had the time to use them longer I would wash them but since I only have time for about 1-2 months I try to make sure they are as used as possible to see how the gloves will look on worse fields or for longing training sets

Uhlsport absolutgrip is totally overshadowed by the stupid name brand gloves like Adidas and Nike. This is such am amazing latex and very durable too, even on turf as long as you have proper diving techniques.

The PHANTOM ATLAS gloves by West Coast are my go to gloves currently. Playing 4-6 games a week on indoor turf fields and they hold up well.
