Hi Anna - From central Michigan - LOVE the punch trick!! Cannot believe I have had all these punches sitting in my craft room waiting for the perfect moment, only to have new uses for them now! I've been telling everyone I know and telling them all about your channel. Thank you also for sharing more about the diet. I have had similar inconsistencies with my diet and have a nutritionist who has recently told me that I need to heal my gut. I have been in denial with the gluten, fat, meat, dairy and salt-free life!! It doesn't work, plus I feel like it makes it worse! I have come to feeling a little better using the "everything in moderation" rule, but THIS sounds like something I could live with for a bit - especially if it works! OMG and ALLERGIES! I have been on shots for 1 year now and feel like it's only helping a bit :/ It's not the CAUSE of the problem! I get it now!!!!!! Gonna have to plant some cabbage in the garden this year :) I ramble like you.....haha.....love to hear this when you say it I laugh so hard!!! Have a blessed weekend!!!

Lots of good information! Have you also heard of drinking 2 cups of water first thing in the morning before you brush your teeth? The bacteria in our mouth is good for our gut and brushing our teeth gets rid of it. I think that is the reason that we shouldn't drink liquids with our meals. Our saliva is very important in digesting our food and when we dilute it with water, it is harder for our foods to digest properly. So much information I have learned in the past few years. Trying now to undo all the harm I did for years.
I was prepared for quackery, but the author got it right. Sadly people have been so indoctrinated to “low fat” that it’s hard for them to accept that fat is good, sugar is the poison. Sugar is a very hard addiction to kick, I know. How do you make sour cream? I make greek yogurt and often use it in place of sour cream.
you sent me a card with the toad stool paper and it had some iridescent embellishments. are they in the catalog or did you make them with the metallics?
I go to a Holistic Doctor. She mentioned to me that my adrenals are off wack. She recommended to me to take Magnesium not the citrate one. She has really helped me with lots of things. I will take the Magnesium capsules. They are from Ancient Nutrition (the company that carries them). Praying your GAP diet helps you. Blessings Miriam
Don't forget to also eat prebiotics to feed the probiotics. Examples are dandelion greens, chicory root, burdock root, apples, garlic, leeks, oats, asparagus, Jerusalem artichokes, bananas and onions. They are high in fiber and support digestive health. They also promote the growth of good bacteria. 😊
When you talked about Hippocrates and his ancient wisdom, which has essentially been lost (or ignored), I immediately thought of Romans 1:18-32, specifically the verse that says “professing to be wise, they became fools”… I’ve been a RN for over 30 years; my husband was in hospital administration. Since 2020 and the aftermath of what happened, I have serious concerns with the American medical system. The current MD education system, with its specialty based “healthcare” has made our doctors “focused” to the point that they are utterly unable to think of the human body in a holistic manner. It seems they are unaware of this and sadly, don’t seem to really care.
