RegisteredNurseRN Hey Sara can you please do teaching on mental health like Dementia patient schizophrenia patient, having difficult time understanding it.
Hello, just wanted to let you know that I have recently passed my NCLEX-RN Examination! To study, I watched nearly all of your videos/took quizzes which were quite helpful. In essence, I did not take an NCLEX-RN Review Prep and entrusted your teachings which apparently were enough, and for this I am thankful for your knowledge-base and commitment to healthcare. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
So AWESOME! Congrats, Carla! I'm so very happy for you. Thank you for the kind comment, and for using my videos to help you prep. I wish you the best in your new career as a nurse :)
Hello Sarah RN: I just wanted to let you know I passed my NCLEX today for my RN license, and I have found all of your videos to be an invaluable resource during my experience in Nursing School. Thank you so much!
The worst for me are casts, abrasions, the typical “the client with depression is anorexic how can the nurse assist meeting nutritional needs?” Because I feel like for example instead of 30ml of urine being the average, for this particular client 20-25ml is great or maybe hypertonic etc it’s tricky I feel like 🤷🏼♂️ haha
Hi Nurse Sarah I want to thank you.Because finally after my 3rd try taking Philippines Nursing Board Exam, I passed! I was doing self review and I was relying most of my review materials watching your videos! Continue what you are doing, because you are creating huge impact on a lot of people's lives that can give us a better future not only for ourselves, but to our families as well. God bless and may you have a prosperous New year 2020. ❤️
I'm currently having my NCLEX review and everytime I finished reading per topic I will go directly to your youtube channel and search for that specific disease process. I can say that you're helping me a lot. I can clearly understand everything you've said. Thanks a lot and I hope you will help more students/professionals like me. I wish you all success!

Hi Sara , I would like to thank you so very much for helping all of us in our journey on how to answer the question. Thank you a million good job in helping other
Hi Sarah, good morning! I just would like to thank you for sharing all your knowledge in nursing. I'm so grateful to you, because you helped me a lot in passing the NCLEX thru all your good, very informative and easy to understand lecture videos. I watched almost all your lectures in youtube and answered every quiz in your website. I watched your videos daily, 3-5 clips a day and it became a part of review routine for 3 months preparation since January. All your lectures did help me a lot to understand and remember all the things that must learn for the NCLEX. Thru watching your videos, my self confidence in taking the exam doubled. Last Friday April 21, I took the exam and finished at 75 questions and just now got the result thru quick result that I passed. I don't know how to express my gratitude to you, but to say thank you. I'll make sure that all my friends and co workers will subscribe to your channel. Sarah, wishing you all the best, may the Lord continually bless you and your family. ~ Mark
CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so very happy for you! I'm so happy my video lectures helped you along with the quizzes. Thank you for taking the time to come back and leave this really nice comment and for taking the time to share my videos with your friends and co-workers...I appreciate that so much :) I wish you the best in your new career as a nurse, Mark :) May you touch and save many people lives!!
Oh my God, thank you for your explanation, it really make sense the way you explained it. I took the HESI today and I PASSED. All what I did for the last week and a half was watch your videos. I thank you for all what ypu do, especially for the other question below because I got lots of them today. God bless you always.
Thanks for your video . I have to improve my test skills I passed the first exam , failed the second one by 2 questions :(....I have three more test to go so I have change to get a B or higher but I had problems eliminating questions. I usually stay with 2 at the end but still choose the wrong one...:/ But nice video I ll try to apply it in my next exam in 2 weeks. Your videos are amazing...Thanks for taking your time to help us.
You're most welcome, Mike! I appreciate your comment and for taking the time to watch the video. These questions are tricky but if you keep practicing them over and over they will start to click. I wish you the best in your studies and your exam in 2 weeks! Thanks again for using my channel as a resource.
Hi Sarah, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing all of your knowledge. I am a first year nursing student, and I was thinking about giving up because I felt like I could not do it.. But a friend of mine who is also in nursing school, recommended your channel! I feel SO much better about the material.. Thank you a bunch for your guidance (:
I'm actually using some of these great tips for the new nursing students in my presentation next week :) I shared your link and encouraged them to watch u!
She is wonderful, I love her all the videos and web site information. It helps me a lot, I am learning a lot from her web site, and videos. It is even better than some instructor's lecture. You are my inspiration, gives me more strength to study more, thank you so much for all your hard work and time you spent on those. I wish you the bests for your future, but Do not stop what you are doing for people, hehe. It helps a lot for millions of nursing students all around a world.
Thank you so much for the very kind comment. I personally wanted to thank you for taking the time to leave it. It feels so good to know my videos are helping you study. My goal is to help as many nursing students as I can and try to make your nursing journey more bearable. I remember how crazy nursing school was :) Thank you again for watching the videos...I really appreciate it!
Great job Sarah. Your videos are very insightful. I still have difficulties in answering critical thinking questions, whether it be on evolve or during tests. It feels like information overload with not enough time spent per chapters. It is almost expected that you the student will somehow manage to put all the pieces of the puzzle together and start to think like a nurse who has had a few years on the floor job experience. Can't tell if it has to do with the curriculum, my student techniques, both or something else. For sure atm I don't feel confident that I am able to fully comprehend and apply the knowledge I have learned thus far. Regardless, thank you for your awesome video. Keep up the great work!!!!
Her videos are divided as per each system. Take your time to watch them and compare with your nursing lecture notes and it will get easier as her videos are really simplified.
I just would like to thank you for all your videos they are very helpful. God and you help me to pass my first year of nursing.. you are the best nurse ever.. do you have any videos for OB?
Wow, THANK YOU for the awesome comment :) Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. I really appreciate it. I'm glad you like the videos. Yes, I have an OB section. You can access it here (I'm always adding new lectures every week...so always stay tuned): ua-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfXiZ3a-IbRaUJXMa8mXyuOL.html
Awesome, I thank you so much for the explanation. Here is my case, I am currently LPN, but, as you know the preparation is not the same as the RN. Now, my school offers LPN-RN Progression program and I have to take the HESI before petition. But, the HESI I will take is not like the regular HESI, I heard that this one is just like nclex questions, so I am trying to review your videos, which are very helpful. In one of your nclex question series there is a question about a girl with 3 degree burns in her face, and I get the right answer that airway is priority, but, in one of the possible answers you have body image disturbance, and you said is psychological, how can this be psychologycal and not physiologic?
Hello Glenda :) Thanks for watching my videos help you review. I appreciate it, and I wish you the best on the HESI. I wonder if you are having to take an exit type HESI or mid-curricular....I've taken both, and the best way to study is to practice NCLEX style questions. I also got the HESI study guide for the exit as well. Thought I would add that in...in case you needed any advice on studying. Now in regards to your question, according to NANDA body image disturbance is a psychological needs (specifically the mental image of one's physical self). This patient is going to have to cope with the disfiguration of her face once she starts healing and this will be difficult. It isn't physiologic like the airway because it is not affecting her body's ability to survive (but rather her mental faculties)and physiologic is more important than psychological at this point in her plan of care. I hope that helps :)
I am so worried. I took my NCLEX today, and the exam stopped at 244. I got a mixed of all kinds of questions and all over everything. It was so random. I am so worried because I felt that I was answering wrong most of the time. Now just waiting for results.
+RegisteredNurseRN I'm taking med-surg in January, can you do study tips or anything you know of, that may help me & other nursing students as well. Thank you for replying. 😀
I'm not sure if you've seen it, but I actually just did a video on Med-Surg here ua-cam.com/video/tcpc0wBOjpI/v-deo.html I'll definitely be covering tips for other nursing classes as well, so stay tuned =).
Thanks so much for your question :) No,I don't have a video on it but will definitely add it to my video list. What would you like to learn about specifically? Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
+Melody Taylor Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, Melody! I actually don't have a video on foundations but would love to make one for you :) I will add that to my video list...so stay tuned! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
+Melody Taylor I just wanted to let you know I've uploaded your video request on how to study for Nursing Foundations. You can view it here: ua-cam.com/video/ipClvnSA3Bs/v-deo.html Thanks for your video request :) I hope that helps :) Happy New Year!
It is a type of response that helps a patient verbalize their feelings and concerns without feeling ridiculed or judged. It facilitates communication between the patient and healthcare team.
Hi! I was wondering if you had any recommendations regarding practice books or review courses for the NCLEX. I've heard about UWorld, Kaplan, and Hurst. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All of those resources are great. I've heard great things about them all. Personally, I used Saunders Comprehensive Review Guide but anything you choose and use will help tremendously.
Hi Sara, I have to test out of Fundamental of Nur 101 . I don't know where to start . I have a study guide, but haven't taken this class over 14 years. HELP!!!
Hello :) I would start practicing nursing NCLEX fundamental questions and go from there. I don't know what study guide you are using...but some study guides have sections dedicate specifically to fundamentals. I would take a pre-test on fundamentals and see how you score. Then review what you got wrong and the areas you really struggled. In the areas you struggled, start studying those areas. For instances, if infection control is a struggle for you start reviewing that first and find practice questions over this content. Also, it may help if you create a daily study plan and stick to that plan. Try to study specific topics a day and then have a goal to practice at least 100 questions a day. Also, I have a video on how to study for nursing fundamentals...it is for the class but may help with testing out of it. ua-cam.com/video/ipClvnSA3Bs/v-deo.html I wish you the best on it.
Hi Sara I've been struggling looking for better career to study and I came across your videos and I found your first video am I smart enough for nursing school which motivates me to start my career in nursing I'm good in memorising stuff and I guess it's a great idea to kick start my career, I will try my best to study and make my dad proud only thing I could make him happy...and just one question I want to ask during nurse exams please, do they have question that you have to explain sort of drugs or is only multiple choice questions in all exams ?
Hello :) I'm so glad you found me and that the video on "Am I smart enough for Nursing School?" helped motivate you. To answer your question about the NCLEX exam, the questions vary with multiple choice type questions along with alternate format like "select-all-that-apply", "hot spots" (where you have to identify the particular areas on a picture), putting options in order "drag and drop", and typing in values for like drug questions etc. There are not questions where you have to write out how a drug works. I hope that helps :) I wish you the best in pursuing nursing...I hope my channel can help you through that journey :)

Hi Sara , I would like to thank you so very much for helping all of us in our journey on how to answer the question. Thank you a million good job in helping other
Do you have a video on Maslow's hierachy? This would be a great one
Sarah, you are great! You're advice and lectures are extremely helpful. Thank you!
Oh my God, thank you for your explanation, it really make sense the way you explained it. I took the HESI today and I PASSED. All what I did for the last week and a half was watch your videos. I thank you for all what ypu do, especially for the other question below because I got lots of them today. God bless you always.
Awesome! So glad to hear you passed! I'm glad my explanation helped! Thank you for watching my videos :) I appreciate your comments!

Stumbled upon this & it’s SOOOO HELPFUL, thank you SO MUCH!!!
Helo nurse Sarah do you have site for nclex coverage? Thank you. I'm also a nurse from the Philippines..
Thank you for this video I really understand this and tricky question 😊
Thank you sooo much !!!!! Incredibly helpful
Hi Sarah, any tips or suggestions how to study in nursing school. I took my first exam and I didn't do well. Thank you.
Her videos are divided as per each system. Take your time to watch them and compare with your nursing lecture notes and it will get easier as her videos are really simplified.
Could u upload more questions and how I eliminate questions
Thanks for informative information..
Soooo, I found the test here. On number 15 already and only missed 1 so far. Glad I found this.
Does it apply to LPN as well?
Hi , great video. Keep up the good work. Pls what is the name of the nursing textbook question and answer help you gave the link in your other videos?
Thank you so much for what you do
I will be taking my ATI exam soon. Your videos are soooooo helpful! Thank You!!
Hi Sarah this please make some videos on cprne exam questions?

I'll definitely be covering tips for other nursing classes as well, so stay tuned =).
+RegisteredNurseRN Do you have a video on fluid & electrolytes or can you make one?
Thanks so much for your question :) No,I don't have a video on it but will definitely add it to my video list. What would you like to learn about specifically? Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

+RegisteredNurseRN Ok, Thank you

what is a therapeutic response?
It is a type of response that helps a patient verbalize their feelings and concerns without feeling ridiculed or judged. It facilitates communication between the patient and healthcare team.
Thanks for the video. it helps struggling nurse like me to understand the process as it is not taught in our hospital.
You're most welcome, Rj! Thank you for the kind comment. I really appreciate it! I'm so happy to help you out!
Very educative information
I love your videos very much. It really very helpful for me. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome :) Thank you for your kind comment and for taking the time to watch my videos! I appreciate it so much!
You rock, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, Jack! I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and for this kind comment :)

Good nurse
Welldone
Like it. Thanks!
Also, I have a video on how to study for nursing fundamentals...it is for the class but may help with testing out of it. ua-cam.com/video/ipClvnSA3Bs/v-deo.html
I wish you the best on it.
If I have questions like this on my NCLEX, I'll be set! xD
Thank you so much, you the best!
Thank you for the awesome comment. I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. I'm glad you liked the video :)
